John was a pleasure to speak with, had an issue on my way to work at 5am dropped the car off in the lot and left a voicemail, got a call back at 730 before they opened to go over what needed to be done, they started working at 8am and finished quickly. Extremely satisfied with this service shop, I had not been here since 2008 but the level of service and communication was consistent from what I had in the past if not even better now! I have been going to John and the crew at J&K for over 12 years now. We moved out of state about 2 years ago and revolve visits back to the island around bringing the vehicles in for scheduled maintenance intervals. He treats every vehicle like it is his own. There are never any surprises. What he tells you is what you are getting. He has been the only trust worthy mechanic shop I have ever dealt with and it’s a huge sigh of relief when I know I’m in need of repairs that I won’t be held over the fire.

John changed out my Leaking radiator for my 2002 GMC SUV within two (2) hours, my truck was ready to Roll. I found my mechanic and Garage. Their charges are reasonable.

This is the best service station on Long Island. John the owner is the nicest, most thorough, polite, considerate mechanic I have ever known or even heard of. Always calls to ask permission before he does something. Never any hidden charges. Car is never dirty when you get it back. All his guys are very friendly. My ex-husband and I have been going to J&K for almost 17 years. I used to live walking distance away and now i live in Hauppauge and still go to him. A friend of mine comes in from manhattan for oil changes there. And my sister and brother in law moved to Connecticut and still go to J&K for reg oil changes when they visit NY. There are only good things to say about this place. No negatives. I would rate 10 stars if I could.
