They repaired my exhaust manifold gasket on my Dodge diesel. The repair was fine for 10 months. Now I has an exhaust leak again. Ive attempted to reach Gene by phone and email for over a week, to no avail. If you are looking for a shop to stand behind their work, its apparent to me that this shop will NOT! Buyer beware!

I bring my DISEL truck to this shop and they replace the inyectores and my truck now is working fine the price was ok and on time they are really professionals on their job.

So far so good. Ive had my truck in twice and they seem to do good quick work. Good communication also.

Service was done right had no issues and even gave me a discount it taking longer than it should have.

Amazing service and very friendly! I’m very picky about who touches my truck, was having some issues and had a tight deadline (work oilfield had to get to next job site) they got it fixed on time. I have been to many auto repair shops over the years and this is the only place I will take my truck. I don’t mind paying more money to have my work done correct the first time. We travel across the country towing car trailers and I never doubt the quality of work pulling my equipment. Do it once and do it right!

I took my truck for two issues, a exhaust leak and my running lights not working on my truck. They said I would be charged $60 for diagnosing, ok no problem. They fixed the leak, by replacing a screw that just fell off a sensor port and said they just used and extra they had around, I was grateful. Then they told me I had a bad fuse box and thats why the front running lights wouldnt work, but the back ones was a different issues and that after replacing the fuse box they would have to do a wire bypass because their was a short in a wire going to the back lights. They wanted me to pay $580 for the fuse box and and 200 to install it because it required wiring and then near $300 to do that single wire bypass. They said parts were from ford and they added 10%, well I called Ford and a new box was $350 better yet I found a company that sells refurbished factory fuse boxes and gives a lifetime warranty for $220. So I went to pick up my truck and he says its $120 diagnostic fee and I said I was told $60 and responds its $60 if we do the work, they had never said that. I told him I guess Ill pay it but its not cool. Although it sounds like they will have to do the work and Ill bring it back. He said well since your going to have us do the work Ill do the $60, so I paid it and left. So I did some research and I ordered the fuse box and found out it takes 10mins to do. I took out the old one and transferred over the fuses and I noticed 2 that were blown and I thought I hadnt seen them blown and both were for towing lights. So I finished and replaced the bad fuses and plugged it in easily no wiring needed it was just plug in. Then to find out all the lights then works and no short. I tried the old fuse box just to see if it was bad, so i put the old one back with all the fuses and guess what? It all worked!!! What a scam this company tried pulling on me. Thats why I shipped my truck before to have it bullet proofed by powerstroke specialty in GA, they actually took care of me and were always 100% and they had offered to pay for the exhaust leak because they thought it was their fault. To bad they are not located in Colorado because I would only use them. I will never use this place tho again, I dont know what they gain by scamming customers, only quick cash and not long term business especially when they get busted and get a review.

Took in my truck after I put in a brand new motor and other supporting mods, my goal was around 700 horse power. Wade and his crew has been extremely amazing at helping me. I was messaging wade about my truck and what I wanted to do, talking about the next upgrade which will be his transmission. I found out later he was messaging me while on his vacation cruise ship. If that isn’t heart and pride of your business I don’t know what is. Amazing job as always Wade.

I called a couple places no one had time to work on it. I called and I explained I was just passing though and the water pump went out. He said he will fix it. And as promised it was fixed like he said and the time frame he said.

My truck was left for three days. All that was fixed was an oil change and window button. They missed my rear airbags, the horn on the steering wheel and batteries are shot. This place is a joke, they over charge and work when they want. They hooked up my truck to a diagnostic sensor and couldnt even open their eyes to actually looking at my truck. Anyone who takes their vehicle here will be ripped off and over charged. Owner gave me excuse after excuse about vehicles being onions and they have layers to them. Give me a brake, the damn horn is broken. Have a tech actually look at the truck.

I love working with these guys. Super honest any time Ive had my truck with them. If work wasnt needed, they were upfront about it. They have also helped me in a last minute crunch to suggest a problem I was having with my truck so I could fix it before my camping trip vs telling me to take it to them to fix the issue next week like other shops were telling me. This is why I like to take my truck to them for things I feel more comfortable having them do.

These guys know diesel trucks. Always helpful and you can trust them to get it right. If you own a diesel pickup you need someone who is an expert especially when you have injector problems. Fair prices too.

Quoted me a price, I paid in advance because I never know when I’ll get off work and made arrangements to pick up after hours. Than I get a call that the work was done and they owed me money back. Who does that? I would have never known had these guys not wanted me to. All my business for repairs will come to this shop from now on. Good honest people are hard to come by. Worst service. When you call I swear you can feel their vibe through the phone. You would think that since they have a shop they would have a passion for what they do but instead you get rude customer service especially over the phone! They over price when they know it’s a job they hate doing. I use to hear good stuff about this place but that was years ago the reputation is not the same today guys.. I’ve had stuff broken on my vehicle that was not broken and stuff missing not personal stuff but like stuff not put back on your vehicle after being worked on. They take forever and when you call to see how everything is going they become rude and annoyed. They say that they will work with you the next time if you come back and when you do try to do business again they don’t help you out especially when they break something that was not broken while taking off a part that they are replacing. My experience was pretty awful and I tried to work with them again to see if they would help me out since we had a bad experience the first time but they just want your money. Understand it’s a business but when you tell a customer that you’ll make it right if you come back and don’t fall back on your word your now a Lier. I know the owner is passionate about his business he really is a good guy but the other guys that work there the ones you actually have to deal with are a bad name and bad reputation for that company. I won’t take my vehicle there again that’s for sure... they charge more then the dealerships your better off taking it to the dealer if your going to pay that amount dealer beats them in price. Stray away from this place I hauled my truck from three hours away based on reviews and word of mouth just for them not to look at anything or do any diagnostics and called me with a quote for $14,000 new motor lol. Well took it to another shop and am back on the road for 1/8 of the price. Stay away unless u have a pavement princess thats all they want to work on i guess. Would not recommend this place

I had my Duramax tuned by Wade and it’s a whole new truck to me. Someone had stripped the bolt (probably me) during the blocker plate install and they got it fixed and didn’t charge me for a new egr cooler. Highly recommend these guys for work and tuning!

This shop is top notch. There are a lot of diesel shops in Colorado but none with the experience and great staff that day dreams has. I came in with a broken truck and Bill helped me right away and called me as soon as the truck was done. Everything was as promised and my D-max runs great. Thank you Wade and Kevin. When my oil was changed at another business (car dealership), the drain plug was not installed properly. The result was I ended up driving about two miles on a truck without oil in the engine. The dealership subsequently told me my engine was fine. I called DDD and Kevin was kind enough to take about 15 minutes out of his day to talk shop and tell me about the inspections on the bearings that would have needed to occur in order to have the engine check out OK. Because of Kevin conveying this information, I had the knowledge to know what to ask the service dept about the depth of the technical aspects of what they looked at to evaluate my engine and make sure there was no damage done. Although Im certainly not the most demanding high performance diesel customer out there, you guys have certainly earned my future business. Thanks a million!

WORST SHOP IVE EVER BEEN TO!They had my truck for 9 days and couldnt even tell me the issue, then wanted to charge me 230$ for nothing when I told them I was taking it to a different shop. It was so ridiculous I had to call the police to get a civil standby when I went to get my truck towed to a better shop. Go anywhere but here, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

I read 1 bad review where a guy had a bad experience with diesel Daydreams all I can say is thats what you get for driving a Dodge. These guys did injectors on my Duramax 02 3500 Dually. Their price was cheaper than I could buy the injectors for. They tuned my truck with EFI live. Not only is my mileage awesome but my truck is fast. I cant believe the power I have. I can roast all four tires off as long as I want. I smoke the kids with their tuners on College Avenue in Fort Collins every weekend. I love to roll coal and I hope it really pisses off the governor. You can see me coming. Thanks for the great job guys.Ill be back

These guys are very professional, explaining everything they found wrong and then explaining what was critical to repair and what could wait .The bill came up to what was quoted and not a dime more. I will be using them for any future repairs.

Truck stop working 2 times after taking it to these guys. Not impressed. I spent money on a truck that still doesnt work thanks guys!

I was really worried that it was going to cost lots of $$$$ to fix my truck...instead of assuming that the other mechanic I took it to was right. They double checked and I didnt need to fix anything...the other mechanic was wrong. Now a days its hard to find businesses that take care of you. Im a customer for life.

I own a 1999 Suburban, I have gone from mechanic to mechanic getting things repaired until I met the guys at DDD. My chevy runs better than it ever has before. They have been great in price and workmanship! I can only recommend them!

Top notch service and know-how

Went into Diesel Day Dreams for a EFI live from Wade but we ended up with a few injectors on the cusp of going out. Knowing that they are a trusted shop we had them put in new Exergy performance injectors and a Fass lift pump. After that and with Wades custom tuning the truck runs great and smoother than it ever has. I would definitely recommend to other people. Had one small problem with fuel filter head leaking after lift pump was installed (NO fault of DDD) and these guys jumped right on it and took care of it without even a question. Also the Service adviser Rudy and Service manager Bill are great - very friendly and helpful with any questions I had with work being done and work I was doing myself. This is definitely a great shop that is very trustworthy. Will be back again if any problems arise in the future A++ Customer for life!!

Took my dodge to this place and nothing but problems! Had to take my truck to them 5 weekends in a row! I Had cold start problem in the beginning that was it. So DDD said it could be a heater box or injectors. So it came back as injectors so I had them change out my injectors. With miss communication they did more work than requested. Bill tryed to charge me for it. They did not, but service seriously went down hill from this point. Went to pick up my truck and they forgot to put radiator fluid back in my truck not enough transmission fluid. Notice exhaust leak from my Turbo which was new, missing fender screws and the list goes on. So Im driving and my truck starts to over heat I pull over open the hood and touch the radiator cap and its cold I open it and see no fluid at all. I spent $ for fluid pored it in and tryed staying positive. This is when I notice all the fk ups! I try to drive back to leadville my truck just dies no acceleration like a dead pedal. Check engine light is on. So I take it back with codes in hand! They claim it was due to my my radiator because my radiator had a broken overflow nipple. I new it was bs but just wanted my truck fixed at this point. $600+ later I still had the same problem. Mind you I end up fixing the problem myself. With the help of U TUBE and diesel forums at a cost of $160. The problem was throttle position sensor which caused what they call a dead pedal. I am from out of state and picked DDD because of their ratings. I went based on ratings because I did not want to end up with a shop that took you for everything and thats exactly what I got! Dont believe all the hype from these ratings above because I got suckered buy them. I got no reason to make this up because its not getting my money back thats for damn sure!All this cost me over $5Gs easy!

There are plenty of other shops that will stand behind their work!! Unlike DDD !!

Helped my son tow his truck to diesel day dreams several times because of new clutch that they installed having issues. We finally were told by Gene to go take it to a transmission shop. Took it to MAXTORQUE and they had the clutch reinstalled properly in just a day. Then diesel day dreams refused to pay the bill for Maxtorque to repair their mistakes. $800.00. DO NOT USE DIESEL DAY DREAMS. Gene is incredibly rude and unprofessional. If you have a Cummins I highly recommend Maxtorque in golden.

I had my clutch replaced with a Dual Disc Southbend clutch September of last year. Instantly I had issues with it not Disengaging the clutch correctly. I called and they said it needs to be broken in after 500 miles and it will work like it’s supposed to. Called after 500 miles with the same issue. They said wait until 1000 miles. Called back and still said the same thing. After a few months of this issue I tried calling them to figure out the issue. I was told by Gene to get in touch with A-1 transmissions to see if they knew what could be the issue instead of having me bring the truck in. I tried calling Gene at the shop several times over the span of a month. Several times a day several times a week. Wasn’t able to get ahold of them at all. I finally got ahold of Gene and told him I was still having issues with my clutch but I was going to take it to Maxtorq diesel to get it looked at and He said okay. Rob At Maxtorque had it tore down and found that Dissel Day dreams had installed my clutch forks backwards causing the issue and caused my throwout bearing to prematurely wear. I let Gene know about the problem. He apologized and said he would talk to Wade but he would help Me out with the cost. I sent Gene the bill and he said he would get in touch with Wade. Didn’t hear back for a few days so I called and Gene said they had to Figure out whether Dustin the technician was going to pay for it out of his pocket or if The shop was. Didn’t hear back for a few days and Gene then Told me they aren’t going to cover the cost to get it fixed correctly since it was at another shop. Tried getting in Contact with Wade but Wouldn’t tell me when Wade would be in the shop. This shop doesn’t stand behind their quality of work. I would recommend taking your Cummins to Maxtorq diesel in Golden. My truck was fixed correctly before lunchtime in one day and they answer the phone every time.
