This place is awesome. Not your typical craft store, they have a lot of cloth and sewing material. Other holiday decorations you normally wouldnt see elsewhere. They did have some suspicious which I didnt ask what they were for but maybe someone can reply. They were selling something that looked like a voodoo doll but the name was Muslim doll? Go figure. The ladies that were here are very friendly and very helpful. Really enjoy coming here. ☺

Staff was very helpful with finding the EXACT fabric I needed fir my quilt project. My only issue was my cart was sticky and there were no cleaning wipes available at the time. The store seemed clean and the staff / store were using covid precautions (cleaning counter between customers) and i really like being able to use touch less payment and coupons at the store

I purchased 3 bolts (1 online and 2 from local stores). There is a cutting in the middle of my bolt. Obviously, I would have preferred to have been advised of the piece of salvage in the middle of my bolt (approx 58). My minimum cutting layout is 84-86. Someone should have said something. Now I find myself behind to rework a cutting layout. Im very disappointed and hoping that this disappointment will not have to be passed along to my client. I wish I knew which store (Westminster or Northglenn) did this but I did not mark my pick up bags.😐Customer care response:[W]e do not guarantee how fabric will arrive however, our warehouses do make every attempt to fill orders in the least amount of cuts possible. Any fabric you are unsatisfied with is applicable for a full refund should you wish to return it to the store. Please be advised this policy does not have a time frame and is hassle free.Thank you for advising me.. I will take the extra time to approach the cutting table from now on so I can verify my upholstry fabric lengths (but was attempting to avoid contact with others due to COVID.)Since Im already 8 cutting patterns deep (out of 10) and now 3 yards short I obviously cannot return anything.

Im not a typical fabric an craft kinda guy( if there is such a thing) but I was determined to do a project for my kids room. I had the lights already, just needed the cardboard and cotton stuffing. The staff was very friendly and took the edge off of my feeling like a fish outta water and made the process a breeze. Just as I was about ready to check out, my (very large dog) American Staffordshire Terrier charging in the store to greet me! He was accompanied by a good Samaritan looking for the dogs owner, me! I guess he had gotten tired of waiting and chewed through his leash! Thankfully the woman who brought him(my hero) and the entire staff, were understanding of my dogs running in circles and greeting everyone with slimy kisses. The good Sameritan that wasnt afraid of my oversized drool machine the entire staff were so understanding and helpful, security even helped me wrangle up my over stimulated pup! My dog in most peoples eyes is a blue nosed pit, and this scares most people all on its own, but thankfully not the brave woman who brought him into the store, and not any of Joannes staff. My dog (Balou) is a giant scary looking teddy bear, and just a big ol lover. He is quite spoiled by me and an integral part of our family, and it would have crushed me to lose him. My all time biggest of hugs 🫂 and appreciation 🙏 go to all those involved the heroic reuniting of dog and owner, after the thousands of seconds we were apart!😊

Wonderful people working there! We received lots of help shopping and at checkout by very nice people. Found most of what I was looking for and lots of what I wasnt! Prices for Halloween stuff were through the roof though. I could only buy a couple of little things in that department because it was so expensive; even with the sale. We hadnt been in quite a while so it was fun to see what they had. I think we spent 2 hours there.

Store was very clean as well as restroom. There was a giant selection of fabric along with many other items for purchase. The line to have fabric cut was very long. However we got through regular checkout fairly quickly. Overall, a good experience.

I am a big fan of Joannes .. I like all that there is to choose from .. etc.. my only thing is Joannes seems to follow a similar style as a couple other companies I noticed and that is their regular price for most of their goods is far higher than I know it to be worth .. I saw a basic coffee cup for something around 19.99.. when the same coffee cup at most other retailers would be 3.99-9.99.. but here’s the kicker .. Joannes has a sale going on.. the 19.99 coffee cup is on sale for 50 % off .. so you’d pay only 9.99.. I’m aware this style may appeal to some consumers but for me .. if it’s over priced .. than I’m reassured it’s on sale .. so I’d get it for the price I’d pay at another store.. that almost makes me want to go to the other store to see if the 9.99 coffee cup is on sale for 50% off there too. A true sale is meant to impress you. A true sale when done right allows the consumer to feel like they are special .. like they were lucky coming that day.. or they would have missed the sale . A good sale can create a lifetime customer and it can also create a lot of talk amongst friends about your store . When people walk in on a good sale .. cell phones come out - friends are being callled.. traffic is increasing.. and people who came for the great sale end up purchasing extra little treats aside from the super sale. Joannes model, I feel doesn’t create this kinda excitement .. instead of feeling like you hit the jackpot with a sale- you feel like it’s almost expected due to the exaggerated full price. The sale bringing it to the full price of another store is not very exciting .. but I’m not trying to be mean.. I’m just sayin.. I know there is a loyal base .. and that may be perfect for where the big guys who make the descisions wanna go .. but I find myself wanting to like Joannes more than I naturally just like Joannes .. and that’s not a common feeling I feel about most stores like Joann’s..

Experienced the Best Customer Service! Great selection of fabrics, and other crafting supplies. Also, by surprise, my daughters and I found the popular, Posca Pens at this location. Just a very dirty store, and the temperature was so warm inside that my daughter almost passed out! Personally, that is why I probably wont go back. Cleanliness is very important to me, especially nowadays! Coupons in app are same as newspaper, but you still need them because its a little pricey for a lot of things.

Walked in and picked up an order. Asked the sweet girl at the front if she knows if they’d be able to cut it to 1 yard (I had 2 yards total) so I have the measurements right for what I’m trying to make. She said it shouldn’t be a problem. I walked up to the counter and the old lady with the white cropped hair (Barb?) told me “we don’t do custom cuts. What you order is what you get.” I’m 29 years old, half her age and have twice the customer service skills than that lady. I understand not wanting people to bring in their own fabric to be cut but that’s not what I did, I hadn’t even left the store. Extremely disappointed. There are plenty of better Joanns in the area and I’ll be going there instead.

Being a DYI type person, they typically never disappoint. They had the fabric rivets I needed to make my adjustable strap for my face mask. I would have given a 5 star but their selection of 3D printer filament was limited to only one diameter size and the price was nearly twice as much as everywhere else.

Love crafting so this is a must go place for me.

Great place for crafts. Very very crowded and poor ventilation. Its always warm inside. Aisles are too close together and people are in close contact with one another. Difficult to find an employee when assistance is needed.

The one star is for cleanliness, other wise the staff just sat around chit chatting. I actually had to get a ticket at the fabric counter and stand in line just to ask a question.I came here looking for leather after walking around the entire store and standing in a long line, I finally got to ask one of the workers where it could be she simply pointed to wall and said thats the only place it could be. I thought hmm away from the fabrics odd but ok. I head over there and the only fabric was felt. No at all what i wanted. The whole trip here was such a waste of time.

This is my first place I go to for quilting and sewing projects. The prices are the best in town. They also seem to have sales. The customer service is always friendly and helpful. Weekends will be busy so plan on waiting a little bit to get your fabric measured & cut. The phone app is the best! You can save even more money!

I bought a cricut air 2 and when I went to open it I noticed the tape keeping it closed had already been cut. The LightGrip mat was full of hair as if it had been used already. The vinyl Envelope had been ripped. The pen is missing. Very disappointed that JOANNs sold me something that was returned but not properly checked by the employees. Now I have to drive all the way back to exchange.

Went in looking for something I didnt know the name of and an employee worked tirelessly with me to help me find it. She was professional, knowledgeable, humorous, and a pleasure to have assist me. The other employees I ran across were just as eager to help and pleasant. Its so good to see happy employees because it means a company is doing something right and that management treats its people with respect.

Never been to Joanns before. My mom drug me in here! If you like crafts and fabric and stuff, its a great place though. Extremely reasonable prices, and if you get their phone app, you can pop out coupons for every occasion. Theyre helpful too. We had a total of 270$, and the cashier asked us if we had all the right coupons. We didnt, so she pulled them up for us, and saved 70$. Very nice.

This is a great location. The ladies here are always very helpful are always able to answer my questions. Sometimes it can take a little while to get fabric cut when theyre busy, but that happens anywhere.

Absolutely love this place although through this covid-19 epidemicI did have to wait out in the sun for a good 15 minutes just to get my pick up order they might need to think of a better solution especially for the elderly.

Every visit to this Joann is pleasant. I find this store very nicely kept. They have sales every week, and you can also use their online coupon in-store. Their fabrics are nice and the employees are nice (at least to me) and helpful when I have any questions. Some of the things they offer here you can also find them at the nearby arts and crafts store for bit less. They dont have much options for sketchbooks, pencil sets and that type of art stuff. But awesome for crafty things and knitting books and yarn.

My experiences here have always been pleasant. Today a little hard to shop due to Covid. I am ok with that but my issue is with my conversation at the register. The lady was not helpful and very rude. Thank God there was a woman to my right doing online orders I believe who was very pleasant and helped me through the situation. Her name is not on my reciept.

Originally, we went to the Westminster location looking for a specific item that their website said was in stock, only to find out was not. It was a bit difficult getting help in there. We ended up in the Thornton location and they were all great, helpful and friendly! 5 stars to the Thornton location!

Information on front of store and on email unclear and confusing during covid. Also a rude worker.I placed an order online and selected pickup. I called the store and asked how pick up worked. She said Id recieve an email when my order was ready and to follow instructions on the email.The email said go inside OR use curbside. At the store the sign said to use curbside .... It did not say curbside only or do not go in the store.I followed the email directions and went inside. A nice girl said, we are not open. I said I was here for a pickup order. A lady rushed at me waving her arms. I explained they need to change email then. She loudly said, its not our email, ( why cant business accept responsibility for their errors?) and I need you to go outside. All loudly and waving at me. I said, you dont need to treat people like their doing something wrong when theyre following email instructions. She just kept on being loud.They nice girl brought out my order and apologized.USSUALLY...Store is clean, service is friendly. Love their coupons I can use from my email on my phone.

I have had many experiences in this store that havent been good. And I have called corporate and spoken to the manager. But nothing actually changes. From long long lines to employees not helping and definitely NOT going the extra mile. I come from Utah was there 5 years and my store back there was SO friendly and helpful. Ive been here not even 6 month and have had more bad experiences then I ever had out there. So if you come in this store plan on having more bad experiences then good. I choose to continue going because there isnt a store closer to get my crafts and fabric. So I just cross my fingers and hope all will be good this time around.

I went looking for art supplies but that wasnt something they kept well stocked. Not a huge deal, they did have what I wanted just not a lot of other selection. The store was clean and organized, the employees were friendly and the register line was moving quickly. When I need fabric, I will go here.

Ive been here twice. The selection of fabrics is huge and the company also offers other crafting items and seasonal decor. This isnt Hobby Lobby though so dont expect to find the variety of hobby items you would encounter there.Ive purchased athletic mesh for ring slings, fleece, and a pair of leggings and all great quality items.

I can almost always find what Im looking for here. The sales people are really helpful and if they are out of something youre looking for they will check other stores for you to try to find it.

The store was pretty well maintained and the staff was friendly. However, the staff wasnt very knowledgeable about what things were or where they might be found in the store.I did find what I needed, but Im a bit nervous about going back to this location for my next project. Im going to need a good amount of stuff and Im not convinced Ill find it all there or have much help in finding and getting what I need. But Im going to try and well see!
