Would not recommend at all drove 3 and half hrs to come and see a truck that i was told on the phone was in perfect condition. Upon arrive car had major rust spots on back and rust spots all over the tail gate didnt work. Wouldnt recommend this place if they gave cars away

Bought a car from them in February, ran great and was a great fit for me, we wrecked on mothers day. Went back yesterday and bought another car from Jim, hes a great caring salesperson who really seems to love his job. They found me another car that fits my personality and will def go back if needed and refer all my friends.

We got a Jeep Patriot from there. Test drove everything looked great. After driving it home it started leaking oil and transmission fluid. They put a bandaid on it to cover up all problems. 5000 later we have a fixed car. Never go there they are hacks.

Budget Car Mart sold me a car and 3 weeks after the purchase the transmission is gone on the vehicle. Yes things do happen with used cars however I found out that this make and model shouldn’t even have been sold in the first place because it is a part of an class action lawsuit against the actual car company. The model is no longer being produced because the transmission was going to go out no matter what. In order to sell cars I believe you should know what you are selling to your customers. Now we are out of 6,000 dollars!!! I called to get some information and no one has responded! I think that’s very irresponsible and unprofessional!! Buyers beware!! Before purchasing a car from this place so your homework because they obviously don’t!! Now I will have to take legal action of course!!

I bought a car from Budget car Mart and five days later the frame broke on the car. Thank God I didnt Hurt myself orsomeon3 else. I let them know about it and didnt care its $ for the car I can only drive for 5 days saved up the money for that car

Just recently, I needed a vehicle and I saw a listing at this location. I was wary, but thought maybe I would give them a second chance...The car I purchased this time around test drove great and looked to be in decent condition; it seemed very well taken care of despite the high mileage. Not a week later on my way to work, a wheel flew off ! And now since last week, the transmission is in need of a 2000+ dollar repair.Budget Car Mart sells UNSAFE vehicles, I could very well have lost my life driving this car ! They make it a point not to say a word about each car either, because they know what theyre selling ! Take your hard-earned money somewhere else, dont waste it at Budget Car Mart !

Hello there: I was at Budget Car Mart ..a year ago in March I had saved up money to buy a nice vehicle to get to work. I live in Bedford hts the dealership is in Norton Ohio about a 40 minute drive or so. I saw a truck wanted to look at it was a 2008 Ford Expedition El grey. I took the truck on a test drive for about 10 minutes or so. I liked it.. the sales person told me the battery runs down sometime, but other than that its a good running truck. I said I can get a new battery,and I purchased the truck. I drove it to my street and it stop running I pushed it in my driveway. I went to get a new battery,and I put it in the truck. I latter drove the truck that day, it was shaking and acting weird it cut off on me again this time I had towed it to a shop to have it tested.they got back to me in a few days to tell me that the computer was shot and the engine was about to blow.they also said it would cost more to fix the truck then the true value of the truck.I was saddened.I didnt have that type of money. I then called and emailed the Budget Car Mart they kept blowing me off they never responded to any of my attempts to contact them ..the service they gave me was terrible.I am a #Veteran they thank me for my service when I purchase the truck. I paid over $3k for this truck not including repairs...I never put more than a hundred miles on this truck and had to scrap it,they treated me a #NavyVeteran like I didnt matter to this day I have never received any contact with Budget Car Mart I just wanted another car or truck because..that was a #LEMON!!!! My hope is that im the only who had this type of experience I will never purchase a car from this lot again,they did me wrong!!

I bought a car here 5 years ago was 100% Happy! Well its car search time again for me and I was pleased to see a great deal on line for a car I really liked here again!! When I got there I was given 100% run around and was being played for a fool!On line was a New years special for 2010 Fusion $2,500. When I get there sticker on car says $7,000. I questioned the situation and the sales man said he would be right back. He was, but only to whisper in my ear that I didnt want that car because the transmission was going out of it, but he had a great deal on another vehicle! A Dodge avenger with over 200,000 miles! I am offended by this sales tactic because its unethical to say the least! I will not return and do not recommend anyone to spend their hard earned money at a place trying to steal it!

So I spoke for a day or 2 with TJ the salesman and he was nothing but truthful and honest. I appreciate the honesty. He is great at his job and I would recommend finding him if youre interested in a vehicle. He will not give you the run around that is usually given when buying a car.

They have a good selection of car. The thing is this place has budget cars. They do what they can to make them road worthy. They have higher miles but most of them run great. For under 10k the cars are good for what they are. They are as honest as they can be. One thing I would say is working air conditioning is there one set back. 55% dont work. Besides that they are what they are.

I’ve bought many cars at the Akron lot and had great experiences. But all the cars here were junk. Some of them not even safe to test drive. However, the variety they have is amazing and the sales people are great. The manager (I’m assuming he’s manager because he never introduced himself) was quite rude and caused me to walk away from the place and I will likely never return. Just be very careful when shopping here and try to ignore the condescending manager.

They suck sold me a messed up car for 5000.00 and a day later check engine light came on and has a bunch of issues. I recommend you do not go here to buy a car. They are not honest at all.

I don’t really recommend this place. My girlfriend spent 5k on an 07 Mazda CX-7. The check engine light came on the day after she bought it and the passenger side A Arm pulled away from the car because the subframe is completely rotted out. If you have to shop here, because I understand how it is being poor, I would definitely advise taking a mechanic with you to inspect it. It’s gonna cost is $2,500 just to get it road worthy again and have it plated.

Didnt talk to anyone but looked at cars in the lot. I was very disappointed. Most of the vehicles are not worth the price they have on them. They are overpriced for the condition of the cars and trucks. I wouldnt recommend going there if you need a car. Dont think they are dependable. Sorry.

Bought a car that “just had oil changed and was inspected” next day there’s a puddle of pitch black, thick oil under my car. took it to the mechanics to fix the $500 part that needed replaced then pulled out of the mechanics with my infant in the back seat, and the ball joint unloaded which very well could be life threatening. an employee said they’d pay for 100 out of the 1,000 we had to pay to get it fixed and when we called to give them our info, they got snobby, started arguing that nothing was wrong with the car and then hung up. they are just all around unprofessional, inconsiderate, and rude. thank god i wasn’t driving down the road with my baby in the back when the ball joint unloaded....

Last month I was in the looks for a new car! I had a 2003 Toyota Camry XLE. Nice car with a couple issues. Terry at trusty cars and credit kept an eye it for a car in my budget and reliable for my school and work regime. A couple days after I spoke with him, he called me about a 2010 Chevy Malibu. I loved the car and he gave me a great deal!! Traded in my car for 1800 and he took 1000 of the lot price just because he knew of my situation and really wanted me to have this car. Terry, thank you for giving me a great deal on a car I not only wanted but needed, and for taking on my car for a very reasonable price. I’m so happy with my new car!! Thank you terry! Hmm.. I think they might be rip off artists. The truck we looked at and considered for a minute but asked if they could come down some and stay that price out the door. Nope, no room to budge & then all of the sudden someone else was there to look at that same truck.Then they called or text a few days later offering a lower price.

Tons of vehicles to choice from. I ended up buying a grand Cherokee and have had it for a couple weeks and absolutely love it. I did have to put a couple bucks in it but hey it’s a used car and I bought for a very good price. Everybody was very nice and a very easy place to buy from. No pressure at all and Craig did not represent that every car was perfect like most used car salesmen I have dent with.

Just went down to take a look at the inventory. Although prices seem to be decent, most vehicles have very high mileage. Not really sure if you can consider these vehicles good deals. Definitely would take one of these cars to my mechanic for evaluation before writing a check.

Bought a truck had no warning lights on of any kind.... THE VERY NEXT DAY I’m having all kinds of electrical issues and the check engine light is on.. the battery dies daily... they are definitely clearing codes and just out to make a sale regardless of quality...

Bought a jeep Cherokee here a couple months ago for $3100. Yes the check engine light was on but they let me take it to my mechanic and get it scanned. It was an oxygen sensor...no big deal cheap fix. The Jeep Kelly blue booked for over $5000. My sales person Craig was very nice and not pushy at all. Highly recommend.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! I spent $4200 on a truck 2 days ago and was told it only needed an “oil change” I brought it home where it sat til I had the oil changed. First time on the road the radiator blew in multiple spots, began to spray coolant and smoke badly. Started to overheat so upon getting it home I called and spoke to a rep who decided to tell me to dump more money into this lemon and for lack of better words “TOUGH LUCK!” Refused to look at it, refused to give me my money back and now I’m stuck with a $4200 paper weight. Save your time and money these ppl are con artists with no respect for a hard working individual with kids who no longer have a way to get to and from appointments because of the pos car that should’ve been sold to a scrap yard!!!!!!!

I bought a car last year May and noticed a huge discrepancy in the amount I paid for the car versus what was stated on my title. Before I get to that Id like to explain their sales tactics. 1) They contract with mechanics nearby to encourage them to keep vital repairs off the list of things that need to be fixed - they are contracted with SS Tire and Repair so do not go to them for an estimate. If you want a correct estimate go to the cars dealership, 2) they will tell you that they wont give YOU the car and then walk away making you believe they dont want to give the car to you - this is done when they dont want to lower the price on the car - I fell for this and ended up paying a bit more for the car than I wanted. 3) they changed the price of the car to $2000 on paper and then charged a bogus $200 document fee that I didnt notice until I received the title that stated I purchased the car for $2,200. Make sure to look closely at your documents so you do not get scammed. There will only be one set of fees they should be able to clearly outline for you. If they cant - walk away. I have turned so many people away from buying a car from them because of their greed. Scamming people for $200? Really? That sounds like desperation to me. The mechanic I went to was SS Tire and Repair (their mechanic is Andy, however, Im sure you know why you shouldnt go there) who deleted significant needed repairs from my report, including brake repair and under the hood maintenance. I lost about $500 from the whole deal. Read this message carefully before purchasing from them. They will find a way to steal from you. Also, dont let them put their license plate cover on your vehicle because thats free advertising for them - charge them $600 for that or get your own plate cover! (I feel it important to mention that I am a Black American since we are more likely to get scammed, receive high interest rates, etc.). Additionally, they clear codes as they did so on a 2001 Honda Accord I bought from them in the early 2000s.Edit: In response to the owners rebuttal of lies. There were two document fees on my sale contract: one for the exact amount of $200 and another for the amount of one hundred and thirty something dollars and some change. Correct me if Im wrong (actually dont cause I know Im correct) there should ONLY BE ONE DOCUMENT FEE LISTED and as a total price. And yes, YOU DO HAVE A CONTRACT WITH SS TIRE, which is why they were on the phone with your company describing all malfunctions with the car causing them to subsequently leave off over $300 of needed repairs. Even further, when we sat down to discuss the price the $200 document fee was not even on the contract! When the salesperson saw that I wouldnt budge on the price he left to talk to the manager, came back to the table, balled up the contract that was in front of me and presented me with the one that stated the car was being sold for $2000 and placed the other $200 in the document section. As stated earlier, the car was sold to me for $2,200 and not the $2,000 I was led to believe. Budget Car Marts deceit with me cost you many customers who saw my car and wanted something simple. I mean was $300-500 really worthy losing thousands from negative advertising? Not a smart decision on your part. This company cheated the wrong black person. Ps. the salesperson is an older guy, probably the oldest one there...do not go to him. I also bought a car from them a few years ago when I was in college and was ripped off then, too. That guy was younger, I believe his name was Adam, so avoid him as well. They cleared codes on that vehicle and definitely just wanted to make a sale just as the other person who also gave one star stated. If you want a good car DO NOT GO HERE. If your instinct tells you to leave then leave. Also, if you notice their responses include sorry dont buy into it, it is a sales tactic to deter possible buyers from believing that they really do scam people.

Nice cars but high mileage

Bout a vehicle from the location on Arlington rd in green. When I first looked at it and noticed water on the floor board I was told the windows were left down and it had rained. Well why Weren’t the seats and doors wet. Just standing water in the floor. I dismissed this but was lied to by the sales person. Later I found it was the sunroof drain holes that were clogged but was lied to by the same person for a sale.Also the fan speed only worked on high. The sales person had the nerve to tell me well I only run mine on high. Found out it was a switch behind the glove box and had to fix it as well. Really though a salesperson telling someone you don’t need the other fan speeds. Just wanting that sale and money.Seems like anything I mentioned about noises or concerns the salesman had a quick response to it. I said the alignment seems off cause the wheel wasn’t straight he said might be low air in a tire.Then had to go with me and the wife while we test drove it. I took the side roads and ran it through it’s paces. He said I’ve never had anyone take a vehicle for a test drive like this. I told him well the X-way won’t show me how it turns stops starts and take hills and bumps will it.I planned to take it to my mechanic but felt rushed by the salesperson so against better judgment I bought it anyway. I needed a vehicle ASAP. After dropping more money into it after buying it’s now running good. Thanks to me and my mechanic and maintenance being caught up.Next when I looked at the vehicle they showed me the car fax and that was the last time I seen it. I called back a few days later to ask for it and they told me it was already gone with the trash. Then told me I can get one myself. Yeah I just spent all I had in this vehicle I don’t have extra for a $40 car fax report.Not me but a friend went there he wanted to buy a vehicle with loan from a bank and was told he wasn’t allowed to because his credit was too good. Who says this. Your trying to sell vehicles and you tell someone NO because their credit is too good.For these reason I do not recommend budget car mart. They sales people were friendly until they make a sale then after no help at all.

You cant please everyone. Even if you purchase a new car, Ive seen piston rings need replacing on 2018 models, and used cars that drive fine for years with no issues. It all depends on how previous owners take of their vehicles. Some folks just get in and drive. Dealers have no control over that.

Buyer beware!!!! I bought a truck from them within 2 days there was a check engine light on. I drove the vehicle for a while to make sure everything was good. Clearly they must be clearing the codes.

I bought a car for my 18 year old son 11 days ago. Went and had new tires put on car and tried to have a front end alignment done. Could not have the alignment done because the car was unsafe to drive. Tie rods, bushings, stabilizer links front and rear and multiple other issues. Yes older car...however I was told by a reputable shop that this car was a safety hazard to drive and we were lucky that my son was not in a accident. Apparently my sons safety was not a concern when we were there. My son could of been killed just driving it home. Then when I called, I could not speak to the manager. This was my first experience buying a car here and definitely will be the last. I will fix the issues, but I want everyone to know if you buy a car here definitely have a mechanic check it out. We were fortunate that nothing happened but someone else might not be so lucky. I will be sure to tell everyone I know and the many people I come in contact with to never purchase a car from this place. Why???Because I would hate to hear someone gets in a accident or even looses their life driving a hazardous vehicle from this place. Don’t give out a Carfax that are dishonest. I hope this business gets some ethics and tells their customers the truth. Just so sad ...can’t trust anyone these days.
