I brought iphone8plus in for screen replacement. there was issue where home button stopped functioning during repair. the courtesy and honesty of staff, Boomer and Luis in acknowledging the error was refreshing. there was immediate ordering of replacement phone, follow-up calls to update on arrival date of new phone, order was taken over my Phillip and Curtis, wow, the professionalism and courtesy was noteworthy..highest praise

I was looking for a ballast for a fluorescent fixture. I first ordered in at Amazon and was sent the wrong part which appeared used. I should have checked with Batteries Plus first. They had what I needed at a reasonable price. Very quick and efficient service!

They had specialized batteries that most stores dont carry. Specifically, they had the correct SLA battery for my APC battery back-up and it was a name brand unit. Pickup was easy since it was curbside pick-up.

Fantastic. I had my work iPhone stop turning on. I took it to ATT, they were like we sell phones, we don’t do service. Ok fair... I went to apple to see what was up. They were not very helpful, and the guy stated it could be the battery. However, after waiting for a long time they would not replace the battery because the phone would not turn on. This was not cool. I was told to try a battery place. I figured I would go to a reputable place, nothing in the middle of the mall. Went to Batteries plus. Milo was able to open my phone, replace the battery and gave it back to me before I watch a YouTube video of how to do it. He honestly told me before that a new battery may not fix the issue, but there would be no cost to me if it didn’t work. He plugged it in and he the apple logo popped on I got excited, and when the phone vibrated I was pretty sure it was gonna work. When I saw the home screen I screamed and started dancing. (1-30-19) Car battery needed to be replaced as I had to jump start it in the morning. Bad timing as its -15F outside and the temp for the next morning would be the same.So I bought the battery online and stopped by. The person who helped me, Milo, did a great job and installed the new battery outside in the frigid temps fairly quickly.(To the manager, give this man a bonus or something because its ridiculously cold outside -15F!! and your employee provided really great customer service. Seriously.)Overall, I recommend coming here for car batteries. Theyre not even that expensive if you can catch the coupon deals they sometimes have online. Make sure you test them regularly as well so that you dont end up like me.

I came in needing a battery for my garage door opener. Mike was very friendly and helpful. He spent several minutes working carefully to get it open, as it is old and was corroded around the edges. He managed to open it without any damage and immediately replaced the battery with no hassle. Super helpful and service oriented...I highly recommend!

Arrived at 8:20 on a Sat for an 8:30 appt (store opens at 8:00am. Locked and closed. Waited till past 9am and no one showed up. I should say that this is the second repair on this screen in 90 days. Will not return. Closed when you’re supposed to be open? No sign or anything on the door.

Ordered car battery online late last night. Pulled up to the store the next morning at 7:55am. The guy brought out the battery and installed it in about 10 minutes. Price was fine. Very pleased.

I went into Batteries + Bulbs to get a battery replaced for my car key. Mike helped me out with a lifetime warranty that will cover the key as long as I have it. He changed the battery right away and I was out the door in record time. The next time this happens I will just go in and they will change it for no charge. He replaced the battery on my car key, which involved removing quite a bit of black masking tape with glue residue. He took the time to remove the tape and the glue and cleaned it like it was new. I came to Batteries + Bulbs on Dundee Road in Northbrook on a Monday afternoon. I picked some bulbs for my office ceiling fan, the bedroom lamps, and one of the bathrooms in my condo. I have very bad vision and some of the lights were too bright when I installed them.I called on Tuesday and explained my problem to Mike. He asked me to bring in my old no longer manufactured bulbs and explained some options on the phone. I came in on Wed and he showed me in the wall display how the different bulbs would look. He explained LED technology and advantages. He explained 3-way LED lamp bulbs vs old 3- way light bulbs. I kept the original LEDs l purchased and am happy.Mike explained the advantage of selecting slightly smaller 8 watt Duracell bulbs to reduce glare in the bathroom.. EXCELLENT CHOICE! Great for my eyes AND everyone else thinks they are very bright!Mike, thanks for your patience and for making me an informed LED bulb purchaser. These guys are great. I needed a battery in my wifes iphone 5. They quoted a reasonable price, and were quick. They asked if I wanted to make an appointment, which I did, and I found later it gives me a discount. When I got there, they showed me that her screen was pulling away, exposing the phones insides to moisture, dust etc. How much I asked -- expecting the worst. They quoted a cost lower than I expected, and said that if they do it simultaneously with the battery, the battery is 50% off! They were done in half the time they said, price was terrific, and they know what theyre doing. Nothing could be better.

My phones power button was not turning on and off properly. I was afraid to turn it off becuz might not go on. Took it to Batteries Plus Bulbs, they ordered back for my phone in case of it breaking when they removed it to fix. The button was depressed and needed cleaning. This is a review for Batteries Plus Bulbs on Dundee Road, Northbrook.They have a big supply and variety of batteries & bulbs. I found this store last year after I got my watch battery replaced at Walmart and it only lasted for couple of months. They have multiple promotional discount coupon online.  I got lifetime warranty on my watch battery last year and just went in tonight to get my watch battery replaced for 2nd time and also got my car alarm battery replaced. Customer service was excellent, Mike was extremely helpful, friendly, and courteous, he made my visit so pleasant. I highly recommend this store for all your battery needs.

I was attended by Mike, I most say he was very good at answering questions and knowledgeable about the different types of batteries for cars, phones and controls. I go there when I need things after work and I have never been disappointed.

The individual who repaired the broken screen on my phone damaged a metallic ribbon underneath the home button rendering it useless. This process took approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes. Because the replacement part was out of stock, I had to rely on the phones accessibility functions to use the phone.After bringing the phone in the next week for the repair, the manager did not reassemble the phone properly; the upper right edge of my screen is now detached. I requested a full refund; however, the manager did not honor my request, claimed [he would] eat the cost, and proceeded to charge me wholesale for the screen.Additional damage to the phone includes intermittent white spots on the screen, occasional screen freezes (rendering the entire screen white and requiring a restart), and two green spots in the bottom right of the screen.
