Very knowledgeable and professional, our lawnmowers are old classics that today’s mowers can’t touch, and he knows everything about them and has the parts usually in stock when we need them, keep up the good work.

Spoke last week over the phone with this rude guy that claims to be the owner of this repair piece of sh... and asked me to bring my weed trimer that quit working to look at it. Went there today to see this rude guy and was told he wont touch my machine that is still under warranty because the manufacturer wont pay him enough to repair it. Question: why the manufacturer, in this cane Troy-Bilt has authorized this piece of sheet guy and his business to be their dealer? If you dont want to waste your time, I advice to stay away from this very bad place and even worst, its owner. Just look other reviews that speak by themselves.

This owner is the most unprofessional human begin I have ever encounter. I called this afternoon to look into my lawn mowers warranty and servicing, and the guy on the phone was, for no apparent reason, talking over me, communicating sarcastically, and then swore at me with the f-bomb because I asked why he was being sarcastic about the issue I was experiencing with my lawn mower. It was a simple inquiry, I was polite and just looking for help. This managers attitude and treatment was unwarranted and filthy low. We hanged up the call at pretty much the same time, and I took my business somewhere else. I never leave reviews, but that was just despicable behavior. I am from the neighborhood and will make sure none of my friends go to this place.

The proprietor has always treated me well and delivered great service. Any repairs needed were provided satisfactorily. I believe I always receive accurate advice before spending a lot of money, including not continuing with the repair.

I am reading all these bad reviews and I am kind of mystified. I have been going here for years and always been treated fairly. Occasionally it takes a little longer than he said but that beats waiting 3 months at Norfolk Power. Fair prices and the owner is a nice guy!

Rude doesnt begin to explain it. I brought them a snow blower to repair the belts. He charged me $149. I got it home and added gas. It immediately started to leak. I did NOT leak gas before. Therefore HE broke it. I brought it back and he immediately said well you broke the carburetor. I didnt break it he did. He is a predator and breaks your machine so he can make more money. He treats everyone with disdain, He is someone to stay away from. I plan on bringing him to court.

The employees of Universal Power Repair are incredibly rude. First, I called and asked if they stocked a simple pull starter for a specific snowblower. I was immediately told that I needed the part number and was hung up on. Later, I called back with the part number and was met with, You called me earlier?! Yeah, hold on and was placed on hold for 10+ minutes.I hung up and attempted to call back, but their phone was unplugged...

This place is a scam and the owner is very rude, racist and dishonest. I took my lawn mover for after the season maintenance, i paid a good price we get ready for next season, this spring i want to do my first lawn cut and the mover did not work. I co tact the owner and now he want another $92 to repair it, He started to yell at me and He said, “ I know how you people are” I am a gay latino guy. He never did the maintenance that i paid in December and now he want more money. I ended buying a new one. It is cheaper and i do not have to deal with bad dishonest racist people.

DO NOT GO HERE! Worst place ever. No quotes on how much it will cost, said about $50 for a new pull cord charged me $90. Then it wouldnt start, one would think he might try and start it and if it didnt work give me a call and tell me there is more wrong. Nope instead when I brought it back is my fault carburetor, maybe air filter, maybe I pulled the cord wrong. He gave it a tune up last year and I mowed my lawn 6 times last year before winter. He took no responsibility blamed me, this guy is a crook and rude DO NOT GO HERE!

This guy is terrible. Overcharges for basic repairs (no quote in advance either) and lectures you for not taking care of the machinery or buying crappy stuff from Home Depot. I live 2 miles from the shop but would drive 20 miles to avoid this guy.

I had him fix my snowblower in November. Ive used it only twice and now it wont start. When I called to talk about it and see if hed look at it again, he blamed me for not putting in an additive in the gas. When I got the machine back from him, the tank was nearly full. if it needed an additive, he should have made sure it was in. Ive only used another half-tank since it was fixed. Now hes saying that I might have to rebuild the carburator. This is horrible customer service. He wont be getting my business anytime soon.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. He talked down to me and treated me like I was an idiot. Will never go back there. I’ll go up to the place right up the street across from the Civic Center.

This place had no recording to say they were closed for a week so I drove all the way here to see a sign taped to the door. Came back the day they were supposed to be reopened - still dark in there. NOT coming back.

They were extremely rude! I wouldnt buy from them EVER.
