Absolutely electric retail store situated on Rt 28 In the center of the bustling metropolis of North Reading Massachusetts. Upon entering the store you will be greeted by warm and welcoming elder citizens/Highschoolers. Make sure to check out the gardening section as deals are to be found there on the daily! (Also; The rug section is regarded as one of the most well organized displays in the Greater Boston Area-courtesy of former employee who shall not be named) A charismatic young man such as the boy with the extensive afro (who has served me wonderfully at a nearby subway establishment in the past) or possibly the kind reserved man with the long beard (Highschool Buddy) or any other jolly old associate will be sure to help you with all you may need. In conclusion NR OSJL is one of a kind, one stop shop, store with a real history for all your discounted needs ;be sure to stop in!

This store is such a hidden GEM!!! everyone works here is so nice and helpful! I was in such a rush but they all were so kind and nice to help me find what I need!!!! What a great experience!! Definitely recommend to everyone!

So dissappointed. I went to pick up trash bags and laundry detergent. I decided to grab a get well card and birthday card. When I arrived homw and looked at my receipt they charged me 4.99 fot the get well card and 6.99 for the birthday card. Iwill be returning them eventually. My bad for not looking at the price. Today we went to Ocean state job lot and we waited in line like everyone else. We were a party of 3 plus a dog which dogs are allowed according to google and the man escorting people inside the store named herb didnt let my daughter holding the dog in the store due to only letting 2 people in at a time since they let the amount of people who leave enter which should have been told before entering. There should have been someone walking down the line saying only 2 at a time which there was not. After going in with just the 2 in my party I saw they let 4-5 people go in! And only one person left the store and he let the 4-5 people in. I was watching the people enter and leave while I was at the register! Not professional or appropriate at all to break up a family!

Long wait to check out even before Covid 19. Made much worse. Also, what kind of a company passes on an extra 2% charge to customers in order to offset employee lost wages? You would think that the company would plan better or at least appear less greedy.

Fun store to walk around in. They have a pretty good rug selection. Great buys on linens & bedding. You can always find what you need and then some. Large store with so much of everything. Staff are pretty goid. Large parking lot. Good location.

The place always looking dirty, looking very outdated (although not even being five years old), and having an apparent lack of staff make the whole place feel more like a black market rather than a discount store. Not all is bad though, as they do have a large selection of products on hand for cheap prices, however, that is expected of a discount store. So if you dont need help getting anything, and looks isnt something you care about, then you can find decent products for a cheap price. I would give it three and a half stars, but you cant rate half-stars, so three it is.

This place was such a dump. Items had dust and their selection of curtains was very slim pickings. It had a lot of items that you could use if you were just starting out in your own place like flash lights, tape, drinking glasses, dish cloths, key chains, matts for the floor etc... was not what I was expecting.

I visited a couple days ago hoping to get a job, but they told me they dont sell jobs there. Why would you call your self a Job Lot if you dont have jobs in stock?? Imagine visiting a used Car Lot only to be told they dont have any cars? This is some millennial trickery to say the least.
