Hit or miss. If there’s a long line, I’m not waiting. Kolaches are doughy and could stand to be baked a bit longer, but not overcooked and hard like in past. Donuts are usually hot and fresh. Sometimes they are closed on non holidays. They used to always be open. Overall, Consistency here is what I’d like to see. And napkins. Never get napkins unless I ask.

Use to be the best place in Sherwood for donuts when the older couple had it. The new owners dont never make the chocolate cover cream cheese filled one it always a long john filled one and they changed the recipe for the cream cheese its not the same. They use to add 7~up to the cream cheese. They are never busy anymore like they use to be.

Fresh donuts. Ladies here get us in and out. They make sure that the boys donuts are separated. So there will not be any fighting over whos is whos.

Shipleys Donuts in Sherwood, AR is a family business and always so prompt & friendly. Their sausage and cheese colache is wonderful. They get you in & out fast through their drive-thru which is great.

Used to be the best place around for kolaches. Im not sure what happened, new owners? Explains why the lines arent as long anymore but.. cant recommend anymore.

Good Gooey Donuts

When I first came two Sherwood I started eating here they had different owners at the time, you would have to wait but it was Always fresh. Now the new owners I eat here like 3 times a week if not more. It’s getting wear the Kolache‘s are hard as a rock and burnt & the glazed donuts taste like a day old. This is every other time it’s getting ridiculous. I’m writing a review so hopefully the owners see this & makes some changes. I eat here a lot so if not then I’ll have to find another breakfast spot in the morning.

Love the breakfast croissant sandwich here. I went through the drive thru and there was only one car in front of me. They came out and took my order and the car behind mes order. The car behind me got their order and left I waited I guess 12 to 15 minutes behind the car in front of me. Finally they gave a cup of coffee to the car in front of me and they drove off. I guess they made a fresh pot I am figuring? When I pulled to the window they were very sorry for my wait and the car in front of me left money to pay for my breakfast. I gave 5 stars because things happen sometimes and this was one of those times. Also because I come here often and it was the first time it had happened.

This place is a definite contender for best donuts. Baked fresh daily, so get there early if you want specifics. Their cinnamon twists are my favorite, but we always have a hard time deciding what to get. The best part is, if theyre out of the donut you want, there are always excellent other choices. Yes it gets busy, but thats a great indicator that what they have is worth waiting for. And to top it off, the staff here is always friendly and efficient!

Warning: Do not enter the drive through without having an extra 30 minutes to kill. I thought this was a one time thing after sitting in the drive through for 30 minutes, but I returned and waited approximately 30 minutes each time. Whats going on here? The line is out in the street, not just because this is a popular spot, but because each car is averaging 15 minutes each. The only reason I agree with the one star is because the doughnuts/ kalaches are good. Something is wrong with service, especially when you begin running out of everything by 9:00 am. Lately I cringe when passing, and I just keep driving.

I went for nostalgia, but it wasnt as good as remembered. They forgot one item, then turned out they didnt have it or 3 alternatives we tried.

THE BEST donuts in Central Arkansas! Light, not too sweet and melt in your mouth deliciousness. If you come early, be prepared to wait. The line for the drive thru regularly stretches into the street. The line inside is long as well. All of that waiting is worth it. Trust me. You wont be disappointed.

This is the only donut place that actually tastes like Shipleys. Since the Shipley company has been sold you cant find really good donuts but if you want good donuts this is the place to be 😘

We have gone to this Shipleys for years. This place is always busy and for good reason. The folks there care for their customers, their prices cant be beat, and the donuts are awesome. And... they stay open until the late afternoon! You gotta check it out.

The blueberry donuts here ARE THE BEST...cant be beat ANYWHERE!! The people are kind and always smiling! Just make sure you leave fifteen minutes early, otherwise, you miss your Sunday School opening!

This is the best place to get donuts in Sherwood. Yes the line gets long sometimes but it is worth it. We love the service and they do a great job getting 5people through as fast as they can while being friendly. Theyve been expanding the menu over the last few years so not only are there many donut choices they also offer kolaches, biscuits, croissants.

If fresh baked do-nuts is what youre looking for, then look no more! Shipley do- nuts is the best! Its the only do-nuts place I go to. I also love their ham egg and cheese croissant! Very friendly /cheerful staff!!

The wait in this place is crazy. I get it’s Saturday morning, but my wait was going to be about 25 minutes until I decided to walk out because I had places to be. Each customer that walks in is helped by one, very slow, cashier. This cashier boxes up every individual donut per customer as they point to each one and say, “uhhh...that one...and one of those...and that one.” It’s the kind of sweet, down-home inefficiency you’ll only find in Arkansas.So, Shipley, if you’re reading this I have offered a few suggestions:-Get a second register for the other guy who just stands there.-Offer pre-boxed dozens at a slightly discounted price. These could be a mix or all the same. Seriously, I had to watch while they hand the donuts through from the back one-by-one while the cashier then boxes them up one-by-one, even when they’re all the same! How about skipping a few steps there and getting a whole lot more customers through your door.It was averaging about 4 minutes per customer. To get donuts. I counted.

My wife loves Shipleys or Id never go here. Donuts are good but they are so slow. Ive had to wait 20 minutes for donuts on more than one occasion. And each time there were only a dozen or so people ahead of me. Only one credit card machine and I think it still uses dial-up.

This location is convenient to my house but not my favorite donut shop. I sat in the car with our baby while my husband went in and I watched numerous vehicles receive service through the drive thru but it took 30 minutes for him to be waited on in the lobby. The kolaches he finally received had thin, overcooked dough, comparable to pizza crust. They were out of donut holes at 9AM. Next time well drive to the shop that has never disappointed us since this locations convenience is outweighed by their poor products and service.

Went early in the morning and they were out of everything we wanted

I went to this donut shop and ordered a dozen donuts, 10 glazed and 2 cake. The glazed were good but the cake donuts were rather hard and were not sweet at all. I called them to tell them of this matter and her response was if youve bitten into the donut I cant refund you. I said well how was I supposed to know the donut was not sweet until I tasted it, her response was the same. So the purpose of this review is to inform you that there customer complaint policy is terrible and to be aware.

I would give 5 stars but oh my gosh the drive-thru!!!! You’ll wait 15 minutes with only 2 cars in front of you. I love this place, and if you go inside you get speedy service. But, unless you have 20 minutes to spare, don’t attempt the drive-thru. Whomever runs it is just painfully painfully slow 😬

Yooooo, the lines are long and they were out of mostly everything at 10am in the morning but man those plain glazed doughnuts make it worth the hassle. The sweet little old lady at the register inside is sweet as pie and made my whole day by finding one last apple fritter so my moms mothers day breakfast could be extra special. It could be cleaner but hey, youre already killing yourself with a 1,000 doughnut why worry about it? Am I right? Lol!

This is tough to say, because I dont feel like it was done on purpose. Unfortunately the 2 older ladies had a big issue with keeping up with the customers. I should not have been held up for 30-40 minutes this morning. Hopefully this was just a fluke day and the younger crew called in. Well see next time.

Live in LR and its well worth the drive to The Wood to get those scrumptious donuts and a breakfast sandwich. Theyre addictive to a foodie like me.

Now I know why they never have jalapeño kolaches. I am waiting in line and see a “pile” of jalapeño kolaches. I’m visibly excited. While waiting, the young lady working answers the phone and takes a Togo order for 12 jalapeño kolaches. Except, this Togo order isn’t going to be picked up for another 45 MINUTES! She proceeds to take all 12 kolaches and now there are none and I am told I have to wait 10 min for more to be made. I feel like those 12 could have been made to order considering how much time they have until the order is picked up. I have always loved this place and the food is great most of the time but they need new management. That is ridiculous.
