Best gym I have join by far! Super clean facility and awesome parking space. Friendly environment and safe. Staff is so knowledgeable and friendly… always positive attitude and I’m always greeted it with a smile from whoever is at the front desk. Gym manager goes out her way to help you and ALWAYS so attentive to what you have to say and is always ready to help. Assistant manager is always making sure everything run smoothly and every club members feels safe. From the gym manager to the lady that clean … everyone is superb at what they do. I can’t say enough about this place. Definitely a definition and result of perfect management. Ohhh and don’t miss the spinning clases on Thursdays with John! The best 👍🏼 from Shannon, Philips, Luis, John, Andrew the entire staff gets a 10 from me!!!

The team is extremely nice !! Shannon, Louis and John are the one I interact with. They are very friendly and pleasant to talk to. They always greet you with a motivating or kind word when you come in. They are always maintaining the place clean. I left planet fitness 2 minutes from my home and drive 20 min to Youfit because of the people working there and of course tte great ambiance .

Went for about 4 years because it was nearby. Unfortunately, there’s not much good to say about it other than the hours being better than *some* other gyms.The mirrors usually have saliva on them from when people breath heavy while squatting, people always dead lift in front of the squat rack, nobody puts weights back, it doesn’t have enough equipment for the amount of people that visit the gym (except sometimes when it’s not busy), there’s always dudes yelling really loud in there and not respecting other people.The employees just do their job which is great, but a lot of other gyms have much better service and some provide it at a lower cost.Update - June 18, 2021 : Although I did experience Youfit 4 years ago, I have gone to Youfit *for 4 years*, my last time being towards the end of 2020. The last time I went was a months ago, not years ago. I stopped going because they closed the gym, but continued to charge my membership. I went to another gym who let me pause my membership or compensates in the case of any lock downs or closings.

I joined You Fit pre Covid. Took senior classes which were ok. Also signed up for personal training. When Covid hit and the gym closed, they didn’t charge me but when it opened partially, no classes or training, I was charged the total price anyway. Charged for training when they didn’t offer it. I noticed and complained. Was told my contract was with the gym not with the trainer (my trainer had also left the gym)Contacting corporate is impossible, one phone number kicks you back to your own gym..no emails answered, even ones the local manager said she sent. Not in spam or my box. They continued charging me $160 a month. I had 11 training sessions someone could give me when training returned. If I disputed the charges I couldn’t get the training and same if I canceled my membership. So I took the 11 sessions. 30 min each. Ok. Then kept membership because it’s pretty cheap, roomy and clean. Actually haven’t been back. I will go ride a bike if they remain open. Got a legal notice about bankruptcy today. Their corporate policies are greedy. During Pandemic, a senior citizen charged for programs not offered and no attempt to refund. When I finally got a call from a FL executive I told her the same. Read the fine print people.

Scammers. Even after you cancel your membership they will call and tell you that you owe them money. Even after going in person and showing them proof of your cancellation! Avoid this place and get fit somewhere else. I’ve been a member at other gyms and never had an issue after canceling my membership.

They charge for services not used during the pandemic. I’m still trying to resolve an issue with them sending me to collections when the pandemic began, I was still charged when I never received any notification about the gym. After I spoke to a manger and was told it was taken care of I decided to go back just to start receiving calls in regards to the collection. Now I’m also been slammed with late charges and monthly fees when the gym was closed once again because of new restrictions. I called the office only to get someone very rude on the phone who had no desired to help.The worst experience ever concerning management and customer service

Kept very clean, but maintenance of cardio machines leaves a lot to be desired. Had to get on 3 different treadmills before I found one that completely worked this morning.

Terrible customer service. When Covid 19 hit and the gym was closed, they continued to Bill my checking account. When I finally caught on, I was told I had to write an email to mike the manager of this location to get a refund. Upon emailing mike I was told I was not eligible for a refund but that my account would be frozen and two credits added for the months I had been charged. I was agreeable with this. Apparently they opened back up and didn’t start charging people until last month ( August) when they charged people for two months. Then again they charged last week for for another month. They charged me for the full price of membership with classes when they have not yet resumed classes. This is unfair. When I went into the branch to inquire about a refund they said they would not refund only credit for the months they reopened and they would freeze my account. My account was already supposed to be frozen since I pay for classes and classes have not yet resumed. I was told my account would stay frozen over the phone by mike until classes had resumed. At this point I was understandably upset and ready to cancel. Although I had been a member at the gym for many years mike did not seem to want to work with me to keep me as a member and even ended up charging me a cancellation fee on top of not refunding me the money I was owed. I would avoid this gym at all costs because they seem to scam money from customers whatever way they can. General membership without classes is not worth it because many of the machines are down most of the time and you’re unable to use them anyway. This gym is often dingy and dusty and out of paper towel. I’m going to sign up at planet fitness on mineral spring tomorrow. It’s right down the street from youfit and much cleaner with classes and tons of machines that are much newer.

Horrible service, poor communication, and rude general manager. I was treated so poorly. Although I had not used their services since March they began charging me again in August. Scammers. Spoke to a manager about canceling when I graduated college in 2018 - they now call me monthly saying theyre offering a balance forgiveness program if I sign back up. For what reason would I owe money if I canceled after paying each month on time? Stay clear, Planet Fitness is ran much more professionally, Im surprised You Fit is still in business with their rude employees and shady practices.

Don’t join this gym worst front desk service and even worse management service, besides arguing with customers, the gym is dirty, ghetto, the will charge you fees even when they close the facilities for months with out communicating with their customers. Worse gym I ever went to in my life!!!!

I joined this YouFit when my wife and I got married a couple of years ago because she was already a member. I really liked the free weight area although I did wish they had more Smith machines and power racks. The gym is kept clean generally speaking but there were times when they ran out of paper towels. When the shutdown began in March YouFit continued to charge us for our membership and when we called to find out why we were given a story about how the money was being used for employee benefits. Serious lack of communication from YouFit. We’re also members at Planet Fitness on Mineral Spring Ave. When the shutdown started they emailed us they were freezing our memberships until further notice and would let us know when they were going to reopen. YouFit did give us credit for the time out but why such a hassle? My wife and I decided to cancel our memberships because we may be moving out of the area. When we went there yesterday to do that we actually told the young lady working there that we may rejoin if we stay in North Providence to which she replied that we were being charged to cancel.Needless to say we won’t be rejoining YouFit. They appear to only care about the money. Very, very unprofessional! Very careless! There are better gyms out there.

I was a member of this gym for about two years when it first opened in North Providence. I’ve visited the Florida you fit as well. The difference between this you fit in the Florida you fit is The parking lot and the size of the establishment. In Florida they are all in plazas in a well lit parking lot and plenty of parking. In North Providence much smaller gyms in a compact plaza which is not well lit at night. They do keep the gym very clean and that’s a plus. Especially for people who have allergies. There’s only one exercise room and that sucks, not much variety there. You can compare it to a WOW gym without a woman’s area and without a daycare.

Ive been going to this gym for a month I must say I love it very clean and friendly staff. I go at different times its crowded sometimes but always machines available for me to use for my workouts. Cant complain for the price I just wish they had an area if you have kids and cant find a sitter while you without. Overall I would recommend Youfit.

Is a bit pricy compared to some gyms but not astronomically. They have a lot of diverse equipment and very useful organization. If I could I would keep coming here.

The staff is always smiling, positive and helpful. The group classes are great. The wide range of hours is helpful too!

To all members being charged for services they cannot use because YOUFIT is closed, are you upset ? When was the last time your job paid you for not coming to work? I have tried to reach Youfit by phone and email to address the charges but no response. I ask myself how is this legal . I am very disappointed in any business that treats customers like this and you should too. I understand the amount is only 22.dollars a month but can I ask you, when did you ask for a drink from the cooler and they said dont worry about it ? I would like to add up all those 22 dollars a month from all of us, maybe 1000 members at the No. Providence Club times 22 dollars a month, looks like were paying YouFit to not provide us with service. How many months have you contributed, 2 mabe 3. and when will the charges end? Demand a credit dont be a fool, how long will we pay for services we cannot use . Fitness clubs will be one of last to open, think about all of the body contact with the equipment. Thank You

Best gym I have ever been too. I recently canceled my membership but it was only due to babysitting issues. I did speak with someone who mentioned that they are looking into opening other locations and may offer babysitting. Other than that this is the cleanest gym I ever stepped a foot in. Customer service is great and everyone is just so welcoming. The classes are amazing. I still give them a 5!

This place has been closed for almost 2 months and they have the audacity to continue charging people in a pandemic. Had to put a permanent stop payment through my bank... recommend others do, too.UPDATE (12Aug2020): Got a call last week from this location telling me theyre open again. Awesome! What enhanced protocols have you adopted? They tell me people must wear masks... except on the exercise floor. Doesnt that defeat the whole purpose? You can look them up on social media -- nobodys wearing a mask in the workout area. Nice. I told them Ill wait until the pandemic cools down or people start taking it seriously before I return. Sounds like YouFit wants YouSick.Then I got a call yesterday from their internal collections. Maybe theyre upset I didnt come back right away? They tell me I have a past-due balance. Thats right, that would be the amount you attempted charging me AFTER you closed. I got the payment reversed through my bank and put a stop-payment on all subsequent charges. They tell me I can return or cancel, but if I want to cancel, I have to give 10 days notice and pay past dues, including the unauthorized charge, the current months charge, a new annual fee, and I may incur an additional months charge while waiting the 10 days. LOL?! Im not paying you all that just to NOT go. Who gave me 10 days notice you would close AND try to charge me? How many hundreds of other members did you try charging? Smells like class action to me. They told me I entered into an agreement. I pointed out: thats right! So did YouFit -- they agreed to render a service; however, they tried charging me despite not providing that service. She had no response.Some other reviewer thought they were clever to suggest staff are giving out free drinks to members. Ive never gotten a free anything! Either staff thought you were cute and didnt tell you they paid for your drink, or the franchise owner would be very displeased to learn staff are undermining the business.I actually was going to return once things cooled down. You know what they say about adversity revealing your character -- YouFit has demonstrated poor character and business ethics. Patrons: Consider carefully to whom you give your business.

This gym charged me even though it was closed for 3 months... I spoke with someone there and was told to keep in mind theyre still paying the employees SMH.. I asked for a corporate number and was told they dont have one and to reach out to the manager, AGAIN..

Please be careful and dont get lured into signing contracts for personal training. The contract terms are not transparent and you will end up having recurring payments unless you are really careful and check your bank accounts regularly. I feel like I was scammed into signing the contract. I really hope no one else falls pray to the scam. If you really want my money, you should have asked for it. I specifically mentioned that I have a kid to feed and cant afford to pay every month and the person who sold me the contract offered me a short term commitment. But I ended up getting charged for several months after that. No mercy at all. Contacting the club for refund didnt work. I am helpless now and I hope this review will provide some help to get my hard earned money back.

Youfit is a health club that is mostly located in Florida and places not generally local to the Northeast, of which some other gyms have a larger foothold geographically. The brand has thought about making more of a presence in the Northeast, and they have a particular set of strengths from many other gyms that offer the $10-20/month membership fee.#1 is the cardio equipment. Many of the machines offer a fan that is really helpful in keeping me cool while I use the cardio equipment. Another plus is the fact that they have more than one rowing machine with a dedicated spot to use it. A lot of the other low cost membership gyms tend to hide their rowing machines in random places. Youfit has a dedicated space for them.#2 is their commitment to environmental excellence. The environment of the gym is friendly and open, especially the one in North Providence. The gym is open and you can see if one machine is being used from the other side of the gym, allowing you to plan ahead if you dont want to wait for something. The gym also benefits from educating about their low-impact sustainable business solutions, which I value as a person with some hippie tendencies.A couple of drawbacks is that they do purchase membership lists from closing gyms, and tend to be busy, so check your Google Maps list to find out if they are crowded at a particular time. Another drawback might be that some of the kids that go there still arent fully aware of gym etiquette, but most of the people are friendly and welcoming.Hope you enjoy it!

Ive been and active gym goer for 10 plus years and have been to all the major gyms. The locker rooms here always have a musky smell and are small. Leg equipment is limited. the prone leg curl broke and is now removed. They could definitely clean better here. I took my business to LA fitness

Came back and was told I canceled the training ( never had it ) so as slow as I could so they could understand I said I would like to cancel my membership . Well that was another 10$ fee. Super staff. Exceptionally clean. Lots of variety of equipment options and classes. Im floored to see complaints in the reviews about lack of equipment and crowding. Ive never had to wait for anything. Great hours during the week. Ive asked for more beginners classes as the existing ones are too hard for me, but I am an outlier on the spectrum of typical users. I have experience many friendly members in the last couple years.The gym and its equipment have been clean and in working condition each time I have been working out. If I have a problem, there is always someone to help me.

Nate is super friendly and very helpful with all fitness and membership related questions. I love the range of classes they have and the fact that they offer personal training. The equipment is always clean and tidy. I had been a member of Planet Fitness before joining YouFit and I prefer YouFit by miles. The vibe is much more welcoming and I feel like I would reach my fitness goals faster utilizing the tools that YouFit offers versus any other gym.

Its very busy at night and they have only 3 benches one flat and two adjustable its been like that over a month. When equipment breaks it takes over a month to get repaired, also its difficult to get a locker, most have a jacket in them so you have to leave your stuff on the top of the lockers

They do a good job keeping the equipment clean but the locker rooms are another story. They need more lockers and coat hooks. Go during non peak hours.

Gym is nice and big. The reason I am giving it 2 stars is because they have little bugs flying around the shower, I got bit by one on my chest and it smells like feet in the locker room. I did mention it to a staff member about a month ago and nothing was done. Other than that the gym has everything you need and great staff!

Now I understand because of the Monday being Memorial Day Hrs of operation do not run the same but here it is Tuesday regular business Hrs open up at 5am no one was there to open which left everyone outside waiting I could only wait for so long so I left And also this happened a few time already totally unacceptable

Call to cancelled. Was never told they charge $10 for cancellation. I called 7 days before bill was due. All I was ask to come sign a paper. The person whom I spoke on the phone did not cancelled me I was charged my monthly fee plus they want $10 for cancellation. Who charges cancellation fees.

Nice equipment, but I could never get the machines I wanted because there were so many people. Its way too crowded there. I quit and went to Anytime Fitness after 2 months.

This gym will keep charging you even if you cancel your membership. Went back there 3 times to complaint why the keep charging me and went I getting my money back and get the same answers. Is cancel wait two weeks for your refund. This is a scam. Keep your membership form with you went you cancel and dont let them take it. I ask to speak with the manager he just seat on his office look out the window just stay there dont even bother to come out.

Lots of problems here with you signing up and then they later come out with better plans, like yearly for $118, while you are paying more. After that, many tell horror stories how charges keep coming from your bank account! We run a review platform, so I should have known better. Always do your review search first, you will learn a lot from it and a lot of it is true.I only went a few times and last time half the running machines were out, no sign, and the maintenance men (one was in training) acted like I should have known, rather rude. Well, I wanted the yearly plan and like bait & switch, they dont want yearly, thats just to get you in their place, what they want is to draw money direct out of your bank account! What scares me on the reviews, its hard to stop the automatic deductions, even after you quit in person.

This gym gets way too overcrowded and since they dont have an adequate amount of equipment for the crowd that is there, we end up fighting over equipment or you cant do a full workout . I find myself doing half a workout frequently because of the overcrowding. I would happily pay a little more for less overcrowding. Time to find a real gym.

Nothing will ever beat the old golds gym that was there and I understand that. That aside, this corporation has some of the worst policies around. They are cut throats and treat their employees very poorly. Myself and numerous others have had more money taken from our accounts than what was told to us and after going there to cancel my membership TWICE I had to go to my bank and have them put a hold on it because they kept taking my money. The parking lot is a nightmare, they have way too many cardio machines that never fill up, that space could be used much more efficiently. Their classes are a joke, trainers are not professional at all. My wife said one of the trainers started crying and left in the middle of class. Find another gym folks

Scam artists, I hired a personal trainer, the keep charging my account. Never asked for a doctors note when they were taking my money, as I soon that I tell them that I injured my back 3yrs ahí, they want a doctors note. They don’t want to train me and they have money for me. I’m calling the media for them

This is just as bad as planet fitness overall. Youfit was started be the original co owner of planet fitness who split up from the other co owner and started youfit in an attempt to run planet fitness out of business. Both equally suck. Find a local gym folks, these chain gyms are cheap, cut throats, greedy emotional corporate scum who want nothing but your wallet

I think this is a great gym but im giving it a 4 star because it is way too over crowded after 5pm and now i go a lot earlier.other than that its good to go!

This is my favorite gym Ive been to. They keep it really clean all the time. Theres usually a worker cleaning whenever you get in. They are very hospitable and help out as much as possible. There is a great selection of cardio machines, and lots of different muscle workout machines. Even when its crowded you usually can get a spot on the machine you want without waiting forever. They have classes almost every day of the week in a variety of things (free for lime card members!) and they also have Zumba. I love youfit. Im going to kiss it here when I move away.

SCAM or just bad business practices, YouFit wrings money out of you. You sign a pad with no visible details of what you are signing (foolish us), the employee then is supposed to go over the signed printed agreement. I did not hear him say there is a $40 annual member fee on top of the $10 monthly. On top of that, we have to pay to cancel the contract. I did so on Jan 24, the day I got the statement showing the new member charge, but was told that it was less than 10 days from the NEXT billing cycle (Feb 2). That it is exactly 10 days 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 1 and 2. I was told I will see a monthly charge on Feb. 2, even though at sign-up I paid first and last months fee. Will say tho, staff member was polite.

Barbells, flat benches, incline benches, kettlebells, dumbbells, squat racks, pull up bars, machines for bent over rows, hamstring curls, leg extensions and a seated calf raise machine. But its missing a decline bench for barbells, the leg press machine is lacking in total weight it can hold but you can switch to one legged presses, same for hamstring curls but the weight is much more challenging for now, and there is no standing calf raise machine. As for cardio, they have treadmills, spin bikes, and a row machine. There is no versaclimber, mentioning it because I would love to find a gym that has one.

Cancelled my contract but somehow they keeping billing me 22 dollars. Called and asked why they are billing me three months after Ive cancelled my contract, they gave me a refund but said its going to take 14 days to come back into my bank account. Dont join unless you want them stealing you money when you dont even belong there anymore.

Clean and staff is so nice

You get what you pay for. They dont have ab wheels, so I brought my own and was told i wasnt allowed to bring in outside equipment. Youfit policy. Told the same over my weight vest and ankle weights. Ridiculous. Have never had this issue at any other gym
