Friendly and helpful staff. But they need to employ more than one person to check everyone in. Hes do good considering this is a busy location. I cant speak for their mechanical work, only have them to change my oil.
At almost 6pm I was turned away from Firestone. My tire was leaking air so I asked where else can I get a tire fixed at this time. I called pep boys. Andre was so nice. I took it in and my car was taken back. I kid you not but 5 more people came in after 6 and everyone was helped. And they were so nice about it. It was crazy. Andre and Andrew are amazing. I highly recommend pep Boys in North Little Rock.
Our insurance company towed our vehicle to Pep Boys in North Little Rock. It took them several days to even look at our car fully. The insurance company requested more information for the claim. Pep Boys never sent the additional information or pictures requested. The insurance company ended up towing our car to another business after it sat at this location for two weeks. We live out of state so all business had to be handled by phone. Pep Boys never called with updates. We ended up with “diagnostic testing” charges after two weeks. They would not allow our car to be towed without us paying the $49 fee. Basically, it was all a big headache and we had to pay two extra weeks for a rental. I would not recommend this business to others!!!
Took my car in Friday at 5pm. They said they couldnt look at it until Saturday. I was fine with that. So Saturday, they call and begin to tell me what it needed done. The call drops, I attempted to call back, no answer. I kept calling every two hours, no answer. I finally drive up there and they tell me what its going to cost with their parts and labor. Over $2,000. So I ask if I buy the parts whats the cost? Over $900. I ask if they just replace 1 part and I provide it, what will cost? Over $400. So, I paid for the diagnostic $120 and left very unsatisfied. In my opinion, I shouldve just went by the reviews in the first place and went somewhere else. Lesson learned. Military vet or not, its just not a good place for anyone to go to. Its why I write honest reviews, so that people like myself can make informed decisions. $153 for 1 part. I paid $99.00 for 6 parts and spark plugs from Amazon. 🤦🏻♂️
Very unprofessional, horrible customer service and the manager And assistant manager was super unprofessional!!! After I greeted the manager and ask him how his day was going, the first thing came out of his mouth was I am off and once I get your keys I’m walking out the door !!!! After being there for an hour the manager came back three times and was still working but he was getting off after he took my keys ! I asked who was the manager to Mr. Norman, with no eye contact in the same little nasty attitude, mr. Norman said I am the manager and walked out the door !!! I will be definitely reporting them to BBB! Needed to get my tires check and made an appointment for the next day . I’ve been having these tire size on my car for the last five years and all the sudden they say my tires was the wrong size and I don’t get the special deal. Very poor customer service treat different customers very different as I stood there and saw how they treated other customers compared to certain customers was horrible ! The manager and the manager assistant definitely needs to be replaced and reported !!!! I will be definitely reporting him higher up as well as BBB!!!! Very unprofessional and lost my service. I wish I could give 0 stars!!! Very Horrible and poor customer service !!!!!
I was in a sticky situation and I called for help. Customer service was excellent from the phone to the checkout. Your associate Andre made sure I was taken care of! Thanks again.
Service was horrible. Friend had an online order. She was given the option for a Friday appointment, but she chose to wait till Monday. Arrived at the appointment 30 minutes early. To be insulted by the main gentleman. He even stated he didnt mind losing her business. He lost her tires. Said he didnt have time to look through 30,000 tires. He was very unprofessional. She had already paid for the tires on Thursday. Grrr. Waisted time and money...
I just got off the phone with a customer service representative and I asked them could they put on a wire set for a 2004 Mecury, he asked my why do I need that part for my car. I told he I ran a diagnostics on the car and he said no he won’t do it. Pep boys has terrible service, I’ll find somebody else to do my 1 part. All it was was 1 part and he said No! 😡😡
I dropped my car off there two weeks ago for repairs that should be fully covered under my SilverRock warranty, and they still havent even sent in all the pictures SilverRock needs to process the claim. This means my car has sat in their parking lot for two weeks with NO REPAIRS while I have had NO CAR. (And all of this is after waiting two MONTHS for them to call me back after ordering parts I guess they never ordered....) Why would it take two weeks to send in some pictures? If they ask for more pictures send them the same day. Dont move on to another customer or drop the issue until the issue is resolved. Both Pep Boys and SilverRock are doing an awful job of fixing anything.
GREAT SERVICE AND PRICES
The service is hit and miss here. They did fix all the issues with my car but I signed up for text alerts and didnt receive any. I dropped the car off for my 10am appointment on March 13th. I tried to call around 3pm and couldnt get through. I called again at 5pm and they said my car was finished. So, lets just say 6 hours for alignment, fixed a flat and a new headlight. When we arrived at 5:30pm to pick the vehicle up, there was one person ahead of us and the staff was in no hurry to give us an invoice and receive there money. We paid in full and left. I would say the whole experience was just average. Les Schwab, which is mostly a western states business (similar to pep boys) could really show pep boys a thing or two about customer service.
Down home friendly service. With the available parts stores and warehouses on line, they help you save money by installing parts you have ordered for your vehicle. Many shops have expressed warranty and will not take liability for installed parts. Pepboys will stand behind their work and courtesy while doing so. I will return to finish work on my project car.
Customer service is lacking for sure. Im big on making someone feel comfortable with their decision and this establishment didnt ease my anxiety
They wanted $180 per tire to change sensors
Very unprofessional and rude front staff. Waited 4 and a half hours for a scheduled tire install before getting my keys and leaving. Called corporate and they were no help they dont care either. Take your vehicle anywhere else but here.
Friendly staff. The wait was long, but maybe like the rest of the city they were short staffed. They do stay open until 7 p.m.
Place is so slow! We got an appointment scheduled and they didnt even know we had one scheduled. So we waited almost 2 and half hours just to get a dang battery put in. No apology for their mistake. And I ordered the battery online for a discounted priced and they still charged full price. All of this and I still have a check engine light for a battery. Im so frustrated with this experience. Be weary of this place. Dont be fooled by a good price, youll pay for it in time.
Good, professional work. Would recommend making appointments otherwise you might have a long wait especially on Sundays.
They did a great job installing 4 brand new tires on the blazer
I was towing a vehicle half way across the country and had vehicle trouble that led me to this location in North Little Rock, AR. Kendall (service manager) was beyond kind and helpful as he helped me understand the trouble with my vehicle. I ended up having to leave the vehicle to be picked up a few days later and I had no way to get a tow dolly returned to U-Haul, until the mechanic (Hong) offered to personally deliver it with his personal vehicle the following day along with guaranteeing me that he would put the dolly inside for the night so that it couldnt be stolen. He kept his word and delivered it the following day. I do not live in this community and may never see these gentlemen again, so please take your vehicle to them on my behalf as they took care of me when I was vulnerable. Their level of kindness and understanding stood out to me.
I had a screw in my tire on a Saturday evening.I looked to see who was open and due to the pandemic, most business are closed or had too many vehicles already. I called Pep Boys in NLR and Kendall was awesome. I was able to drop my car off and he was able to fit it in within a few hours. A great staff and Kendall provided excellent customer service.
If I had an option of no stars, Id be giving that instead. Store does not communicate with their online service. I was broken down on the freeway and used their online service to have rmy vehicle towed to this shop. The store manager met me at the door and told me he had no clue we were showing up and because of the holiday, he would not look at the truck, he would not have his guys look at the truck and we were out of luck until after the new year...... he also mentioned that he doesnt have a mechanic so he had no idea why the online Pepboys website would even send us to him. This company is a joke!
Cant thank Norman and Sykes enough! I hit a rock on the freeway and it tore up the undercovering of my car. I was able to drive it to the pep boys and Norman and Sykes took care of me. Everyone was very friendly and professional. Will definitely be taking my business here again soon. Would highly recommend!
Took six hours to get one tire fixed on my car.
I used to like pep boys. Went in there today to buy some tires. The website advertised buy 3 get one free. There was also a poster in the window that advertised buy 3 get one free. When the boy looked them up I asked about the buy 3 get 1 free and he said we’re not running that special. We’re doing free installation now. I said it’s on your window and your website and then I told my husband let’s go. Apparently that was just a hook to get people in there but instead they just lost a customer
Sorry for the long review, but seriously. Go somewhere else.Initially, we thought this was going to be a good experience. We had heard that PepBoys was the place to take older cars if you didnt already have a local mechanic in mind, so we brought in our 1978 Corvette to replace brakes/rotors and see if there was anything else we needed to be concerned with. Wed just gotten the vehicle and it had wheel locks on it from a previous owner so we werent able to do the work ourselves like wed planned on. Ended up needing the master cylinder replaced too, which was fine - we were told up front, and while the price tag was higher than Id have liked, it was still within our budget so we agreed. We understood wed have to wait on a few parts but we should have the car back in a few days. No problem, we thought. So we waited.Did not hear from anyone at the shop after four days, so we called. Working on it, waiting on parts. Alright. Called again two days later - yeah you can come pick it up, but it needs a new parking brake cable. You want us to go ahead and do that or just put it back together? We needed the car back at that point so we asked them to go ahead and put it back together, we could handle the parking brake cable another time.Went to the shop to pick it up. Turns out, it was NOT the cable, but a spring that had been broken, and the car COULD NOT be put back together or released to us. Instead, we were told we needed to order the part ourselves because the shop couldnt for whatever reason and pay for overnight shipping if we needed the car back soon. Another $50 on top of a bill that was already over $2000. We ordered it, since there was no apparent way wed get the car back otherwise, and brought the spring in as soon as it arrived. THEN were told theres still several hours of work to be done on the car and we still wont be able to pick it up until the next day after that.If at any point during all of this we had been told directly what was going on, we wouldnt have been nearly as frustrated with the shop. As it is we will absolutely not be back. Better off taking a Haynes manual and a YouTube tutorial and doing the car work ourselves.
4 tires on a sunday not bad thank you.manager was good employees where nice and to the point.great job all
I purchased four new Goodyear tires four months ago. One has started a slow leak. When I took it in to be looked at there was a 2 hour wait because of the virus. I understand the virus as I was clearly in my scrubs with my company logo, but Ive never attempted to utilize it as an excuse for poor service. The gentleman stated, they had to let a few people go because of the virus. I guess I will go back to Discount Tire and Brake. I took the chance on Pep Boys and this was a lesson learned as to why I quit going here. No need for the auto-reply of Reach out to us we care about your business, as I will be taking it elsewhere. There isnt anything you can do to regain my business.
Quick service.
Great guys! Great work ethics! Good price 👍
Got 3 Cooper Tires and a 4th free PLUS LIFETIME rotations and 24/7 roadside assistance. I travel a lot from acting gig to acting gig and rely on good tires. I hit my budget, but am very happy with my purchase. These guys were awesome and made my experience fun! Thanks Pep Boys!
I have spent almost $1,000 in this store within the past few months, but will not be returning...ever!Set an appointment to have an alignment performed. Arrived 10 minutes before scheduled appointment time and was informed that my car would be next on the rack; 15-20 minutes until the car currently on the rack was completed. No problem.Sat in the waiting area for over an hour and decided to check on the status of the repair. First guy I asked couldnt find any information on my car, and then the guy who checked me in when I arrived walks up and tells me that it will be 15-20 minutes until the car currently on the rack was completed. When I disputed that I was told the same thing over an hour ago, I was told that another car beat my car to the rack. Apparently, its a free-for-all in the garage and promise times and communication dont matter; tough luck. Im a pretty reasonable guy; all it would have taken is a Hey, Im sorry, someone else got a car on the rack before yours. Its going to take us a little longer to get to it. But no, I was left to sit in the waiting area for over an hour, assuming my car was being worked on as promised.Got my keys, informed the associate that he just lost a loyal customer, and left. Taking my loyalty and dollars somewhere else from now on.
During this time, we should be social distancing. Well this location has very little room inside. I felt that waiting at the door was putting me in extremely close proximity with people who were coming and going. After waiting for about 15 minutes, I stepped over to the check out area, and backed up to the wall, making sure I wasnt too close to the counter or the man ahead of me. There was no one checking out, but the guy behind the counter (I think I heard him say his name was Noah) told me to get back, like I was a dog. I wanted to tell him about himself, but I just walked out instead. I was needing to buy tires, but I decided to take my money elsewhere.
When I first made mu purchase at Pep Boys I had good customer service. However, when I came back again for warranty I dealt with dishonest personnel. I had dead battery, but was told there is no issues and it needed to be charged. Didnt feel like arguing so I left. Had AutoZone to perform long battery test. TO no surprise they printed result and it showed that battery needed to be replaced. Only then my warranty was honored.I have came back for prorate battery exchange on my second battery. Online it showed battery is in stock. Called the store to check if online info is accurate, nobody picked up the phone. When I went to the store, there were 1 person working. Was told they did not have battery in stock and they had to order it for me.With so many different auto stores I dont think there is a reason to ever come back.
Not great service at all. Very unprofessional serviceman at the front of the store name Mr. Norman.
I stopped to grab some fish off a food truck
The 5 stars are for the work that was done by the service orovider. The work was excellent. Service people at front desk were very rude and dismissed me when I asked a question. Wait for vehicle was timely. We had a free oil change for 3 years from the dealer. If it was not free I would never go back there.
Doesnt honor online appointments! Got there and were told they were booked but stil had online appointments available. Wont be back.
We happened to be on McCain tonight when we ran over a piece of metal wire and it got stuck in our tire which caused the air to leak pretty quick. We pulled in to Pep Boys at 7:45pm they close at 8:00pm we told them the situation and they chose to stay open late for us to patch the tire as it would take about 25 minutes. They were so helpful and amazing for helping us out. We are forever grateful for them. Keitra Coley you are amazing at your job great customer service! Thanks again for all of your help!!
Rude Customer service outrageous prices got charged $169.00 for a battery never going back they are ripping customers off wasnt even asked what make battery I wanted .
Outstanding service. Not just saying that because it’s quick to type - I came in with a very strange problem, and they went out of their way to fix it for me.
Their service is fantastic and their customer service is awesome. Not only for me but while I was there (I overheard conversations with other customers they do more for the customers than anyone could ever expect. They have the right people at the service desk and the right mechanics in the stalls.
This place was great. My truck broke down in North Little Rock near Pep Boys. Thought it was a bad battery and ended up being the starter. These folks stopped what they were doing to help me and my family. They were affordable for a shop as well!
The man working helped us find a great deal on tires.
The battery went out on my car all at once I got it jumped off and Ive been calling for about 15 minutes, its 5:15 in the afternoon they dont close until 7:00 but no one answers the phone so I decided if this to kind of service they give I will find somewhere else to go
The manager of the store was extremely rude to every customer that walked into this place. I did not appreciate how he spoke with me or anyone else that he spoke with. He should probably learn a little more about customer service and pleasing the customer! The the lady at the desk Ketira was the complete opposite. She was extremely friendly and nice.
They did a good job getting my AC going again, and fixed my remote start and let me know the reason my check engine light was on. Plus they didnt charge me a arm and a leg which is my biggest worry when going to a mechanic. It took a few hours but that was because they were busy and it was a Sunday so Im fine waiting for good service.
I’ve had a problem with my rear right tire. I went to Walmart. They said nothing was wrong. Since the tire looses air I stopped by PepBoys. Thankfully Deandre Norman listened to me. My tire had a nail in it. You couldn’t see the head of the nail.I’m very grateful Deandre Norman found the nail.
Hard time getting waited on but other than that it was ok. So 45 days later I had to return an item that didnt work on my car. Total cash refund no hassles.. Raising 🌟s to 4!
Terrible experience.. Rude customer service.
They have good prices but it took them 2 and a half hours to put on 4 tires and do an oil change. The guy even decided to spend 20 minutes mopping under my car after it was done instead of waiting til after m car was pulled out. I will never have any service done there again.
Free oil changes for pretty girl. Moved her 5 spots up 04/04/17. My girlfriend told me he thinks She is awesome! And now she is going to his house tomorrow for a lube job. Brake job. He nickname is monkey. 28 years service. Pretty sad I lost her over this.
While traveling through Little Rock, I had to have my car repaired. The wheel bearing was obviously going bad and I still had several hundred miles to go. I picked Pep Boys because it was a block from where my wife was staying for work. They had several bays, and seemed to be busy, so I assumed they must be OK. I made an appointment for 8 oclock in the morning and was assured they would get right on it, first thing. When I called at 10:30 I was told that the technician was still checking it out. When I walked to the shop at 12:00, my car was still where I had parked it the previous day. When I inquired about the status, I was told they would get it right on the rack. When I asked why I was lied to earlier, the service rep got very hateful and walked off. In about 15 minutes, a gentleman came out to pull my car into the bay. He was covered in grease and oil. He hopped into the car and pulled it in. Usually, techs will put down a paper cover to keep the seats clean. Not here. I knew what the problem was, and didnt need much diagnosis, just needed the bearing changed. I walked back to the hotel knowing that it should be ready within the hour. When I returned, at 3:00, the car was still on the rack, in the bay, untouched. Now, Im beginning to get a bit annoyed. I sat outside and waited for 2 hours for my car to be finished. I had to stay another night at the hotel, because I cant drive at night. I missed a whole night of work and to top it off, they overcharged me for the part. My local Pep Boys quoted me $79 for a part they charged me $168 for. Buyer beware.
I dont give this store a single star.Very rude store managerI will not be back in this store as long as he is there. Spent my money down the road where they appreciated my business, got me right in and done all I needed.
I unfortunately decided to buy my tires here a couple years ago. As I have had to return with tire services (rotations, road warranty) I am treated as if I being a burden as I have waited over 20 minutes to drop my keys off. This is often followed up with over an hour of waiting past when they said the car would be ready. I chalked it up to poor management of the garage. But today when I tried to call and see if they had a wheel rim for my tire, I was met with a 10 minute hold, a guy who didnt want to talk to me or answer my questions (just said, bring it in), and was just rude as could be. I sarcastically said as he forced me off the phone Thanks for the help and customer service, he replied Ahh yes, we really nice here. Id suggest better shops in town, with better people.
The Best Service with a smile on Tuesday night. Had an emergency tire issue on Tuesday night. We got to the store about 7:30pm near their 8pm closing time. They welcomed us to the store and even stayed late to make sure we were taken care of. The Service Desk Sales Attendant and the Tire Service Technician went above and beyond to help us out.
I use them quite often. The service is great and they have never tried to upsell me anything. They are reasonably priced as well.
Now Im the kind of person that loves good customer service. In this situation I havent even been to the store but I tried calling about a tire size. Talked to a person for 2 seconds and never heard another persons voice. Tried calling back 3 times and nobody answered now that kind of stuff is unacceptable. Now after reading other peoples comments I will never come and waste my time in that place.
The store manager Deandre Norman took excellent care of us! We were in need of 4 new tires they gave us great deal and super service!! We will definitely be back!! We highly recommend Deandre and his team at Pep Boys!
I went into the shop and the guy was very rude and then he had me feeling some paperwork that he threw at me and then when I went into my car and waiting on them to come take it in he was sitting there like well you didnt feel this up and I was like how come you didnt tell me I felt like if I was black he would have took care of me
Sucked to busy to serve customers.
Was ripped off by this location when i was 17. Havent been back and at 43 im glad i can give them 1 star where it matters. Thanks google.
Large selection of parts. Has its own auto shop. Has a wheel and tire section dedicated solely for tires and wbeels. Easy to see location from the road. Despite all of this, when I went there for a part for my truck they didnt have it in their system. If they had the part that I went in for I would give them a 5 star rating. But other than that they are a pretty cool spacious and convenient place to visit. Note. I havent had any work done by this place so I have no idea if their machanics are any good.
I came here without ANY idea on what to get. I wanted accessories. I bought a new-to-me Expedition and wanted to personalize it a bit. There was a man there with dreads and out up mid way. He helped me so much. He went over ALL the options for me. Helped point me around the store. Gave me ideas for what I wanted. Please restock the stickers. Great prices for accessories and random things. I need a lot of things Ill be coming back for. Thanks man at Pep Boys!
The shop manager is fruitcake I heard him tell someone they needed a alignment because their tires has osmosis in them... I remember in high school that osmosis has to do with plant life not tires. I would not take a bicycle in there to get worked on...
I went for an oil change, after about 2 miles down the road check engine light came on. No big deal they must have bumped a vacuum hose or unplugged sensor while changing oil since everything was working fine. The next day when I took it back for them to plug up whatever the disconnected I was charged $100.00 diagnostic fee. Hanging in the window was a sign saying free diagnostic tests. Apparently they do the test for free but you pay $100 to get your keys back. The technician told me that the EGR valve was bad and was $300.00 to fix it. After declining the offer the technician told me that he Patch Fixed it to get me down the road. What really happened was he plugged back what came loose during the oil change, and acted like he was doing me a big favor. After arguing about the $100.00 the salesman told me to just pay it and he would take it off the tires I had just ordered. In his words Ill Take care of you. after the tires came in he did not Take Care of Me I let him keep the four tires by walking out and going down the road. These guys are a bunch of slimy con-artist that make you want to wear a bull body condom when you walk in so you dont catch anything.
Kindle great manager, we have a problem with some tires, he did research and replaced. Very impressed with their level of customer service.
Ive shopped here a few times and this was my second time in for service. The store is clean and the service good. The service tech is professional if not cordial. But the customer waiting area is filthy. It looks like it hasnt been cleaned in weeks. The rug needs to be cleaned... or just replaced.
Great service. Took the time to explain the how, what, and why. Dealer quality work without the crazy dealer prices.
I only gave one star because 0 wasnt an option. I was immediately skeptical of the services when I entered the store and the cashier said, I will be with you eventually. No good morning, welcome to Dowadiddy no smiles, nothing. He then continued to pace back and forth behind the counter as the gentleman ahead of me, inquired about a tire. He printed off a piece of paper and said, with the nastiest tone, The lowest tire I have available is 407 shoved the paper in the young mans hand and picked the telephone up. Completely ignoring the fact that other customers were waiting. As I approached the counter, I initiated the conversation with Good morning, I would like to get my oil changed! Again with the nastiest tone he said, You must be dropping it off? Me with a puzzled look on my face replied, No sir, I can wait As if he had grown irritated with himself, a personal problem or his job even he sighed heavily and said, Thats impossible... You see all those tickets, thats 6 cars ahead of you. Even if you are willing to wait, I cant guarantee that we can get to your car today. At this point, I politely said thank you, however, your attitude helped me decide that I am not willing to wait nor have my car serviced at your location. You have a nice day sir.The cashier called my phone approximately 30 mins later with an apology that wasnt sincere by far and almost seemed as if he blamed me because they are overbooked and understaffed. I refuse to spend my hard earned money on services as such and will GLADLY take my business elsewhere, NORMAN!!
Service is terrible in the auto service department. Rude and unprofessional. This is our second attempt to get good quality service from N. Little Rock Pep Boys and it will not be a third. I guess poor management.
I went into North Little Rock Arkansas store today. I HAD a appointment at Russell Chevrolet for 8 days, they knew my tire size n everything. Apt st 2pm, got there at 1:55 guess what SOLD OUT OF MY TIRES COME BACK TMRW he said. WHAT, I DROVE 1.6 Hours to get there, I dont think so sparky!!!So very frustrated, now its 2:30 went into pepboys and they said give us few minutes we will get you fixed up. Wow, and so polite and very helpful. Thanks again for great service. I will be back and recommend you highly.
I went to look for a tire alignment, balancing and rotation service. Terrible attention and they gave me their recommendations and they wanted me to do and buy what he wanted ??? I told him I want this please and the one that Lira forces to do what he wanted, an awful unprofessional attitude arrogant, that it hurts that such a large company does not give adequate training to its employees
9:35 and the guy with the keys still isnt here. Line of people and employees are still waiting in the heat. Not cool.
My husband Called to get tires, they had the size, told them we was on our way, but when we got there the guy was very rude and cursing at my husband! Not ever going to spend our hard earned money at this place because of poor customer service!!!!!
With 2+ hours until the full service garage closed, I was told they had no time to change a battery today. The only way I could get my battery checked was by taking it out and bringing it inside to the retail side. Having a dead battery and wanting to know if it was the battery or alternator, it wasnt the best option to only check the battery. Really hard to believe they are booked solid when out of 10 bays, only 1 was occupied. Truly a shame they couldnt provide a quick courtesy that is a brand promise online.
Bought a battery on Wednesday and returned 10 minutes later. Used debit card, bank account debited instantly and now Wednesday two weeks later and still have not received credit. Updated, Wednesday new manager called and offered cash refund which I accepted.
A tune up on a 4 cyl Dodge advenger was estimated at $500. I Bought socket and ratched n extensions and tune. Car up myself
They are consistent......went in for a oil change and for them to check for oil leak and it took 4 hours. I got up to ask what was going on, it took another 10 minutes to find the paper to my vehicle. My recommendation is to hire more mechanics and start over 😫 I dont know something need to change. Making appointments online is pointless too even though they always say to do it like is going to cut your waiting time but is not I experience that too. Make sure your whole day is clear before you go for service. They need to offer more coupons for the long waits too.
Good place to go if u want to wait all day to get some tires changed
Terrible labor and terrible customer service. The manager hung up in my face after asking about how my insurance could assist me in the costs. I wanted to know details but wasn’t aware that I was being too persistent on knowing the ways. Someone tried to warn me about this place but it was my last resort. I will now rather walk to work every day if they were the last automotive place in Little Rock.I don’t trust any of these “good” reviews on here. I’m 99% sure most of those reviews are fake and just came from family/friends.
Customer service was awesome 👍👌
My husband went to This PEP Boys several years ago and wanted to buy 4 tires and they would not help him. He would not go back until today. He had a flat and was going to again buy tires. He had aired up the flat tire to make it there. When he got there the Rep asked him if the tire was on the car and he said yes. He was then told that it was too much work for them to take the tire off and put another one on. What are they there for. I seems to me that if someone is going to buy tires from you you would want to sell them if that is part of your business. Will NEVER go back again. And there is not a tab to just rate as poor so, make no mistake about it the service was nowhere near fair, ALL POOR!!!! Reading the previous reviews this is a problem for most people.
So far so good...only one mechanic today. Kendall is always kind
I tried calling up there to see about some parts for my car. First it took a while before anyone answered and then finally I was told to call back in 5 minutes because he was the only one up there. Ive never had to call back an auto part store usually they would just look it up on their system and be done with it but not at this place. Theyre not run right obviously. Horrible customer service 👎👎.
I was driving from Pennsylvania to Texas. After having had a blow out near Little Rock, my fiance and I drove to this Pep Boys location. The staff stayed late on a Friday night to get us a new tire put on and to replace our lugnuts that had defective tread. The staff was so amiable and helpful. The General Manager was outstanding and even chatted with us as we waited for our tire to be replaced. Highly recommend this location for superior auto and customer service.
Awesome place to buy auto parts for your vehicle. They have great auto mechanic services as well.
I thought Id take the cheap route and take my car to Pep Boys for diagnostics to tell me what was needed on several issues on my car. I was first me with the manager having an argument with an employee right in front of me behind the counter, and with no apologies after it was over for doing so in front of me. Id already printed off a list of the issues I had with the car and gave it to the technician. He looked at it with a confused look and handed it back to me and just pointed to the items and asked if I could read them to him. Not the best warm and fuzzy feeling but I went with it. He first said that it would be over $200 for them to just tell me what was wrong with the car ($100 more than the dealer would have charged me). I told him this and he came down on the price. A day later, I got a call from them stating that the car needed extensive repairs that would be over $2000. I told him to STOP, close the hood and Id be out to pick it up right away. When I got there, they showed me the needed repairs and what the breakdown of the bill. Several items were duplicated with unspecified shop fees which they couldnt even tell me what that was. On the ticket, theyd also noted Car is not drivable and customer refuses needed repairs. Yeah, this customer wasnt borne yesterday and yeah, hes refusing these bogus repairs. I took the car straight to the dealer and they got me right in and 2 hours later theyd made all needed repairs at only $390 which included a FREE diagnostics as well as a FREE oil change. Yeah, lesson learned, Ill never take my car back to Pep Boys, from now on, its only going to the dealer!
Norman is an outstanding employee. He runs a tight ship in both Little Rock ar. Thank you
Well, I thought we had a great experience until wires started showing on my less than 7 month old tire. I bought the tire Aprl 1st and today is October 28th. I contacted the store manager DeAndre Norman and was told theres no warranty and theres nothing they could do. Ive NEVER had a tire wear out in 6 months. Im not sure who the district manager is but I would love to speak with him/her regarding this matter.
If you want to pay top dollar for a subpar shade tree mechanic they’re the spot to go. I arrived @ 10 for my appointment to do my rear drums brakes. It took them 8 hours for a job the book says shouldn’t take more then 2.5 hours for a trained professional. And when they FINALLY did release it the rear brakes where still out. Why? They replaced the parts I told them too. Where they right I needed more parts to fix it it correctly?Nope. They forgot to bleed the brake lines. (I did it in the parking lot, and Presto! My brake light went off and all 4 tires would lock up on demand. I drove it back to the front and locked them up to prove the point and explain I just had to bleed them. I checked the fitting they claimed was my problem when I got home. it wasn’t.I would have been ahead to park the thing out of an O’Rielys part store and done the work myself.
Dont bother making an online appointment. They ignore them and work on whatever cars they feel like it. Made an 8am appointment and only got worked on at 11:30 am because I complained. Then they never called me back and told me it was done. And when I called to ask if it was ready, they hung up on me twice, acted like they couldnt find the car, then laughed when they told me that they didnt know why Robert hadnt called me yet.Maybe they just feel like they can take advantage of women here? I wont be shopping here again no matter what.I will be calling corporate. I feel like I was deliberately given the worst service possible and I am genuinely afraid that my car has been damaged or sabotaged in some way.
Very rude service. Every time I called, was told they were extremely busy and didn’t know if they could get around to my car. Spoke with a male by the name of Norman-very rude tone, a lot of sarcasm n his voice, talking over me, and wouldn’t allow me to get my sentences out. I was told that my vehicle would be checked out and that someone would call me. No one ever took my information the first day-and I never received a call back. When I called back the sending day, someone took my personal information, but the were extreme rude and sarcastic while doing it. Very rude and poor customer service. This will be my last time taking any vehicle to this facility.
Had a 2:00 appointment for a oil change. At 3:15 they told me I was next in line. 4:15 nothing. When I asked for my keys back they finally were getting it into the shop. They gave me half off. Next time I will wait 2 hours at walmart. At least they have coffee.
I took my truck for an alignment. They did not do nothing, because the job was too big for them. And they didn’t called me. I show up, and noticed it, 2 hours later. I was expecting a work done.Long waiting for nothing.
