Horrible customer service!!! Tried to tell me I was tricking the system into giving my order free wine coolers of all things. On the phone I was told I can come in to pick up my order but maybe because I don’t apparently sound the same as my skin tone I didn’t get treated with the same respect. I was also told they would call police on me because I was told to pay cash for my order and I had the cash to pay. Definitely NOT EVER BUYING AGAIN!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I’m an usual customer at this place. So today I stop there to get some wines. And once I approach to the register the old lady a the register ask me for my ID. When I gave her my identification. She call 3 EMPLOYEES to verify, like wth! So I look like a criminal o just because I’m latino!They told her it my ID was good. She kept holding my ID saying that you guys don’t accept that. when I had buy many time at you stores. I felt embarrassed I’m 25 years old and I never been in a such bad situation like this.I hope you can hire qualified staff to work with customer.

I absolutely loved the staff more than the content itself! Every time I came, I was greeted and a couple of times I had quite a load so to speak and someone would help me bring a couple of boxes outside rather than just stare at me👍

Was a good spot for craft beers now I only visit as a last resort and cause its close to home. If not for the cheers rewards card I probably wouldnt stop here.

We order from this place quite often with Drizly and since Drizly only allows for reviewing the beverages and not the business, we thought we would leave a review here! Whenever we order off the app and theyre out of stock of the product, they always make a point to call us and make a recommendation. More often than not, their recommendation is better that what we originally ordered and we discovered many new favorites this way! Thanks guys!

Worst prices on whiskey in the area. Buffalo Trace $52, that’s $20 more than anywhere else. Won’t buy any of my bourbon here.

FIRST AND LAST TIME HERE. RUDE! My friends and I walked into this establishment today (four of us) all in our late twenties. Upon checking out, the woman that had a resemblance to Carol Baskin, yelled at us because she wanted all of us to check out at the same register. When we handed over our IDs, we were scolded because one of our friends walked out and he had to be there in order to buy alcohol. Meanwhile we all handed our IDs while he went to grab his. One of our friends ID rang up on their scanner without an expiration date. They thought it might be a fake. Making a whole scene about it. Since our one friend had gone home to get his ID we decided to wait around for him in one of the aisles. The Carol Baskin looking lady, kept looking at us as if we were misbehaving. She proceeds to send one of her employees to check on us. This was unnecessary because we had already told this employee we were waiting for our one friend to go get his ID at home.

My Girlfriend ordered from Drizly and they told her on the phone she could pick up the order. However when she got there they tried to say she was lying and wouldn’t give her her order. Disgusting attitude from the older cashier.

Really friendly people there every time I go. The person who I believe to be the manager asked if I needed anything and helped me find a particular bottle of wine. Damn good selection of beer, local and imports, as well as a good collection of hard liquors. I usually go here because the parking lot is easy to access and the wait is never long. Occasionally they will have a person greeting you at the door offering some kind of drink or another which is nice.Prices seem normal for a liquor store.

I only rate and write reviews when service is exceptionally good or bad in this case, exceptionally bad. I came from the Mineral Spring Ave. location about five minutes ago. While there, I found what I needed without any problems but when It came to purchasing my items, I was at a loss. I lined up like I normally would and when it was my turn to make my purchase, the young cashier with glasses and curly brown hair had an attitude. This is what made me write the review and rate the establishment; She pulled out a brown bag for what definitely would not fit in one and I casually said to her oh no it doesnt need a bag, she then responded I still need you to do what I asked you to I suppose she was referring to pressing the green button on the credit/debit card machine but I didnt hear her even ask me to the first time but besides, I personally feel that there is a better way to ask a customer to press the green button. Her poor attitude completely caught me by surprise. Ive worked in customer service for years and I must say that her way of handling the situation was very unprofessional. I will still shop at this establishment because they have a great selection but if I see her at the register, I will ask for another associate and if asked why, I will state todays poor service.

Store manager was extremely rude to me when trying to use samsung pay in their store. Was fine with using another form of payment but she excused me of buying for a minor and committing fraud while showing her all the forms of id to prove it was my card.

Recently Ive been coming here less often, visiting other liquor stores. Prices are higher than others around the area, for certain liquors. I live out out state and have been here off and on because of my gf, so I have a license from another state. A few weeks ago they thought my ID was fake, which makes no sense its literally a state drivers licence I got when I was 17. I do look younger than 21 but I have multiple IDs and my car license matches the state Im from. I went here today since its right next to the pet store (my gf had to buy a waterbottle for our hamster.) The girl at the cashier told me my ID was fake and they said they expire every 10 years, ect... Ive seen many different state IDs (used to work at a casino) and you cant just base it off one state law. She even told me fake IDs can get past the scanner. All useless information for a paying customer with a real ID, (and for real who even uses fake IDs, kids would just get liquor from somewhere else.) She even asked the manager, then they flat out denied selling to me. So I went down the street to the closest liquor store, and bought the 2 cinnamon whiskey shots I wanted. With this happening more than once coming to Douglas Wines, I am never coming to this store again. Its always the blond cashiers this happens with, you can tell theyre there just for looks, dumb as bricks.
