Great neighborhood mechanic - have been taking my cars here for decades.

Been coming here for a few years. Mike is honest, doesnt take advantage of you if youre a woman. Cant say that about my past experiences with other machanics, especially dealerships.

Brought in a used vehicle I was looking to buy in the area, the mechanic was polite and knowledgeable about the vehicle, he checked everything.

Mike is an honest and very capable diagnostician and mechanic, and a nice person besides. Though I have moved out of Nutley, I still bring my car to him for service, because I trust him and I know my car is in good hands. (P.S. Just FYI, the gas pumps are run by a third party, and are not under Mikes control. My comments pertain only to Mike and to maintenance and repairs.)

I’ve been coming to J&N for years, they’ve always treated me fairly.There have been times my car has been making noises / rattling and they took care of some minor adjustments without even charging. Great service, helpful staff.

Cannot trust these guys, was bringing my car for 2 years and at first they offered a fair price, but once they knew I trusted them they started to raise the price significantly and had poor quality. Got my brakes and rotors done here and they did a poor job, car shakes whenever I break at highway speed. Also, they told me it would cost $2,100 to fix my catalytic converter by changing my entire exhaust system, I spoke with my brother in law who used to be a mechanic and he told me that was double what any other mechanic would charge. I brought my car to A Plus Auto Repair in Nutley for a second opinion and they were able to solder in a new catalytic converter for $800. I checked the solder job they did and it was top notch, it got rid of my check engine light and has been working great ever since. Do not bring your car here, even it may seem convenient because of their location.

Every time I need anything done to my truck, whether its an oil change, brakes, or new tires - I go to J&N. The owner, Mike, is not only very nice but hes honest & knowledgable.

Scumbags the lot of them, they made fun of me for not having a brand new vehicle and refused to work on it when I was polite, friendly and willing to pay. They shouldn’t be in business

Every time I fuel up at the pumps the Employee Runs a Scam Charges you more than what the Pump Price is or Tells you he dont have Change and Rounds the Price to the nearest Dollar which he Shorts You I Wouldnt Go to that Fueling Station!!
