GLEN at the customer service desk today, 9/16/21, talked a few minutes over personal issues with a well dressed man (could have been friends) while I waited until they were finished. Oh, he decided to get back to work, so I approached and said I need 5 dollars cash for the water machines (fill jugs) in which Glen said I needed to buy something, so no problem I said I was in a hurry and will take what ever they have here at the customer service.. he showed me the water so and I grabbed the first bottle in the fridge (i was still right there), He immediately started assisting another man for scratch offs, Hey, I thought, what the H just happened here? I was back to waiting for GLEN AGAIN and I thought Ill call him on it, he didnt care-just rolled his eyes and did not acknowledge his rude behavior, he discriminated against me and treated me like I wasnt a customer at all! I wouldnt give this store 1 star after being treated this way by GLEN who favors his expensive looking friends. I shop there all the time for the past 2-3 years, oh I now know he only notices his friends and people that wear their $$$ on the outside.

Ordered subs online, got a phone call 5 minutes before our pick up time stating that because they were out of Publix brand pepperoni that they had to charge us to upgrade to boars head... dont know why thats on us, but fine. Agree to the upcharge for 4 sandwiches but then have to wait another 35 minutes for the sandwiches to be ready for pick up. No apologies for being out of what we ordered, no apologies or explanations about why the wait. I have never shopped at this particular Publix before, but my shopping was not a pleasure. Ive never complained about a store publicly, but this was unacceptable. A simple Im sorry anywhere along the way would have gone a long way. But instead the woman made me feel like it was my fault that they werent available to fulfill my order as ordered and that I needed to pay extra because of it... and then wait another 35 minutes for 2 half subs and 2 whole subs... and still not a Im sorry for the wait or any kind of acknowledgment at all.I will go out of my way to not shop at this Publix again.

Was pleasantly surprised to find items I needed and use regularly listed as buy one get one. Scored on wild salmon that was on sale as well. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Shop there regularly.

First Publix I ever walked into 18 years ago when i moved here. still like walking into this place. Needs a lil remodeling but for the most part clean, and a friendly store

I havent found a Publix I dont like but this store is a bit more expensive then I remember other ones being maybe because its new idk but I wont be shopping there anytime soon!

My husband and I were shopping there today with our daughter and I had accidentally dropped cash on the ground, didn’t realize it until we went to leave. I honestly didn’t even want to check the front to see if someone turned it in, but my husband insisted. TJ I’m the produce department found the money and returned it to the front desk, this absolutely restored my faith in humanity. A BIG thank you to TJ, you’re awesome!

I really wish I caught the ladys name, my 4yro was having a super hard/emotional day even in this store, long story short the lady in the bakery (assuming supervisor) engaged with my kid and gave her a little gift to cheer her up. The act of kindness made my daughter calm and happy which also gave me a better shopping experience so big huge thank you to her!The store is always clean never had anything lower than pleasant experience with employees. I feel bad for sub/deli when its slammed. People are very rude and short with them, yet they maintain professionalism!

Staff are amazing. Store is clean. Been going here for years. Only thing that is a problem is they are always eliminating skews. Skews are items. I have become an online shopper because of the items Publix doesnt carry anymore.Oh! almost forgot.If possible? I would like to suggest. Maybe a quick go over which deli meats have non edible casings. Half the time Im biting into plastic casing when I get home. Its so much easier to remove before slicing. Thank you.

Need more of a variety of products. A coffee bar like the big stores up north would be nice. Makes food shopping more enjoyable.

This seems to be the worst of the stores in North Port it appears mismanaged never enough help for cashing out and baggers, shelves not stocked and the deli is not very good they dont know how to cook chicken unless you like it dry and overcooked. Ill drive by this place from now on and go to another store

Logans preparation of my sub was beyond amazing. The olive count on my sandwich was beyond pristine. I will be coming here for all of my sandwichs.

Publix is thejewel of supermarkets, right?I had a very, very unpleasant experience. Decided to treat myself to seafood. The blond at the seafood counter did not belong there. Got a pound of mussles and a pound of exotic argentinian shrimp. Not so cheap I might add. The counter girl grabbed the mussles by the handful not checking them for freshness. At home I open the mussle bag and out of 20 (twenty) 11 (eleven were halp open. Meaning they were dead. Angry, I opened the shrimp...three were of dubious health, shells hanging from the tails. The esparagus bag had a few slimy heads. The cashier mistook the radish bunch as beets. What a store.I felt cheated, embarrased and angry, speding all that money for rotten merchandise. The manager either does not do his job, does not care or hes a flake.Buyer beware.

This is our favorite Publix. Its nice and clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. But 1/2 of the customers do not wear masks and dont seem to give a damn about anyone else. Very sad. Sanitizer at the front door is often empty.

My cashier Tayla was extremely helpful and was really fun to talk to about meat-free products. Love this Publix!! The store is always super clean + the workers are always very friendly. (As someone that works in customer service this is very important to me.)

Clean, organized market. Everything has a place and everything in its place. I observed detail cleaning of their carts before passed on to their customers. Everyone; associates and customers were wearing their masks. Thank you for a pleasant experience.

Great staff clean store

Very nice and clean. Aisles are marked for customers to follow and keep distances. I just wish more shoppers would wear masks to protect others. I wear mine. Sure no one likes them but they are meant to protect your fellow shoppers. This Covid-19 is serious and we all need to join in and think of the safety of others beside just ourselves. Wearing a mask and not touching your face and hand washing is really very important in this time of our lives.

I like this publix,its not overly large yet has everything the neighboring stores might not.

Dr Joshua who helped me in the pharmacy today was the best. He answered all of my questions and got me out of the pharmacy quickly. I dont like staying inside stores more than is needed because of the virus. I will go back to see them next time I need a refill.

This place is awesome just like every other publix. Great staff that are always friendly, great deals, store is clean and they always have a great selection of items. Even the kids always try to tag along to shop as well i am sure it is partly to do with the fact that they offer free cookies for the kids and the mac and cheese is to die for (or so my kids say:)) My wife takes advantage of the fresh soup every time we enter the store, they always have a few to choose from and they are always high quality. I personally love capitilizing on the wide array of fresh seafood they have to offer.

So dont come here unless you have 6 hours to shop especially if you go to the deli. Im pretty sure when they are interviewing people to work in the deli they only ask one question, how slow can you work. Oh just wait there might be a second question, how bad is your hearing. You would think if you have to pay 9 dollars for 1 oz of cheese they would be fast, no wonder why Aldis is taking over.

Always friendly helpful staff. We try to shop here as much as possible to avoid the big store where everything is out of stock. Keep your eye on the buy one get one free items. If you shop wisely you can save a ton week to week.

Another experience of no cooked chickens until 6pm. 6 of 14 times now. And the cashier couldnt care less

Great store

For some reason this place just cannot cook chicken in the deli. the wings and the rotisserie chickens are just cooked to much and are so dry you cant eat them when you get them home and theyre expensive. Very disappointed again. I guess they only cook them once or twice a day and they set there forever.

Out of most things, bogos are also limited or out, no rainchecks. Finding Aldis & Winn Dixie are better supplied.
