I had a check engine light and no other mechanic could figure it out. I didnt know I had a local Volkswagen specialist and I am so grateful that someone told me because he showed me exactly what was wrong, fixed it for a reasonable price and I got my car back the same day. I had a great experience there and I would recommend to anyone with a Volkswagen or Audi to go here.

I didnt end up buying a car from them because I found the same vehicle, just younger, elsewhere. But they offered a great deal and talked me through both cars actually and had positive things to say about the car I ended up buying. That speaks to integrity and professionalism that we all hope to find when we shop for used cars. Though I didnt end up buying from them this time around, when I look for my next used car, I will definitely be giving these folks a call.

Bought a car from them and it was only a few days before the check engine light came on! That wasn’t the worst part. It stalled but started right up again. It was dangerous because it stalled after applying the brake. It stalled once after trying to cross lanes in to seven eleven and nearly caused an accident. I tried to contact them multiple times and the times I did reach someone, she said she was going to get back to me after she spoke to the mechanic. No contact from them. Sent emails, called and left messages. No response. The license plate light was never connected and I got an $86 ticket. I paid $3000 for it when it shouldn’t even have left the lot. I am not angry with them, I just would like you to know my story seeing I have bought 2 cars and both were not worth the amount spent.

This is a great place to buy a car when you are starting out or on a budget I purchased a 2009 Subaru forester in October of 2019. Couldnt be more happy with this hidden gem. Every car comes with a car-fax report so you as a buyer could make a fair and even decision when it comes to purchase from them. Yes they will not be perfect, though the cars will get you from a-b. Ie. With the Forester, the back speakers are blown, and I had to buy new tires because all four did not match, and every one knows, that tires have to match on a all-wheel drive vehicle. With that in mind the car is getting back and forth to school in a safe and reliable car, so thank you B & B Auto Sales.

This review is way overdue. I purchased a Subaru in August of 2013 for under 2,000 dollars. I was right out of the grad school, after making a cross country move. I explained my life situation to the owners of B & B. Though I qualified for a more expensive automobile, they gave me the honest opinion that perhaps I should buy a car that I could pay cash for. I really appreciated their honesty and salesmanship! Paul was completely honest about the wear and tear on the car I bought, which was 20 years old, and the risk I might be taking. I decided to purchase the car, who has so far served me very well. I expect that she will last at least 3-4 years more. Paul also helped me get the car titled in Rhode Island through their courier service. I would HIGHLY recommend visiting B & B if you are considering buying a used car. They even gave my partner some of their lunch, both times we visited. Awesome service, kindness, trust, and free pizza - what more could you ask for?

Was a nice lady. But pictures on their website did not show the dented passenger side and scratched up left side. Opened trunk would not stay open the arms were broken and the trunk had all kinds of duct tape holding up the keyhole area in the trunk offered her 2200 cash and was told they dont budge on prices. Asking 2499 !! And why doesnt the owners ever comment on the bad reviews from customers? Shady!!

A friend told about this place. Well, Im dumb founded. Im looking for a car. Not a HOT MESS. FIRST I want a car from grieco Toyota Not a car who as I read the reviews were a nightmare 😳. People buy them with no inspection sticker. They claim they do 100 whatever point check . Well if that was the case it should have inspection sticker. Some man bought a car went up the street and engine light came on. He went back, apparently it was he problem now. Wow!!!!!!!!! From his story he spent 3,000 dollars to repair what was supposed to be a great running car. Just goes to show you, be very aware of shady dealer. Update. Just got a response from owner not a very nice person. Guess all the reviews are lies. Beware folks.

Bought 2003 Suburu for 1200. First day bought gas and engine light went on. Next day tried changing oil and was so rotted could not get cap off no matter what tool was used. A long time since anyone tried changing oil. A few days later overheated and head gasket problem. Called and was told they would let owner know. I know it wasnt a lot of money but it was like throwing 1200 out the window. Would NOT recommend to anyoneAndy and Linda Noonan

I bought a car here, paid cash. The car was much lower priced than book value and I did ask about it and they said it was only because the car had not sold in a few months and they wanted it to move. Well, I fell for it. I bought it, expressed that I will be making a road trip with it the following day. Beverly had had a talk to me about RI not having any lemon law (bullcrap), there being no warranty, no refunds, no repairs, or anything after I drive away. They also stated that the car had passed inspection but that they do not do the inspection themselves. Well, I didnt even make it 2 miles up the road when the Check Engine light came on for an intake leak and the car running lean (will not pass emissions inspection), further up the road the car stalled and the check engine light was flashing (the code claims it needs a $500 throttle body and $285 throttle sensor). Well that is not 3 things that cause this car to not pass inspection. I finally got the car to start to limp home with it but once on the highway I found a amazing loud humming sound that was louder than a rock concert! The drive shaft has a carrier bearing that is completely blown out and allowing the driveshaft to flap around. This is a MAJOR safety hazard that could even suddenly flip the car over while driving down the road. This is also a $3000 repair, parts and labor. I paid $3000 for the car but so far it seems it will require about $5000 in parts and labor to correctly pass the RI Safety and Emissions testing.Essentially, this place will try to rob you. Dont trust their inspection station, dont trust what they tell you and especially dont pay with cash, use a finance company or make sure they put a 30 day warranty on it.I personally am going to keep this car, Im going to pay for the repairs and go after them and their inspection station for the repairs. Already spoke to and enacted an attorney on this case, I just have to get all the repairs done to see what the total costs are to make it safe for the road.

I got a great deal on a 2013 Jetta here. The car was fully inspected by an independent mechanic and it came with a great warrantee. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable and welcome. They even took care of the VIN.

For a small used car lot. The people are big in help. I would buy all my cars at B&B. They worked with me until I was able to drive a new used car.

Very nice staff but the vehicle I bought here for 2,500$ has benn back to them once with no start issue given back to me running and died again 2 weeks later. So I started troubleshooting and have done just about everything to it still dead. Been in my driveway 3 months now. they have always offered help but towing there from where I am is 150$ . And helpful or not I shouldnt spend that much and have a dead car I bought a car 4 years ago for 700 and still runs great. Really know what your buying before you do . Thats my honest opinion. Im gonna hope theyll stick by me and help I paid cash for my car and would of been a great customer sad to say weather they fix it or not I will not return any business of mine here. Dont end up with a lemon like I did. Regardless if they fix it or not its a lemon.

If I could choose a lower rating, I would. I got a car from this place and got a loan on it and have had nothing but PROBLEMS. I wish I never got this loan on the damn thing because I have paid more money in repairs than I have on my monthly payments put together. I bought 2001 Hyundai Elantra a few months back. NO problems at all. Its very reliable. Even though i needed to fill it up because it was on E and needed fluids.. Just very little minor irrating issue. but it is a very solid car. Def buy there again

Purchased a volvo back in december literally lasted a week before i decided to junk it . Stay away from this dealer . I was told the car had no issues and passed inspection on their end . A few days after i left the dealer and on my way to work car started making a weird noise under the hood and the check engine light came on . I should of trusted my gut feeling on purchasing a 2003 volvo for $1250 smh . Never again will i fall for the trap this dealer has towards “clients” . Thank you for making me realize not to trust shady 3rd party dealers and go directly to volvo .

I was in very recently in need of a vehicle on a budget and after several failed craigslist deals I started looking around yelp for good dealers. B & B looked really good with many 5 star reviews and satisfied customers. I started poking around their online listed inventory and found several nice looking Saabs within or just above my budget.Today I came by to look at the Saabs I had found online and was greeted by Todd who replied to an email I sent prior to coming. At first I had only asked for the keys, but he had their dealer plate already screwed on, engine running and invited me to drive it to get a feel. He also pointed out that the right rear window regulator was planned to be replaced but had not yet arrived and would be installed when it came. After driving it down the road and back, this wasnt the one for me. Then a 06 Saab wagon (which I had also seen online) which I thought I wasnt going to be into because of the mileage really caught my attention. The exterior and interior were very clean and the car drove well. Under the hood there was not 1 drop of leaked coolant or oil to be seen and looked to be taken very good care of.Upon returning, I knew this was the one. So I went back inside and we spoke to the owner (Paul) who without question accepted a lower offer. Going through the paperwork Todd was very patient, explained what everything was and allowed the use of their fax machine to receive proof of insurance. He even also suggested something that might legally get me out of paying the sales tax.So in the end, I spent a little more that I was hoping to but dove off in a vehicle that I am very happy with. And he also said that I could call him anytime for the next 30 days if I have any problems.In short, this is simply a great dealership with great people that want you to be in the right vehicle for you. Very highly recommended and worth the trip!

Beautiful car..Theres a CARFAX with every vehicle.. a 90 Day third party Warranty, and prices are Firm. And worth it.. Bertha is outside as I write this.I gave my barber one of their cards a week later, and just today (11/18) I emailed a family member about another Lesabre on the lot...I plan on having Bertha for a long time.. Amazing and trustworthy. I waited 6 months until i wrote this to make sure. Everything they said was true and when they needed to fix the brakes on the car i bought they went above and beyond. Not just putting pads on which probably would of done the trick but new rotors as well. I brought a mechanic with me and every car we looked at he was surpirsed in the shape of them. The car i bought was a 2001 honda. Just took it to see family in Atlanta from RI and it only cost me 65$ in gas. I know hard to believe suprised the stuffing out of me as well. Every car can have problems take someone who knows what they are looking at and i promise you you will find an amazing car at a great price. The owner and the salesmen and mechanic are not pushy and its not just a pitch they are putting up. Very easy to deal with. Just couldnt be happier with B and B auto sales. Thank you again to everyone who works there!!!!
