This Youfit is definitely one of the best locations Ive been to. The staff members are extremely friendly and helpful, especially front desk associate Victor. I never have problems checking in and purchasing drinks from the cooler.
Back visiting in my old neck of the woods. Uncivilized male at the front desk. He is unable to provide proper price packages for the customer to peruse with detailed pricing and terms. He claims displayed memberships are simply summer promotions, in September. When looking in the laminated folder, I had to beg him to provide, the terms were the same as the promo mentioned earlier. He said that there were additional charges not discernible in that thin, 8 page folder. I needed to see the full contract terms and covenants, to no avail. He was fixated on trying to customize a package for the potential customer (me) with a 3 month interval of use when I was simply trying to compare that to what you pay by signing for a standard membership then canceling. I needed to compare because it would be a trade off for me since I had an extra week over that 3 months that Id be here. The package be suggested would leave me short by a week. The individual (Mediterranean/Italian look) has an aggressive disposition and displays signs of drug use. He is condescending and should be removed immediately if this business is expected to thrive. He admittedly expressed not having encountered an scenario with such a short time horizon prior but that is no excuse for bad behavior.Quoted $84 for the 3 month offer then after requesting something on paper, quoted $114 for the cheapest, scribbled in marker. Oh, how simple it wouldve been to go with the $84, despite sacrificing that additional week, had he not been made so indignant from being asked to see a contract. A business that doesnt tell you whats really in the fine print needs to be reported to the better business bureau, especially when they take offense to normal transactional due diligence AND have your banking information to charge at their discretion on top of that.Tags: back alley salesman, cretin, inferior business practices
Couldnt of had a better experience. Im a first timer and **Ryan at that front counter made me REALLY feel welcome 🙏🏼. The hardest part about getting started is actually getting the motivation to go and the atmosphere here makes it just that much easier. So glad I joined the North Lauderdale location. A now permanent fixture in my schedule. Thanks Ryan for making Youfits house a home. Will definitely be referring friends and family.Joe
Overall a good gym with all necessary equipment but the SAUNA is never functioning! It doesn’t get hot enough or it’s either never on. PLEASE FIX THIS!! I would give it 5 starts if the sauna worked. Maybe get a new heater or whatever makes it actually work.

Great atmosphere. Has all equipment needed. Allen at the front desk is always friendly and willing to help. Music is loud enough where you don’t need headphones. Always great to finish the workout in the sauna !
This place is awesome...well, every location of YouFit Health Clubs is very good...absolutely no complaint and yes a lot of compliments...I used this gym for couple years and I dont had any plan to quit...absolutely recommended
This gym is gross. Both physically and ethically. This was precovid— just FYI. The kids area looked dirty and my kids who normally love new spaces told me clearly they didn’t want to return. Upon my first appointment I was taken into a room for a personal training sales pitch instead of shown around and introduced to their different class schedules, machines, etc. They continued to bill during the pandemic and the only way to cancel is to go in person. It’s 2021– why should I have to walk in to cancel?! I’m sure this review won’t make any difference but I felt compelled to write it because I wouldn’t recommend this chain, or location, to anyone.
Nice Gym.. allen was great at desk. The gym is not expensive even though there is an annual fee of $50.Youfit offers personal training at all its locations through its YouCoach program.[Several Youfit locations have group exercise classes, branded as YouGX. Class formats include MixxedFit, Zumba, yoga, cardio kickboxing and InsanityYoufit places a great emphasis on environmental responsibility. Its gym floors are made from Nike Grind and other recycled rubber materials, and each Youfit location practices additional eco-friendly initiatives.

Beware of the sales tactic!! I was charged an annual fee of over $50 and I was never told there was an annual fee! In the same month I was also charged my regular monthly fee of about $27 and I was told I would be charged $10 if I wanted to cancel and I had to go in person to cancel. I wouldn’t have a problem with the charges if the guy that signed me up had told about me about it. He was very MISLEADING. I’m truly disappointed because I referred 4 friends there as well! If I could have given this gym zero stars I would have! Please be honest about all fees upfront.
This isnt so much a review of this location as it is YouFit overall.I cancelled my member ship after a year, the day after the annual renewal was charged to my account. At the time of cancellation in the store, I asked for a refund of the annual fee I paid the day before. They advised only corp could do that and gave me the email. Like I said, the staff overall has been superb.I emailed twice, and was ignored both times. I figured it wasnt a HUGE amount, and not worth the fight. ....that is until this month, when I was charged the monthly fee for a CANCELLED MEMBERSHIP.I tried to call the corporate number, but they only referred me to my local store via recorded message. No one at corp actually takes any calls there apparently, or answers emails. I spoke with someone at the desk in my local store, explained that I was charged my monthly fee after I cancelled last month. He said that shouldnt have happened and tried to get the manager for me. The manager was in an extended meeting with another client so took my contact info for a call back.Its now been almost a week....guess what....no callback. Next step is social media so this posting.
First time ever signing up at a gym, the staff seemed friendly and welcoming. Brittany, was cheerful and Eric explained everything clearly and made signing up easy and understandable.

Poor quality of service and bad management. I canceled my membership in summer and they advised me I will not get charged for next year. December came around and they charge me for another year after I told the manager about the charged and hes giving me the run around. The email they gave me for corporate I get no response. I dispute the charge and still fighting with them. Save your money and go to better gym.
I love this facility, however the new operational hours doesn’t fit into my family and I schedule. Changing gyms is the only thing that makes sense at this point, crunch fitness here we come!

The gym is very small and they have the same people hogging the same spots and machines everyday. Extremely hard to get a good workout in because of the size of the facility.On top of that, most of the employees have no clue what they are doing. They never inform you of all these extra fees and cancellation fees. They will never inform you of their policies. They will wait last minute to take as much money as possible from you. Very unprofessional and should hire different employees.Planet fitness is 100x better in my experience! They know what they’re doing and it is way cheaper considering the annual fee.

Ive been a member for over three months now. All in all, a very positive experience. As noted by others, there is a huge variety of workout equipment, and they keep it clean and functional.The big plus is the staff, who have consistently been helpful. David at the check in desk always has a big smile and positive attitude, Maddie was determined to correct a billing problem we had. Jethro is the head of the personal trainers, and he matched me up with Carl Cadet, who helped me achieve my fitness objectives in training for a 50-mile backpacking trip last month. What is particularly valuable is his range of knowledge, ability to keep things interesting, and attention to feedback. I tell him whats working or isnt and he listens and adapts my routine. My wife started training with Jethro, and he has been great at recognizing where her physical impairment challenges are as the result of a spinal injury, and patiently guiding her to improved fitness.The only negative was some computer or billing issues — incorrect charges — or policies that could not be easily and clearly explained. To the credit of the staff, all issues were resolved to our satisfaction. It just was a hassle to have to deal with, but they DID take care of it. I feel very comfortable recommending this location.

The manager, a guy... didn’t catch his name but extremely unprofessional with the way he speaks to the customers. Just goes to show that anyone off the street can become manager here.

Went in 3 months ago to cancel my membership, the guy at the desk told me I should just freeze it and if I still didnt feel comfortable after 3 months because of COVID, I could call to refreeze, called on the day I was told and was told I had to come in. I advised him what I was told. 2 days later, I was charged for not only the monthly fee but, the yearly and I have not been there since COVID. I emailed the same day I called with mo response. Today, Eric Peevey, the gen mgr told me, he doesnt see there was a freeze, he only sees a 3 month credit, cant tell who did it and basically there is nothing he can do. He said he never got my email, so I resent it and also sent yet another email to corporate. Youfit filed for bankruptcy, I wonder why??? Obviously they have no concern for their customers.
The manager Eric was very rude! The staff don’t know anything and gave the wrong information. I understand times are different because of Covid, but that doesn’t mean you have to be uneducated about the business you work for. Because of this they will NOT be getting my money.
Not as nice as the location I used to go to in Dania Beach but offers classes like cycle, Zumba, sculpt and has the youfit cinema for cardio.
The staff is the best part. They are so friendly and attentive which helps motivate me as a client. Jethro is the absolute best. Maria is super awesome. And all the others are ready to assist at any moment. The facility is always very clean. I would definitely recommend this location.

This club is terrible, due to covid 19 they end up closing half of the machine and closing couple sections and yet they have classes going on I dont get it, my account has been charge 3 different amounts of the price, I never receive any e-mail for raising my monthly fee and I can prove it. I am going through a literal nightmare with this company. They decided to keep charging me during the pandemic while they were closed ( which I found out about by driving by and seeing them closed). I had to spend hours on the phone with my credit card company since these guys decided not to have any open communication with their customers. I could not get in touch with them. Then they reopen and refuse to cancel my membership and want payment for time they were closed and after they violated my contract. Stay away from this hot mess....Thats aside from opening a 24 hour gym and then cutting the hours back...and having barely any equipment and large groups that hang out around the one or two benches/equip u need...its just a bad spot and worse company.
I am an early morning goer (5am) Staff are always friendly. Love Tara from cycle! She is The best! I won’t attend anybody else’s class for spin. The only downfall about the gym itself is that they take too long to fix things... they raised the rates without notice and when u call they say it’s so they can better serve us... well... get things fixed in a timely manner...
I joined the gym and the next day they closed. I understand we are in the middle of a pandemic but I haven’t used one day of membership and still they made sure to take the money from my bank account. I have tried so many times to communicate by phone and social media throughout the Facebook page of my club, no answers. I have proof of all the attempts since March 2020 to cancel my membership and get my refund because service was never rendered. The called me today August to tell me that I have to pay for July and August since they are back opened. This is completely unacceptable, I wasn’t even notified that the location was opened again and how convenient to call me now when they never replied or answered any of my attempts back in March, April, May and June. The lady in Customer service was the least helpful person in the planet and also hung up on me. How easy is it to take money from someone in the middle of a pandemic, there’s a social distancing order and face masks at all times, they ask for us as citizens to avoid being out unless we are “necessary” to prevent the spread of the virus. I’ve tried so many times to cancel my membership months ago and they didn’t, so basically this gym has been one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made.

All public utility like lockers and sauna, showers are NOT open at the time which makes the public spend less time in the facility. This is a GREAT thing as it allows for people to leave preventing a crowd.

The layout of the gym is so weird and there is literally nowhere you can go if you are trying to do a circuit with free weights, jump ropes and etc..because machines are everywhere and the open space they have is always closed due to trainers using them. Which is fine, but yall have classrooms you can use for that instead of closing am entire part to PAYING MEMBERS.
Clean and great new equipment...the lady cleans everyday... shes good with keeping the equipment and ladies bathroom smelling fresh 👌and well stocked with toilet paper. I enjoy the yoga classes.. great instructors... I go three days a week.,
I’ve been training at Youfit with Ian for about a month. It’s been a great experience. The gym is clean and has a friendly welcoming feeling. I can’t say enough good things about Ian. Our sessions have been fun and inspiring. He has catered a program specific to me/my goals that has me motivated and extremely excited! On the days we don’t meet I have workouts to follow that he made sure I was comfortable with and confident that I can do on my own!

When you have to remove your mask to breath you are yelled at to put it on and when you express that you have a disability then try to force you to show your medical records which is against the law. They are looking for a lawsuit.

This gym is amazing. Super spacious, everything is nice and new and clean. Plus they have there own protein/juice bar in house. Get a good workout and after finish with a good shake all in one place!Friendly staff and just an all around good gym to go to.
Nice clean friendly atmosphere at the gym with a good variety of classes to choose from and lots of machines. Ive noticed they have personal trainers if you need that extra bit of help and motivation. There is an abundance of treadmills, bikes, climbers and many other machines to meet the needs of gym attendees.
Great staff, clean club, working equipment, and nice addition with the healthy smoothie bar. Ive been to 3 other clubs and this one is by far the best looking. It should be the staple for all others!
Its brand new, gets really packed at night but it 24 HRS gym. Clean, so far no broken equipment. Love the sauna. They also have a mini daycare center if you have kids and a movie theater. They also have personal trainer, Zumba, yoga, and cycling classes.NO basketball court, racket ball, pool and massage chair.

I feel that my perspective is influenced by how new the space/location is. The staff has been wonderful, the space is big! I do wish there was more attention paid to the cleanliness of the womens bathroom in the afternoon on weekends though.

I love this gym because it’s close to my home. I’ve made a lot of friends since going here and I love the atomosphere. All of the staff are very friendly and always do their best to fix any issues that may arise.

Really nice new gym.. locker rooms are clean, sauna is hott unlike some Ive been too. Only downside is they closed off the training area to the public, was good for people who know how to utilize it at proper times but I get it.
I love the classes here especially Zumba & the sauna. The energy from the instructors and people are awesome. I don’t use any workout machines because it’s always busy and not much privacy.
I am personally disappointed, not with the gym, but for the language on the agreement that one has to sign to join or to view the gym. By signing one would have to allow telemarketing calls and advertising. Telemarketing calls have become a nuisance, and a gym which one pays to use to better ones life style is adding tress by robocalling does not seem right to me. We should have the option to opt-out and not receive calls that are not welcome. Thats why I am going to find another gym that does not sell my information to advertisers.

Let’s just say I canceled my membership because I wanted a 24hr fitness gym instead. While I was using my last month left of membership I attended this location and went to the Zumba class taught by Alisha and it was great! Great personality, Her energy, the moves, friendly staff....Loved it. Long story short I re-activated my membership🤷🏽♀️. It’s worth it now lol. Good job youfit 👍🏽and I hope y’all keep Alisha on the team!

Started Zumba with Francis this summer at Youfit in Sunrise and have been committed to her classes since then. Due to a recent schedule change in sunrise she only has a class on Friday night now. Back in September she had classes on Saturday mornings in North Lauderdale. Her classes are phenomenal, and totally worth waking up for in the morning. Francia is an AMAZING instructor, she is passionate, always on time, never misses a classes, encourages students to see the best in themselves, and makes you want to keep coming to her classes. Her music is AWESOME as well. I always look forward to more classes with her as she is subbing throughout the week. Francia should definitely have more classes.
The environment is a non judgmental environment..you see all ages, races, gender and body types. I only wish the vents of the machine get cleaned more often ..still great place to work out 💪🏾

I really like Youfit, you have new people coming to workout everyday, the Space is really bright and clean. They had a tribute to Earth Day and I appreciate it that cuz we all have to take care of the Earth. They have some wonderful classes that they offer there such as yoga, Zumba sculpturing and they have some awesome teachers there too. If you want to get fit you fit as a place to go they have various locations and all of them nice oh I forgot they have spin classes too.
On yesterday I enrolled at Youfit on McNab Road in North Lauderdale. I was told to arrive thirty minutes early. Today, I arrived forty five minutes early and waited for class to begin. I entered and began adjusting the equipment. The instructor asked for a ticket, I had no clue as to what she was referring to. She proceeded to explain and asked me to run and get a ticket before someone comes and takes the cycle because they have a ticket. I did and Katherine told me that I should have retrieved a ticket upon entering. I explained that I told the guy I was going to cycling class and he said ok while scanning my card. He did not give me any instruction or even bothered to offer a ticket. Katherine appeared to be very annoyed. I am extremely big on customer service and proceeded to ask her to simply cancel my membership. It is imperative for the process to be explained to customers in advance. I did not expect Katherine to make someone leave for me but I sure would expect the ‘manager’ to at least display a certain level of professionalism and diligence when dealing with certain situations. A simple, ‘I am sorry. Can I offer you anything to accommodate you for the misunderstanding’ would have been sufficient. I am the Owner of a company and if any of my employees spoke to a client in the manner that Katherine spoke to me without a solution, that employee would no longer work for my company. Hopefully, you can extend additional training to your staff regarding effectively providing information to new customers and the importance of showcasing exceptional customer service. Solution based leaders are always appreciated and advance to higher levels. I will definitely take my membership to a gym that understands the severity of the above mentioned and provide feedback about Youfit on my radio show.
Excellent equipment!! Cardio has never been so easy since the cardio cinema room ; and sauna is a perfect way to finish the workout and feel relaxed!!! Staff is also very friendly and helpful!

This is the closest gym to my house but sadly the front desk people are always talking with each other and rarely greet the gym members when coming in the club!they should train them properly and teach them manners.Whenever I try to wipe down equipment I cant because there arent any paper towels in the dispensers :(
The sales rep frank is an unprofessional spaz, he totally messed up my registration. By signing up one child rather then both my children, for two months my kids and I attended the gym. Then one weekend he totally spazies saying that my kids were in danger!! Then, he got upset when I defended myself! Saying “you people are always tiring to take advantage! I’ve since contacted Youfit headquarters without any reply to date.
The gym is very nice and kept really clean. However, they advertise the sauna, but it s always cold. Also, Im really tired of being solicited by other members to try some kind of weight loss product, or fitness club they are advertising (like really).
Great gym, great staff specially Andrew Robinson one of the trainers there, if you guys have any questions or need any help I recommend you ask him, he’s really good at what he does, really knowledgeable, if he doesn’t have the answer to your question he’ll find it for you. Over all great gym.
Everyone was nice until I got to the juice room. Juice girl had an ear ring in her nose and was extremely rude. I asked about the flavors and apparently I interrupted her phone conversation. Please put her in the back.

I was very upset with the service I received today. The manager with glasses, long orange blonde hair and Spanish was absolutely RUDE. She was trying to show out in front of employees and I did not like it. I will be canceling my memebership of 4 years due to the lack of customer service I received today. Her way of handling things was not proper and absolutely disgusting! I absolutely love the gym. I just dislike the manager! Everyone else is lovely!
