This store is scamming customers with extra “store charge fees”They charged me $55 store charge and when I ask for what it was they said it was because of them handling the phone and the service they provided.I should have been change only for the taxes of the phone. There was no backed up done or no time spent on this phone. It was a brand new phone where I had to do the activation myself

I came into this Verizon store later in the afternoon with my daughter yesterday to get a new phone for her and I. We both upgraded to an IPhone 12. Not only did Alex (the manager), and Luis (staff member) help us immensely but took their time explaining everything ! Never rushed us and answered all of our questions fully.But a BIG SHOUT OUT to the employee Luis who stayed after hours as my phone was taking very long (because it was old and had a lot of stuff on it) to switch everything over to the new phone. It was well after 8pm that I was still there as he was also helping me figure everything out with new phone as I’m not very technologically savvy! I couldn’t thank him enough!I HIGHLY recommend this store when you’re looking to upgrade your phone! They are fantastic! Great customer Service!

Worst Verizon store ever! If I could give this place zero stars, then I gladly would.I initially called and spoke to the manager (Alex) about whether or not a promotion was available for the second generation SE. He said yes and told me that I could purchase the phone for $100 (it retails for anywhere from $399 to $449). I decided to take advantage of the deal and came in to see him and make the purchase.Alex assured me that my monthly bill would not go up after making the purchase. But after paying $114 in the store (including taxes and fees), I received a bill that was nearly $100 higher than my normal monthly bill. When I called Alex to complain, he got defensive and claimed that he had explained all of the additional charges to me in the store and that the best he could do was award me a $35 credit.I wound up calling Verizon customer service and spoke to someone who explained that Alex also charged me for insurance (mind you he never asked if I wanted the insurance nor did he explain that there would be additional costs for it). The customer service representative refunded my activation fee, refunded me for the cost of the insurance, and made notes to award a credit to my monthly bill so that it would remain exactly as it was before the purchase. So while I have to give credit where credit is due (kudos to Verizon Customer Service!), I also feel obligated to warn customers about purchasing from this Verizon store. Alex is more concerned about his profits than he is about his customers!

Worst run business I have ever been to. We were told one price and agreed, upgraded our plan, they didnt have the phones in stock so we had to order them. When we went to pick them up, $500 was magically added on to the price of each phone. Then a song and dance about what they will do to make it only $400 more than agreed on. There is a reason why this store is always empty. Dont waste your time here.

I am a Nutley resident and have never tried this store until yesterday. Luis Tejada was incredible. He helped me get great value on my trade in and got me set up with my new phone. He took the time to answer every question and not make me feel rushed. And he even helped transfer all my stuff onto my new phone. Would go back any time!

Came to this store because it’s relatively close to home & THANK GOD i did, i believe a young man named or alexis helped me, my previous iphone 10x stopped working so I had to upgrade, he was SUPER nice, he explained everything thoroughly, he was funny! we talked about our kids and places in the area, what i liked about this place is it just wasn’t a come in get your phone and go it felt like a neighborhood old school business! i had to come back to get my phone and alex set it up, put my glass protector on, explained how my first bill would look, and the difference i’d be paying for, which was very accurate! I WONT GO ANYWHERE ELSE! kudos to this verizon store!

Came at 6 o’clock. The place is closed. The hours on the door say 8 PM and the hours on Google say 7pm.

The Nutley Verizon is by far the most efficient Verizon location! I have been coming here for many years now! The staff has changed but there isn’t one time that I go there that I am not taking care of the same every single time! Everyone here answers all my questions. They explain to me what the best outcome is. The speed on these people is also great who really wants to sit setting up a phone for hours. They are super fast and get it right every time! Ed the store manager is amazing and so professional. He helped me set up 2 phones under an hour. The team there isn’t there to take your money they are there to insure you get exactly what you want and need every time! I highly recommend this location for anyone that is looking to switch over to Verizon or that currently has it and wants to switch to a new phone!

Do not come this place! It is not eve worth it the effort to drive here! It will just be a waste of your time, cause they will just ask for your money and would not even say what it is for!

I am from California and lost my phone last week. I needed it for my drive back home. I couldnt find a Verizon Store open anywhere. Alex was a life saver stayed even after it was time to close just to make sure I was taken care of. Thank you guys for helping me.

Verizon website says the this place also set up Verizon TV and Verizon FiOS service that is incorrect. This is a cell phone store. Verizon website should update their info about their stores. I wasted time coming here.

You need more trading for employees to help with the service

Today I went to the Verizon store in Nutley, New Jersey. So much went wrong. First of all, I believe the man helping us was named Alexis. I came because my phone was having trouble working. He didn’t try to fix it, he didn’t even look at the phone. He was more interested in getting money. I didn’t want a new phone since I wanted to switch to a better phone company, but he would not fix the phone or give me the same thing one (an iphone 8). I had to pay for an iPhone 8SE. He didn’t even set up the phone for me like I asked him too. He did not transfer anything from my old phone either. I am missing all of my photos that I had for years. I am missing all of my contacts. Overall, very poor costumer service.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS GARBAGE PLACE!!! Not customer friendly, very unprofessional employee. A bad representation of Verizon! This store makes the company look bad!

There was a gentleman there that was so condescending that I refused to spend that kind of money at his store, I walked out.Ill never walk in that location again.What kills me is he knew I was a local chamber member.I guess he expects people to drop $1,500 within a minute and not ask a question

Met a seller of a used phone at her choice of this facility. Wow it was worth the 30 minute drive. Sean greeted us upon arrival, and got right to work wiping the sellers info and getting mine installed. He was courteous, efficient, adept and knowledgeable. What a find! Strikingly superior to Oakland store visited the day before, where I wasted 40 minutes getting nowhere. Thank you, Sean!

I went to this Verizon and was helped by a young man named Kane he was very respectful and kind he helped me save a Ton of money!!! on my bill and got me in a brand new device if that isn’t great service i don’t know what is. Lines are short and I didn’t have to wait around like some of the other Verizon stores in the area, I recommended him/this place to all my friends and family. WISH I COULD GIVE MORE STARS!!!!

Very professional and knowledgeable

I arrived at this store at 11am when the store opened but had to wait 10 minutes in order for the clerk to sign on to his computer. I said I needed a new phone because my phone had died. (It fell into my cats water bowl ☹️) He asked for a 4 digit number to sign on to my account but the 2 four digit numbers that I use wouldn’t let him sign in. He then tried to take out the SIM card and put it into another device and 20 minutes later he said it can’t be done. What!!!! how can that be??? So after 30 minutes I left without a new phone. Soooo disappointing!

I was heading to Verizon as a new costumer to trade in my old phone. Angela took me right away and way very helpful! She made the process easy and fast.

The Nutley Verizon Express is by far the best store I have been to ! The staff is so kind and helpful ! I left there and recommended at least 5 people that week because of how awesome this place is ! I got my new phone and they transferred all my stuff from my old phone over for me, 2 days later they helped set up my Apple Watch ! The staff goes above and beyond and I’m so happy my family and I found this store

When I walked in I was greeted right away and Sally offered to help me. I only came in with a charger but she checked my account and saw that Im due for an Up grade and saw that Im paying more for my actual usage. She presented me with some options without theven feeling of getting pressured. She is very friendly, professional, genuine and thorough. I felt very welcome in the Store and definitely will come back again and recommend my friends and neighbors to come here. Excellent customer service.

I went to Clifton and all they did was send me to the apple store and did not want to be bothered with my situation. I am not tech savvy and Ed is such a wonderful human being. Awful is to kind of a word. On Friday November 3,2017 I called this location. I spoke with a Brando Guzman. He told he he would hold iPhone X if I get there in the next 20mins. When I arrived after picking up my kids. Brando sat with me ready to sell me the iPhone X . However Mr. Guzman stated that he could not sell me the phone unless I also purchase and additional $100 in accessories!!! I told him why didn’t he disclose this on the phone when I called. He did not answer my questions. When I asked to speak to a manager Mr. Guzman said their managers don’t speak to clients ! When I told him you cannot say one thing on the phone and change the terms of sale in the store. Brandon Guzman said that this is the way Verizon Wireless does business. I do not recommend this location to anyone.

The staff at the Nutley Verizon dealer were very helpful. They were great throughout the process of selecting a new phone, sharing various plan options, and transferring all the data from my existing phone to my new phone. They even came out to my car to help connect the bluetooth. It was my best experience with a Verizon retail store.

This is the place to go if you want to get your phone or verizon wireless service taken care of (comparatively speaking). The crowds at the verizon wireless on route 3 are atrocious compared to this location where there are no crowds.The staff there are helpful and knowledgeable, I was able to get my new phone and they worked with me for over an hour to make sure I had what I needed. I definitely recommend this location.

CRIMINALS. I wish I could give 0 stars. I went in to this store to simply have serviced switched from one phone to another. When I checked my online bill a couple of weeks later I found that they added an additional device and bill which I NEVER SIGNED UP FOR. After several calls and visits, it has still not been resolved after multiple promises for it to be corrected by Sally. It was clear that the representative who assisted me put the device on my account and kept it for himself and took it out of their inventory. I asked them to review their cameras to see that I when I visited I left with only the device I brought inside. Dont go here! They will give you nothing but fake smiles, empty promises and unrequested services.
