Ive been in Renown Music only twice but the entire staff was friendly and helpful. They have some quality guitars and they let you play them without bugging you. I would recommend that you check them out. They offer lessons in a variety of instruments. I will probably in the near future purchase a guitar there.

I cannot endorse Brandon Toney and his company, Renown Music, enough. Brandon has provide exceptional guitar service including structural repairs, cosmetic repairs, setting of action and intonation, fretwork, and pickup replacements for all of my guitars. I trust Renown Music completely for my luthier and repair work as well as have my two kids in music lessons. We are lucky to have such a trained and accomplished luthier right here in North Little Rock.

TL;DR Review: I cant say enough nice things about this place. If youre in doubt, go in and find out.I had my Strat set up at Guitar Center ten years ago with 13 gauge strings. A decade older, I decided that I dont play hard enough to warrant 13s, so I asked a musician friend of mine who hed trust with his most valued instruments. He said Renown was it, so I headed over.I walked in on a Wednesday, asked for a setup for lighter strings. The staff were helpful and openly gave recommendations when I didnt really know what to say after they asked what kind of strings Id like. I settled on Stringjoy light gauge strings. They promised Tuesday of the following week due to the heavy workload theyd received recently.I got the call two days later on Friday; it was ready to be picked up. When I got my guitar back, their charge was WAY cheaper than Guitar Center (like a fraction of the cost), and my guitar plays better than it ever has. No fret buzz, no intonation issues, and sooo comfortable. I played for about three minutes, and said aloud to an empty room, Wow.I love this place and Im probably going to take them my Martin this week.

No better place to do business. Purchased several guitars here and had repair work done on vintage instruments. Work is better than factory. If you have any doubts you are welcome to see what he has done on my instruments.

I have been going to Renown music for about a year now. They are fair on their prices. Brandon really cares about his customers. Here’s the thing. There is an employee there named Bob who did my setup from my American Strat. I have had issues with the Strat for about 10 years and I thought about selling it. I took it to Renown music and Bob got the fret buzz out and also set it up with a very low action. Which I thought was impossible. The intonation was perfect! I was shocked on what a really good setup can do for your guitar. The guitar has never played and sounded so good!

Hey! Just wanted to give a shout out to Brandon Toney of Renown Music in North Little Rock. Took my MusicMan Stingray to Brandon to do a set up. My bass came from the factory in virtually unplayable condition. Brandon was able to adjust the neck, bridge, pickup height, and intonation to put my bass into perfect playing condition with a set of new strings which I provided. And he did all this work in the space of one-hour! He thoroughly explained every adjustment he made on my bass. Brandon clearly has masterful skills when it comes to servicing guitars. And hes a great guy! I was about ready to trade-in my MusicMan but now, after Brandon got his skillful hands on it, you couldnt pry this bass out my clutches for any amount of money! Its a keeper! I highly recommend Brandon to anyone in need of guitar repairs. Thanx Brandon for a job well done!

You can trust Renown with any of your stringed instrument repair needs. The owner is very professional and has many years of experience. I wouldn’t take my guitars or basses anywhere else. They have some great teachers if you are wanting to learn something as well.

Brandon recently repaired the bridge pickup on my dads 70ish Gibson 345 Stereo. He also downsized the large 70ish head stock on my HSS Select Strat. I had contacted Fender to see if they could do the downsizing. They said l could send the guitar and they could put a new neck on, which l didnt want to do.
