We had a knowledgeable and very nice salesperson, who expanded our vision of what might be possible. We bought a set we will use in our long kitchen, that is both beautiful and comfortable. She also found a beautifully styled free standing cabinet piece that will fulfill our need for storage. Even though we will probably have to wait longer than expected for our furniture, because of shipping concerns, we feel it is worth it.

I love, love the furniture. My salesperson was very helpful. I dont understand why this store isnt crazy busy. My only negative comment is that all employees should smile and be more welcoming as one enters. That does wonders.

I recently bought an office desk and love it. Its a Thorsten, just the right size (47 inch) and it has a slot for plugs - my favorite feature. The staff helped me coordinate a pick up via a third-party, and were so nice and accomodating all the way through. AND the desk required some assembly, but it was easy and STURDY. Love it! Wonderful folks at Dania~!

We recently bought a sectional from Dania which included a chaise. We knew it would take about 6 months for us to get it due to pandemic-related issues, but weve always had good luck with furniture weve purchased from Dania. When it was delivered there was a shlub in the cushion of the chaise. We pointed it out to the delivery guys and noted it on the receipt. I then sent an email to the Northbrook store along with a photo. Today a furniture repair technician came to our house and pulled the shlub through the fabric so it is no longer visible and it looks great. Were now looking forward to enjoying our new furniture.

My family has been going to Dania Furniture for years and we have only worked with Cynthia Urban who is truly the best of the best. She is professional, has exceptional taste and is honest and helpful with her suggestions. She has taken great care of us over the years both in giving us infinite time as well as helping when things show up with imperfections (a common problem in the furniture delivery world). Most recently my husband and I moved into a new home and decided to buy upgrade with some new furniture. We had something damaged during delivery and Cynthia took great and immediate care to fix the issue and ensure our satisfaction. Dania is lucky to have such a wonderful and dynamic sales person!!!!!

I placed an order on 1/19/21 for a dining table and 6 chairs and made a down payment of $2,300. Because the table is on backorder until April, they will not deliver the chairs that are in stock until the table arrives, even though my down payment covers the cost of the chairs. I keep getting emails asking me to review Dania, but I have not received my furniture order so I find it frustrating that they keep requesting that I review them favorably. Would love to get an update from Dania on the expected ship date.

I came in looking for a desk chair but didnt quite know what I wanted. So the gave me suggestions and told me where to look. i appreciated the direction without hovering over me. Made a choice and I was on my way. The SALE price made it even better.

Staff spent a lot of time with me helping me decide and also didnt hover when I just needed time to think. They were also understanding when I called to change my order a little bit and took care of it right away. And... when I came to pick it up, the man at the warehouse on site- did not mind at all helping me unpack the furniture parts and put them safely in my car so that when I got home I could carry it up to my apartment one piece at a time.

Dania isn’t the fun and inspiring furniture store it used to be. Now it has boring and drab choices unless you like walking through rooms full of look a-like couch and sectional layouts. Yawn. Also not loyal to hard working employees like Cynthia (20 years!) who they “let go”. Bye Dania.

Cynthia at the Northbrook location was simply amazing. Between phone and email correspondences right down to the actual visit to the store, she was professional, helpful, and very accommodating with a variety of requests. I bought an entire bedroom set and I couldnt be more pleased with quality of the furniture and accessories. Even the delivery time and service was excellent!

The staff is always very helpful and prices are fair. I ordered a custom couch in the color and texture I wanted. The rest was easy. Expect a wait on custom orders.

Not very pleased to hear our sales rep was let go. Cynthia is an uncommonly terrific salesperson. We furnished entire buildings with Dania because of Cynthia. We were loyal to Dania because of Cynthia. The times we’ve had to use Dania e-commerce instead of her have been a nightmare. Dumb move Dania, and I might add not very nice in the middle of Covid.

Shopping for furniture at Dania was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. I purchased a full bedroom set from them and expect I’ll be back for more in the future. Unlike many “discount” furniture stores, Dania’s furniture is curated to be higher quality and modern in style. The staff were very helpful and design savvy in-person and over the phone.

Excellent chairs at an excellent price! I had a few issues with the quality of a few but Dania ordered new ones and they came perfect! I love my new chairs- everyone asks where I purchased them from and love how heavy duty they are.

Very large assortment of furniture with varying prices. However, its not very organized where the different types of furniture are. The clarity is definitely not where it should be. But they have furniture for all tastes and bodys.

We have been to a couple other Dania locations but Northbrook tops them all! We love the layout of the store and the service provided to you excellent! Bob Massey the store manager is amazing. While providing exceptional personal service, he goes the extra mile to make sure you are fully satisfied with your purchase. He made our purchase very enjoyable. I would re-visit this location specifically to make all purchases as y you receive a lot more care here than the other Dania locations!

Dania has some really nice looking furniture, but be very careful of what you buy. My wife and I bought a side table and matching dining table. Dania could never get the self-closing doors on the side table to work correctly, so they did give me a $200 credit. However, for a piece of furniture that cost a $1,000 I would not expect the veneer to start peeling away within a year. Along the bottom edge the veneer has peeled up, and Ive had to resort with using wood pens to color in the missing chips.

Ella assisted us with a purchase of a loveseat, dresser, and tea cart. Dania has some of the most well made and lovely furniture available.

The delivery team that came to my condo came in and set up my sofa within 5 minutes. Everything looks great!

I had been couch shopping for a long time. I wanted comfort, but style. I wanted quality, but at a reasonable price. Believe it or not, I found a comfortable, beautiful green velvet sofa with an MCM/eclectic twist. Andra was my sales rep. She listened and helped me make the decision that was best for me. My son & I had gone to at least 25 other places for furniture. I even had to decline an oversized couch at another place. Andra was my Salesperson at the Northbrook location. The absolute BEST !!!! She made a diagram of my room, actually moved the furniture in the showroom to give us a visual, suggested pieces I never considered... the delivery guys were even delightful. And now everyone loves my furniture!! Thank you SO much- just love it, sure beats a lawn chairs.

This place caters to all price levels and the quality is consistent throughout no matter what the price. I had the pleasure of shopping with Cynthia Urban who is never pushy but always informative whenever you need her. She is a very knowledgeable associate who knows the store inside and out. The reason I choose to give this establishment 2 stars instead of 1 is because my sales person was very helpful and sweet.I purchased a coffee table here two weeks ago and it was finally delivered yesterday with a scratch on the bottom. When I contacted then they told me it was not something they would repair or replace since the scratch was in the bottom and not visible. This is not a store I would return to in the future

Dania has the kind of modern mid-century furniture I like. Grace was very helpful with our request for a sofa bed and she spent a lot of time with us going over the different alternatives we had. Im very pleased with the service and the options they gave me to reserve the furniture.

Dania has real nice furniture that are stylish and comfortable, though its pricey. Delivery is $ 99 for all items combined. We ordered bedroom and dining room furniture during one of their recent sales and are satisfied so far. Our sales rep, Dennis was very helpful and patient. Will recommend to anyone.

Not impressed. Walked in the store and no one offered to help even though we were the only people there. We had to eventually ask as we were looking for a specific piece that I saw online.I asked about delivery estimate for that item even before I walked in the store and then while placing the order. They still canceled 2 days before the set date and rescheduled. Delivery happened way after the window given. I also bought 2 kids dressers that were supposed to be delivered free since I was paying delivery fee for the bed but miraculously they wanted $80 extra as ‘set up’ charges while placing the order. I won’t be ordering anything else from here.

Nice furniture that looks good only in their store! They only deliver broken and damaged furniture. After having a horrible experience at their Lombard location decided to give this location a try. Ordered a bed, coffee table and a dresser. Was told a week later that the bed and coffee table will come as expected but will have to wait another 1-2 weeks for the dresser. After 4 days I called the store and requested that I will wait the extra 1-2 weeks but just bring all my furniture together so I don’t have to wait 2 times for the delivery people. The gentleman Bob on the phone told me that the dresser will come about 2 months later not the 1-2 weeks I was promised by Cynthia so maybe I should just take bed and the table for now and wait for the dresser. I called today asking that I will order a different dresser that is in stock and since they didn’t have any delivery window open for 2 weeks I will just pick it up. Then the saleswoman Cynthia told me that I can’t pick it up for 2 weeks Bc their warehouse is closed and I should take my business elsewhere. This is exactly what I will do and unless anyone reading this wants to be treated like dirt or animals I recommend you do the same.

Came to the store with a friend who is looking for a dinner room set. Granted they have nice selection but why would I want to spend money in a place that does not acknowledge me when I walk in and the sales representative just walked passed us without a DAMN word.

My experiences at Dania, have been fabulous. I love the clean, sleek designs of their furniture and it is so affordable. Dennis, was our salesman, he couldn’t have been any nicer, he was helpful, patient and so easy to deal with. Even the delivery, was great, clean, efficient and so polite. I have no complaints and my new place looks gorgeous.

Dania has a really nice, wide selection of furniture to fit many tastes and needs, and for a variety of budgets. I often find much classier, more substantial pieces for prices that rival the 4-letter allen-wrench factory. At this point Id say over 50% of my home has been furnished by Dania, and that says a lot because Im super picky. Cynthia is the best, always knowledgeable, on top of things, and makes shopping there a truly enjoyable experience! I always feel Im in good hands, and would choose Dania as my first go-to anytime.

The furniture is simple, modern and sleek. The quality it excellent and diversity in style is okay. Regarding the sales people, its a hit or miss. A coupe have been great, but most were a disappointment and I get they really didnt understand what I wanted or were inept at making design worthy suggestions. Rarely will you find great discounts at this store, occasionally theyll do $100 off every $600 spent.

A favorite place of mine, to buy furniture. I have a hard time choosing between the different options that this store offers. The staff are always friendly and accommodating, they always make me feel like they appreciate my business. I have gotten some good deals here, and sometimes I pay full price. I also get decorating ideas just by walking through the show room. I enjoy everything I have purchased from them. I had 1 glass dining room table shatter a year after I purchased it, and they replaced it at no charge. I didnt even ask not to be charged. This place is GREAT!

From start to finish, Cynthia, the salesperson who worked with me, was excellent from start to finish of my order. She help me select the merchandise, ordered it and tracked it while it was on back order, snd kept me up-to-date until I took delivery. I found the whole experience a pleasure, plus I love the two cabinets I bought from Dania.

Almost all of our furniture is from Dania. We have always found their designs desirable. Their current product line continues their commitment to quality design and manufacturing. We have never found anywhere else that matches them.

Very dated furniture selection. Cheesy at best.Updated review... 3 years ago, they were remodeling the space. we went back recently and saw many nice pieces. There is one section that is a little gaudy looking but I guess thats just not my taste!

There is a large show room with pieces available immediately. We loved the variety, the help from our salesperson and we quickly found the right pieces for our dining room and bedroom.

Well designed furniture in large selection. Lots of accessories. Coming there for years. Not a place for opulence and gold leafes. Modern, convinient, elegant. Not cheap, but not too expensive and of a good quality. We bought quite a few items and never had any complaints.

The night stand we bought did not have the correct screw holes drilled in so we could not attach the leg. When we called the store, they said they were unable to assist us and that we needed to email the corporate office. They did not seem surprised or apologetic so this must happen often. I would suggest being mindful of this when thinking about purchasing furniture here.

My home is filled with furniture from Dania....dining room chairs, table, and hutch, Stressless sofa, recliner, and chair; a new leather recliner, office desk and file cabinet, bedroom set....so there you go. We like the style, and the long lasting quality plus the people are nice to work with as they dont bug you but are willing to help.

Excellent customer service and very good price

I regret to have to give a 1 star review but our experience with Dania has been really terrible. They have been the most unorganized business I have ever had contact with. They messed up our order three times, we will receive our chair over 6 weeks late because of their errors, on top of this the customer service has been very poor. We have yet to receive our chair and who knows....perhaps we will run into more obstacles... ?

We bought a coffee table that we loved. was delivered in September and just the other day, we noticed that the wood top is splitting. Went to Northbrook Saturday, 3/28 to find a replacement as we were told our particual table was no longer being carried because of THIS problem. Your rep was helpful, but told us that our original salesperson would call today, GUESS WHAT/ No call. I even called again- still no return call. The base is okay, but a new top needs to be made so we can enjoy our table. There is NOTHING in stock that fits our needs.BUT, why not take the time to call. Dania has been a company that we have dealt with over the years, but now,I am not sure we would even want to do so again.
