The owner is the friendliest guy around. He spent a lot of time on the phone with me explaining the auction. I had the best time. I purchased a bedroom suite and a lamp. I can not wait for the next auction.

We happened to find Second Chance Home Furnishings, and Mary told us of the auction. What a fun night! We bought several items and found that they were understanding and so easy to work with. Can’t wait to go again!!

We contacted this firm to handle the liquidation of our primary homes furniture, collectables and much more. When the owner came to look at what we had he was very optimistic and out of curiosity we wanted to know what he thought it might bring at the auction as we had brand new furniture as we had purchased it not even a year ago. He estimated it between $8,000 and $10 000 on the conservative side minus his share. We were satisfied that and figured he knew what he was talking about as according to him he had been doing this for over 20 years. I tried explaining some of the memorabilia that I had to him but I think it went in one ear and out the other. I had two original movie posters back from the late forties and when we got our finalized statement he had sold them for $15 and $17 and many more items of value which were auctioned off for nothing close to value. Obviously he had not listened to my explanations when they picked up our belongings. Many other things he said would bring good dollars were auctioned off for pennies on the dollar. To make a long story short be aware of what they promise you once they are in possession of your belongings all bets are off. Never returned our phone calls until weeks after the auction to tell us that he wished be had gotten our items a couple of months earlier as there werent any furniture dealers at the auction this time of year. He should have known this to begin with and maybe waited with our belongings. I knew as soon as be told us that there was bad news to follow. I understand it is an auction and items go to the highest bidder but when you have things that are valuable you start the bidding at what you think the item is valued at or just below not at one dollar. We ended up not even getting a third of his initial estimate. Very disappointed with them and would caution anyone contemplating using these folks be careful of promises that are made. I would not recommend this business and have filed with the better business bureau a report. Again I understand it was an auction.

We are downsizing from a house to a smaller condo and found ourselves with more furniture and “stuff” than we would have room for. Friends suggested talking to Mary at 2nd Chance Home Furnishings. After looking at pictures of our surplus furniture she said she would be interested in some of our pieces and that her husband Ray could sell everything else at his Auction house. Mary and Ray came to our home so Mary could see what pieces she wanted for the store and Ray assured us he could sell the rest at auction. Ray and his team arrived a few days later to pick up all the items. Ray brought us a check for the proceeds of the auction and we are very pleased with the results. We will not hesitate to recommend West Coast Auction Company and 2nd Chance Home Furnishings. Both are honest, reliable, and top notch!

What a great way to spend a Friday evening. Enjoyed the hot dogs and the cheeseburger. The auction itself is a whole lot of fun. Great items for sale.

Every Friday, their auctions have a vast and diverse collection of items to bid on. Parking lot is always full so get there early! It is family run, and always someone to be found to answer questions. They have a grill that offers hamburgs, hotdogs, and canned sodas.Ray and Brian are fantastic at what they do. If you have a full estate to sell or just your old baseball cards, give them a call and see if they can help you make some money out of your extras.Be warned, they dont accept or sell junk.

This is a very honest auction house to come to. Very professional and Christian company. Everyone that works here is so nice and helpful. Very upscale items is what they have. They also have a lot of people that attend, so if you are looking to get rid of some of your items this is definitely the auction you want to use.

Items submitted for auction were in the next Friday auction, were sold and we received a check in the mail the following Tuesday or Wednesday--amazing turn around of items and payment. Cleanest auction house Ive ever been in--friendly staff--will use again!

I have been going here for quite a while and I think they are very honest and trustworthy! Some times people are so busy talking that they dont pay attention and end up bidding on the wrong item. To my knowledge they have never misrepresented any item and always make items available for examination before the auction begins.

This is a Great place to find Anything and Everything, ever week they have different things. If your looking for steaks and deals this is the place. Very Professional and a great experience.

Not Happy with this Auction Company at all. Lies, Over Looks you, unless youre Part of his everyday High Rollers. Very Deceiving. Says one thing that your Bidding on, next thing you know you end up having to pay for something else that you werent even Bidding on. Ray says no your Paying for it. Sells items says there Ethentic but there not. Lies, Lies, Lies. I will never Recommend your Company ever. I stood right in front of you, threw my hand up you looked over me to the lady that was Shorter than me. I gotcha game. Well you just lost Business and other Customers.

Drove down from Sarasota. Auctioneer moves quickly. Wide variety of merchandise and some great bargains.

They were excellent! Met owner & employees who assisted with entire process of clearing estate. They were professional, friendly, family oriented and responsive. I would gladly recommend anyone to work with them.

No telling how much more could have been made as a team.  ( We had all to gain & nothing to lose!)  He was very disrespectful, inconsiderate and treated us like he owed us nothing once he got the collection in his possession. We will take the rest elsewhere.

Relatives of the host auction are sitting in the front row, mom, dad, and as I understand it, the owner’s wife or sister, the lady gives her hand to the presenter about interesting lots that they hold to the end so that there are fewer people. And the leader sits very much and the lot is combined with a trifle. As was the case in our case, silver spoons were sold with jewelry in a heap for $ 25, arent you laughing ??? And coming up to displace as it happened, I saw that there were manipulations with the hand. And after that, immediately the boats migrated to the office out of sight and the jewelry remained with his preobatilya. Auction bordering on fraud !!!This auction is one fiction!
