I have used the free offerings at this AutoZone several times. The staff is polite and has answered multiple questions about my car. I use and recommend this location to many friends for car repair needs.

Buy parts and supplies regularly from AutoZone. Its always a mixed experience. Sometimes the visit yields apart immediately and everything is good and quick and other times its a big hassle. I brought in coupons downloaded from online that say theyre good in the store and then the store says they never accept those because they cant figure out how they work. Recently ordered parts online and they were somehow lost by Federal Express. But was charged for the merchandise.

Today, I had the most amazing experience!Jose responded to my car problem efficiently and beyond the call of duty. He is modest and very competent! Thank you so much, Jose.Excellent service.

I went in to buy light bulbs for my tail light and license plate light, expecting to replace them myself. Two guys came out and took charge and did the replacement, so happy to help. I could have easily done the tail light myself. But the license plate bulb was hidden behind a panel that was very hard to pull off. It would have taken me at least twice as long. Thank you so much!

Ive yet to have a bad experience. Staff is friendly, selection is decent, my only complaint is the pricing. Location is proximal- right off Route 5 (aka King Street) in Northampton, in front of Stop and Shop and Liquors 44 and across the street from the Potpourri Plaza. Handicap accessible location with parking along Route 5 as well as closer to the entrance.

Very nice guy helped me put on my license plate.

Rick Medas helped me with my oil low light and then noticed that my battery had corrosion on the posts. he promptly got a battery tester and did a reading. it said it was 100% so no need to change it although he said he would replace it right then if it had read low. Just told me to clean the posts at home better then his initial brush off. refused a tip. He was just awesome. I will definitely return there whenever needed. highly recommend it later.

Excellent customer service! I went in to get a replacement brake light bulb. I asked someone to come out to the parking lot to help me figure out which light was out. Adam was happy to help. After figuring it out I popped my trunk and Adam went to work removing the faulty bulb. We went back inside to find the replacement and he disappeared behind the counter and then emerged with a bulb in hand. Turns out they had a box of spare bulbs loos in a box. He proceeded to go back outside and installed the bulb. Job done! I asked what I owed and he said Your all set then shook my hand. Thanks for the great customer service Adam!

Handy and stocks most of the parts needed for car repairs. Like the fact they allow you to borrow some of the less generic tools.

I had a dead battery, and I didnt know what to do. Anthony at AutoZone Northampton helped me out, from letting me know what is the best battery to installing it himself. He even lent me tools to jump the battery to get it to the store safely. It was cold and Anthony made sure the battery worked and was installed properly. I cant thank him and the crew there enough. They were about to close and they stayed a little longer just to help me out. Thank you.

The service was excellent! I didnt realize AutoZone did battery, alternator and starter checks for no charge. I brought my car to them after it sounded weird while I was starting it last night. They checked it right away, in the pouring, freezing rain. After finding no problems, they offered to clean the battery terminal. Very professional.

The employees here are always extremely courteous and helpful. I came in for new wiper blades, but didnt know what to buy. They asked my price point, and found something that fit the budget without trying to upswell or pressure me.They even helped me install the new blades, despite the store being quite busy at the time. The gentleman who helped me was extremely polite, didnt make me feel like I was inconveniencing him whatsoever, and was extremely quick and professional.I would highly recommend this store to anyone for a quick fix or part purchase.

The autozone in Northampton, Ma was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and had excellent customer service. The manager, Kyle, even came outside in the cold windy night to ask if there was anything else we needed like loaner tools and such (we had all the tools already but the thought was not missed.) I was so grateful that this autozone and its employees were so close and convenient. Truly an asset.Vero and Kyle at store 5157 were the best!!!!

Friendly and helpful. The clerk took the time to double check that the wiper blades I was getting were correct for my car and even came out and put them on.

The reason you get a warranty with your purchase is because they charge you double the price of the part. Do yourself a favor and visit rock auto for the exact same stuff. They make you think the warranty is this free awesome thing but if you dont use it your just wasting your money

Tonight my car battery died so I took an uber to auto zone. I explained the situation and was planning on taking a battery home and attempting to change it myself. I asked the gentleman, Anthony, who was helping me if the battery would be fairly easy to change for someone who hasnt done it before and he said it would be if I had the right tools but instead he suggested that I take his jump-start pack and drive my car back for him to change it for me. Sounded like a great plan. I jump started my car and let it run for a few minutes when it started making a loud (and kinda scary) noise and a bad smell. I called the store just to let them know that I may not be able to return the jump-start kit and purchase the battery and that I was going to call triple A to see what was wrong. Instead- Anthony offered to come to my house to take a look. This is above and beyond service! While he wasnt able to fix my car, he was able to diagnose the problem and recommend taking it in to a mechanic and also saved me a trip to return the jump-start kit. I have always had excellent service at auto zone, but this was tops! Thank you to Anthony for going out of his way to help a loyal customer!

Your staff is the point tip of your marketing spearhead. Worst customer service I have ever had. I am currently in the store waiting to get a return finished which is taking 2 people and over 15 mins. The woman I first talked to almost threw out my receipt before finishing the return and luckily I asked for it back because it turned out she couldn’t do the return and had to get the manager. The manager then thought I was there to buy something. He’s so slow at the register I was able to type all this on my phone before he could finish the return.

Im a regular here, and every time I have stopped by, the employees have been more than helpful with whatever I needed, while staying out of my way if I didnt request help. A+ service. (Also they have an EMT discount)

These folks are always really helpful, and not condescending, and I really appreciate that. You can get better prices at other places in the valley, but this is the best service youll get for your car parts.
