I use to go to Lowes and Home Depot Now,I wouldnt go there if they where to give me the item I need. There stores never have anything unless you want to wait 2-3 weeks for back orders. Leeway Ace is the best for me. Great ppl

I love the convenience of a local hardware store. I love that the store is not huge but I have to walk miles to find what I need. The selection of goods they carry ensures that you can usually find what you need to get a job done!

My go to place for bolts, nuts, screws, etc. Well organized section of the store. If they dont have it, you dont need it!

Great place for all of your landscape needs

This is my go-to place. Very friendly, extremely knowledgeable and they take their time with you. Their prices are competitive with the big box stores and if its a little more thats ok because its supporting a local business. I needed a piece of glass to repair a door, they had it, I needed guidance on my landscaping, they provided it. If you havent been there yet, they are more than just a hardware store. I come here daily for hay, shavings, grain and basically all my horses and other animals needs. There hasnt been one time where I have had a pleasant interaction with a full time employee at the register named Sarah. The consistent lack of interest, care, or basic manners has reached a point. Its very rare that she isnt working and I have given the benefit of the doubt that shes been having a rough week for MONTHS. Its a clear indication this employee does not care for their job, the customers, or the service. I would not recommend interaction with her, absolutely ask for a different employee. The rare times I get to speak to someone else and not Sarah is very pleasant and what customer service should be.

I love the feel of a old mom&pops store! Thats how it is there,when your walking in the main building the wooden floors creek under your feet!everyone who works there treat you like your family.also they have a wonderful shop for decorating your yard or even indoors its like a hallmark store for your yard! I found a fragile beautiful hand blown glass piece for my kitchen window.

The owner was great and took the time to explain everything and show us different models glad we stoped there and not at the box store thans leeway.

I am tired of going into a big box store, not knowing where something is, chasing down a non existent employee, who then does not know where to find your item as well. What a hassle ! The item may be a dollar more at Leeway, but the quality of service and attentiveness at this family owned store is what you need and want. I have been coming here for decades and they have only improved their store with time. The excellent service has never changed.

Ive been shopping here for 19 years. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They carry everything Home Depot or Lowes carry only better service. If you dont see what you want, ask. They most likely have it. Being a small store, they dont display everything.

I dont know about you but Im tired of going to a big box store only to find out they dont stock what I need in the store, you have to order it online! This place is awesome!

Now that its transformed into an ACE service has been streamlined and the staff is much more accommodating now that the store has been redesigned. I can now dispense with my usual method of asking everyone in sight - in the vague hope that Someone Actually Knows what I am looking for, and where (precisely) it is. In fact, now I can just wander around with a confused and/or focused expression and will be asked by several associates if I require any assistance. The building itself is fairly old and has multiple rooms on different levels and finding a Sherpa (a guide) is essential as the location of stock is vastly different from its original configuration. All in all, the store is a much better experience in its present incarnation. Located on 146a, where School St. Intersects. Seconds from Rte. 146 and the border of Massachusetts.
