From START to FINISH our experience with FLY BY NIGHT couldnt have been any better. I made two visits to the store, one to determine what type of Futons I was interested in and one to complete my order and pick out my mattress type and fabric. Seemed it wasnt long before I received a call that I could schedule my delivery. The delivery of the Futons came right on time and went smoothly and quick...THE two fellows brought them into the room, put them together, put covers on mattresses, moved them into place...they did a great job!!! ... AND, WE JUST LOVE THEM AND LOVE OUR NEW ROOM! WE THANK Everyone at FLY BY NIGHT for their GREAT service and making our purchase so very easy! We definitely recommend FLY BY NIGHT to ALL!

I went to Fly by Night to look for a futon. Out of about 7 stores that I went to, Fly by Night has the biggest selection of futons and was the only store with futon mattresses that I found very comfortable. The employee who helped me out was very knowledgeable about their products and took the time to answer all my questions. If you are looking for a new futon, Fly by Night is there only store you need to go to. They do have a lot of other products and a great virtual browsing capability on their website if you want to check things out before going. When you go, look for their dedicated parking so you dont need to go back out and pay the meter out front if you browse for a while.

I had a great experience with Fly By Night after a friend recommended them for a futon. In store, the associates were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. When I had the futon delivered, the employees were extremely knowledgeable and showed me how to use the futon. I bought from Fly By Night because I knew I was investing in a good quality product that would last me for many years. My experience did not disappoint and I highly recommend them!

Wonderful store. Such lovely furniture! I bought a sleeper couch. Just what I was looking for. Could not find the equivalent anywhere else. Salesman helpful and informative not pushy. Delivery on time and efficient…even maneuvering through this 250 year old house. The sofa fits perfectly, it’s comfortable and is just the right bed for guests. You can’t go wrong with these folks. I stopped by Fly By Night thinking I’d be quickly look at some counter stools, but once I looked around the floors I didn’t want to leave. The furniture is lovely and comfortable. The quality of workmanship is obvious. I chose my bar stools and browsed for more furnishings, with excellent service from start to finish. I look forward to going back soon.

One of the best, if not the best, selections for style and price range we came across. We had looked in many stores and online for many weeks but couldnt find what we wanted until, fortunately, we found Fly By Night. We drove the 66 miles to their store, looked carefully at their wide range, made our choice and bought two sofas. A few weeks later, they were delivered safe and sound to our house and here they are—and theyre American made.

Where to begin with how awesome Fly By Night is. First we invested in an awesome couch from there, with help from such a helpful staff person there. It came out great! It became our favorite item in the house. So glad we took the gulp in that investment for something well have for years and years. Then when it was time for a new mattress, we heard to go back to FBN and we did because the selection was the best in town. The staff person we had this time was also amazing!!We chose something there. It is so well made. The delivery process was top notch. And now we love our new bed. Wow, who knew you could be that comfortable. Now we send our friends there too. If you think its out of your price range, consider the long lasting quality, American-made, local business, and in some cases, organic chem-free products. All things that matter to us. We are thrilled with every aspect of doing business with Fly By Night.

I received careful but not smothering assistance as I lay upon mattress after mattress to ascertain which one was THE ONE. It had been way too long since I got a new mattress. Delivery was pleasant and kind; my mattress is divine. 10/10 experience with Fly By Night.

I went to buy an office chair at fly by night. This was for my home (as opposed to my office) and i wanted to keep the price lowish. We have purchased chairs online before and found the fit wrong. So I wanted to sit in the chair. And that i did. I liked that there was no salesperson harassing me, everyone had masks and the space was very comfortable. I found and bought my chair. It was more expensive than online, but I didnt have to put it together, and i tried it out in store.

We’ve been saving for a new bed for some time and are so glad we had the option to purchase one right in town. There is always someone available to help when you need it and I love that it always feels like they’ll spend as long with you as you need. On the other hand, I also love that there’s never any sales pressure and you can browse as long as you’d like (and even return several times before making a decision if that’s your style). We were also really pleased with the delivery experience - the truck was here right when we expected it to be, the delivery people were professional and timely, and I loved that they put it together for us. In fact we were so pleased with it all that we returned to purchase our new mattress there as well which just arrived and for which the experience was identical. We love shopping local, thanks for making this such a positive experience!!

We just bought a house in town and have been shopping all over New England for furniture. Who would have thought wed have the best luck at this local place just minutes away? Fly By Night sells beautiful furniture at a reasonable price for the quality and joy of supporting a local business. I purchased furniture for my living room and bedroom. I got a full bedroom set ( bed, dresser, chest of drawers, two night stands and a matching mirror). The Fly By Night staff was patient and helpful. I had difficulty deciding on my type of mattress and must have tried them all, twice! In the living room I just replaced the couch (sofa sleeper, love seat and reclining swivel chair. The staff at Fly by Night again were patient while I selected the material and helpful by steering me away from the wrong type for my purpose. The store carries good quality furniture, the staff members are helpful and patient, and the prices are right. Everything has held up beautifully. I highly recommend Fly By Night Furniture!

I have probably bought 7 or 8 pieces of furniture from Fly By Night over the last 15 years. They are my go-to place. Ive bought their high quality futons, sofas and even had custom pillows made from their vast selection of fabrics. I just bought an in-stock sofa that was delivered just a few days after purchase. I keep going back because of their selection but also because of their service. They do not work on commission which makes it a low stress shopping experience. They give you space but are there for you right when you need them. It is a special place.

Can’t say enough positives about this business. We have been buying everything from futon covers to sofas from them for years, including a recently purchased gorgeous chair and ottoman. We sent my mother in to buy her first new mattress in decades and she was overjoyed with the patient, respectful service she received; and friends just bought a beautiful leather recliner that they now fight over so are planning to purchase another! We won’t buy from or recommend any other store.

Hi Cindy, Thank you so much for helping to find just the right futon. My old futon was a very good one in 1996, but had a crease in the middle when used for sleeping. It was also very hard. While I like a firm mattress the old one had no springiness left in it. The new one I have from Fly By Night is good and firm, yet soft as well. The store caries very beautiful and expensive furniture. I bought several things there throughout the years. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way that their customer service is really bad after the purchase is finalized, and now I only visit it when I want to check some ideas for my home, and I purchase things elsewhere. Some years ago, I bought a king bed and a mattress there. After two nights, we realized that the mattress had not been a good choice for us. We went back to the store to discuss our options, and we learned that we had no options. They basically said tough luck. When we mentioned that all mattress stores in the area (and online) have some sort of return policy to help their customers find the appropriate products and have a good shopping experience, the lady pointed to a small sign behind her that said no returns for mattresses. Obviously no one showed us that sign before we paid for the mattress. As a customer, you feel like an idiot for having spent your money at the only store in the area that treats you like that. I wish I could support it, but fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. I do not recommend this store.

I needed a non-futon sleeper couch of some kind that had good back support and was easy to open and close. The salesperson patiently showed me three different ones, in each case opening them up so I could test out sleeping, as well as sitting comfort. The one I chose was delivered on the day I requested and so far (several weeks later) has proven sturdy and comfortable. I have purchased several pieces of furniture from Fly-by-Night and in all cases my experience has been good.

My wife and I (with three children) furnished our house from Fly by Night. We love the clean, rich look of all-hardwood furniture. Its timeless appeal has also survived various decorating phases, from cozy (with lots of stuff) to Marie Kondo.The quality of materials and craftsmanship cant be beat. Our furniture has withstood years of use and abuse by children (then teenagers). My eldest has demanded to take her bedroom furniture with her when she gets her first apartment after college!The staff at Fly by Night have been there for many years. This means they know their stuff. It also means theyre treated right by local owners (Richard and Gary), who respect people, source regionally and nationally, and keep packaging and environmental footprint to a minimum.P.S. -- Our dog, Riley, is also a big fan.

Fly By Night is hands down my favorite furniture store. The service is unparalleled—they are incredibly helpful, flexible, consistent, and friendly, without pushing for the sale. They helped me envision my space (with an actual virtual design), choose my fabrics, find items they had right in stock, and search out the best pieces even if they will take months to get: the whole gamut. They have inexpensive, fun little numbers as well as more luxurious pieces, and they have lots of handmade furniture from local craftspeople as well as distant ones. It’s a two-hour drive for me to go there, and I do it happily.

I usually hate surveys but Fly By Night was lovely in a difficult time, manufacturing of our table delayed months but it arrived and it is beautiful. Four months ago I purchased one king and one queen Berkeley ergonomics euro mattress from fly by night. When the mattresses were delivered and the plastic bags opened by the very nice delivery people a strong odor was released. I called the store about it and they said it would go away in a few days and that the warranty did not cover smell so they wouldn’t help me. Luckily I had a spare room with an old mattress to sleep in. The smell did not go away so I called a week later and they said put some fans on them and it was probably because the warehouse had been very hot over the summer. I had two fans on it around the clock for two weeks and the smell lessened but is still there when you lie in bed and also still fills the room if windows aren’t left open. I also contacted the manufacturer who basically told me I was on my own as well.I guess I should not have assumed that an all natural mattress wouldn’t emit odor. My main purpose in writing this review is to warn others that want a mattress that does not off gas. The mattress is comfortable and fairly well made. I am also offended by how little fly by night cares about my dissatisfaction. I thought shopping local would give me great service. I shouldn’t have assumed that either.

Nice furniture however very pricey. We were not greeted when we entered the store despite a women standing right there on a computer on wheels. I wouldn’t have cared had she not gone over the top to greet those who came after us. A nice young man did help us with the loveseats and futons. Salespeople thru store but can’t be bothered to talk to customers. I don’t think we will return to buy anything in future.

I love the selection here and it is hard to beat the prices. The delivery guys are great and the quality so far is above par. Some of the staff are not kid friendly, even if theyre well behaved, so maybe leave the kids with a sitter. Parking is good as far as noho goes.

I truly enjoyed my recent experience at Fly By Night. Each and every staff member in the store was happy to help, and the delivery men were quick, efficient and had a very keen eye on detail. They even made sure the zippers on my new couch werent showing. Great service, I will be back!

They have a lot of great looking furniture albeit very pricey. The Staff is nice enough but can tend to give misinformation. I purchased a bed that felt nothing like the model I tried in the store. However, too bad for me - to the tune of $2,000 - because their beds are non-returnable. The owner couldnt have cared less that I was unhappy with the purchase. I was told the bed I received would take time to break in; that the one in the store was so comfortable because it had been well used. Its been awhile now since purchase and the bed is still the most uncomfortable thing Ive ever slept on. Funny thing, shortly after I purchased, the bed I picked is no longer offered. Bad timing on my part. Better products for less money are out there. Better customer dedication is out there. Take your time and look for it - or you may be out a painful amount of money like me.

If I was more wealthy, I would buy more Fly By Night furniture. When my son was born, I realized that it was a priority to get a comfortable couch made without flame retardants. I bought their cheapest one and happen to love it. Quality well made furniture that matches my aesthetic sensibilities.

This store offers healthy furniture options for conscious consumers. After spending over $6000, I was shocked when my couch broke after about a year. I reached out to the store and heard nothing back so it makes me less likely to purchase something here in the future. My bed is good though. Also there should really be a discount for people that live less than 2 miles from the warehouse.
