Dont expect friendly faces here. They want you in and out and they make it clear. If you see someone on register and not busy, still use self checkout because they will be very irritated you choose to use a regular checkout. And by no means interrupt the cackling hens around the customer service desk or floral area. GOODLUCK.

Food selection was good but only 1 regular checkout open and a long line to checkout. They didnt seem to be interested in opening another register.

I wanna give a big shout out to ms.vicky in the bakery. She helped me with putting a cake together over the phone. I had to best experience ever. Every other place I called made it sound so confusing but she hit it spot on. Thank u girl. Your the best. Im sure my teenage sister will love the cake. Please so one give her a raise or a pat on the back for doing her job correctly. SHE DESERVES IT

I had a terrible experience at this location I had purchased seafood from this location that apparently had salmonella it was being recalled so when I heard about the news all over the news I didn’t try to return the meat that I had purchased from them. When I got to the store to return it they had refused to return it three days after I purchased it I asked to speak to a manager they refuse to let me speak to a manager they said that he was in a meeting apparently the directors managers name is Bull Mcadoo. He was the one who refused to return my stuff three days after I purchased it the customer service year was awful they didn’t have any sympathy they didn’t care they didn’t even know about the recall I will never ever ever shop at a Safeway again until the day I die I’ve always thought Safeway was my go to grocery store but after today they are out here selling contaminated meat and they aren’t taking care of their customers they will never get a dollar out of me I will also be reaching out to the health department to let them know about them not returning a recalled product.

Easy to get around, find what you need and get out.

This store is consistently 30% more expensive than the local competing stores. The prices are like convenient store prices... The problem is that it is in a lower middle class neighborhood where two apartment complexes have it as the only option if you walk. I consider the store to be a trap, designed to bleed money from the poor. Especially when you consider how small the store is. I can get enough to make breakfast for two weeks at the other groceries but only two days for the same amount of money at that Safeway. I think Safeway, the chain, is more of a higher class merchant... But this one is in an area where the people who have to shop there are gouged for not being able to get to a cheaper store. The employees are amazing so hopefully that extra money we pay goes to them.

This Safeway is a very clean, friendly store most of the time. Today was not the same, yes store was clean & organized, stocked well. The self serve checkout clerk was not very helpful or very friendly. Could have been a bad day or the way she made me feel, Im pretty sure it was because I was wearing my mask, even though I am fully vaccinated. Thats how she made me feel at least.

Always a breeze at this Safeway. I dont think Ive ever had to wait in line here. Thats a win in my book.

Not enough checkout lanes open. Lines are too long. Employees watch you like everyone there is gonna try to steal something! The ladies restroom is clean though!

I got a couple of things here for lunch, trying to do so as quickly as possible as I was on a time crunch and had a busy day ahead of me. Only to find out that one of the food items I got was bad. I went back in, tired and just wanting to get a replacement and Valerie came to my rescue! She was offended for my sake, especially since she understood how little time you actually have for lunch and after I came back with the replacement after seeing that it was ALSO bad she helped me hunt down a better one almost immediately. She was genuinely friendly and I really felt she cared for my predicament, AND because of her I could have my lunch on time! Thank you so much Valerie!

I usually stop at safeway with the intention to be in and out as quickly as possible and with the self checkout kiosks that is not an issue!

Cathy at customer service basically call me a lier when I attempted to exchange a blue ray movie “Wrath of man”. I bought 4 days ago and the movie won’t play. I explained this to them and she said “people used the electronic codes to download the movie and then attempt to exchange it. I explained I lost the receipt when I took out my groceries. They refused to do anything. I would leave 0 stars if I could. I left the blu ray movie on the counter and walked out. Don’t expect assistance at this Safeway.

Smaller store that has a surprising amount of open space and just slightly less selection than comparable stores. Their generic brand is one of the best Ive tried overall.

I always go to this Safeway, even if another store is closer. Staff will go get items for you if they have any in the back. The last time it was disinfectant wipes and I didnt even ask, she just overheard me and asked if I wanted her to get me some. Super easy to coupon and use their app to save as well. Usually save about 50% on grocery trips there. Staff even will help me find the right products sometimes for deals.

Safeway has some nice products that other grocery stores dont have. I found the perfect pack of fresh baked rolls for the BLT I had planned, also the bacon was on sale. Overall good experience. Oh and the Halloween candy was half off yay

The person (Craig) working the service center would rather take a personal call then help someone waiting. Tried to make a money order, but just left after waiting for a few minutes for him to finish. The lady behind me wanted cigarettes, and even she left.

I was in today and the mask mandate is not being enforced. It was not busy and I counted several customers not wearing masks - not just pulled down/worn improperly, but no mask at all.I previously enjoyed this store - convenient, small, and easy to get in and out of for quick items. This was disappointing.

I wouldnt recommend shopping here regularly especially if you buy things from the discount section with a manufacturer coupon. Today Janet a rude and surly checker rang up an item from discount with a pack of starburst insted of keying in the item or scanning it and overriding the price.I tried to call to complain but the line was picked up then hung up, this tells me there are greater issues with management.Doing what Janet did messes up the inventory system corporate uses to know how much of somthing to send to the store.Also by doing this it prevents manufacturer coupons from being used on some items.But everything else considered Janets customer service skills...well lack there of is apauling. Her atitude need a major adjustment. Your in customer service be nice to the customer insted of rude when the customer is taking just a second to check to the digital coupon was applied.

The prices at Safeway r I was a Safeway shopper all my life and one day they closed our store and I had to go to King Soopers which I thought was very pricey but I stoped and check prices boy was I fooled I got more for my money at King Soopers then Safeways

This safeway is really decent and not very crowded only during dinner hours. Everything is usually stocked. The only problem with this location is the homeless people surrounding the location at times.

I have never had such disrespect and lack of help for a disabled mother shopping with her kids. Only lanes that were open was self check out and made my poor disabled wife with stage 4 breast cancer with bone mets ring up a driving cart full of grocerys pull of heavy products as 3 employees stood right in front of her talking and laughing while she struggled. Shame on you Safeway shame on you!!!!!

Produce was set up perfectly store was clean bright no wait lines will drive out of my way to return

The Safeway store thats in Northglenn Colorado. On there layout plan for produce, the store used to have a plastic bowl full of peeled tangerines. When I spoke with the produce staff, they told me that all I had to do to get the tangerines peeled in a plastic bowl was to call a head or speak with a produce staff member and they would be more than happy to provide me with the tangerine bowls.In addition to the produce department, the deli department does the same when I asked for deep fried items such as burritos, steak fries, chicken egg rolls, and fried chicken.You can even see the store manager working throughout the store.The cashiers and store clerks will even bag your groceries in bags other containers that you bring in, they just have to put on gloves to do it.

If you go through self-checkout and Jacob is on duty, go to the regular cashier. He was extremely rude to us and raised his voice multiple times when the machine kept showing an error message.. It resulted in me telling him to treat his customers better. Not something I would normally do to someone who treats my fiancée and I poorly, but this gentleman crossed the line with the way he talked. Needs serious re-evaluation.

Great clean shopping experience

Well the 3 employees that was in the store very unpleasant and rude. I asked the Butcher if he has any of the Ribeye Steak that was on sale . He said yes and that he would bring them right out. I had been waiting at least 10 mins when he walked out LOOKED at me smiled and walked to the bathroom . When he was done there he provided to walk a few isle.The store is dirty.

As a trans person I am deeply disappointed to hear not only how my friend and roommate Amanda was treated, but also how my other friend Freya was referred to on the phone. This type of behaviour is unacceptable and further litigation will be on the way if something is not done. It is more than obvious that it is not just one person, and that other employees are banding together to defend someone who is being blatantly transphobic.In the future I will be shopping at Target, where it is cheaper and trans women are allowed to use the womens restroom.

If I can give 0 stars I would. The staff here don’t really care about their customers. I was waiting at the fresh deli department and there was nobody working there. Went to the front and asked a worker if anybody was working at the deli department. She said they close at 7pm but it wasn’t even 7pm yet. I showed her the time on my watch & eventually she called over the intercom to get someone to the deli department. I went back and waited but nobody ever showed up!

This store is getting old. The freezer section is making funny noises. They dont carry as many brands as they used too. Good for a quick stop but I will not do a regular shopping trip there. Never fails either going in or out we always get approached by someone begging for money.

If I could give this store location a 0 star rating I would. I truly believe that this location is the worst out of all the Safeway stores. The only time I can shop is on Sunday. Theyre always out of items that are on sale, just for U or Mega deals. Will never substitute or give rain checks. I truly believe they never order enough items stock their shelves. Management in this store is a joke. Tried to get the manager to come down to talk to me and he wouldnt even leave his office. Tried getting the produce manager and he was unavailable. I would die before I go back into the store. The store at 92nd and Thornton Parkway is a much better and nicer store.
