I was pleasantly surprised by Big 5, not only did they have the product I was looking for, but they had it in my size! It can be difficult to find footwear that fits me, especially in brick and mortar stores, but they had what I wanted and at a decent price... I cant tell you how rare that is

A small town store with limited variety but an overall good inventory. The store is always clean and well organized. There is always multiple employees working nd available for assistance without hovering.

Love the items I bought. Was followed by employees and like I was stealing went and checked out with both managers standing there and then my card cleared for almost 400 dollars they both look stupid that is discrimination at its finest.

I came here a week ago looking for a knife and they didn’t offer to help, per the usual, and their trash was full.Came here today, again looking for a knife, and I said to the floor worker “hey did you know your trash is full? Somewhat limited supply when compared to larger sporting goods stores, but the customer service is AMAZING. Lydia helped save our little league season by getting us discounts on bats, catchers gear and cups for some of the boys. Thank you guys so much!

Fantastic experience yesterday shopping for soccer gear for my 6 year old. I had no idea what he needed and he is usually super hard to work with do to sensory issues. Add to that the fact that he is heavy set, we needed extra help finding gear that fit. The lady that helped us was very knowledgeable and patient.We love coming here!

Absolutely great place. I go there for hiking gear and outdoor items. They usually have a bunch of deals going, Ive purchased hiking boots there several times for at least 50% off each time. Staff are nice and its a cool store.

We Love Our Big 5. Almost always has what we need and sometimes things we didnt know we needed. The staff is friendly and so helpful. Every year my mom comes to visit from Florida at Christmas and with three grandsons we always end up there to shop. They always remember her and go out of their way to help. Great place and even better people!❤

Weird selection but they seem to have everything.

At Big 5 I purchased a fishing license and was able to shop for gear without having to wait to have the license processed. All The store clerk needed was my ID and everything was ready at the register to purchase along with the gear I picked up. Good,fast service.

Most Big 5s are the same. They have a good variety of sports equipment at decent prices and this ones no different. I usually in this store and dont have any complaints. Good customer service.

Came in to buy a kayak, really wanted a sit-in not a sit-aboard but they didnt have any on the floor. Female employee was pretty sure they had one in the shipment they had received that morning, she went and pulled it for us, still wrapped in plastic and all. Bought it and love it :)

The employees seemed annoyed and rude at me being there. It was 3 in the afternoon on a Tuesday, way before closing and it just seemed weird that they were so rude. They get 3 stars only because I got a usually-$65 pair of hiking shoes for $20.

Very helpful and had exactly what we were looking for.

Wide selection of workout clothes. Only one dressing room. I had about $ 200 dollars worth of clothes I wanted to buy, but since the one and only dressing room was occupied, I left after 20 minutes of waiting without a single purchase.

Big 5 in Oak Harbor has a friendly and helpful staff. Prices are reasonable particularly if you catch one of their many sales.

Big 5 needs a facelift especially this one you almost dont even notice it from the road its set back a little bit behind some bushes tough to see but they got everything any other Big 5 going to have..

Very rude male manager I believe,,,,7 minutes after making a cash purchase for 156.00 dollars. I went back to return 100 dollars worth because it didnt fit my husband...I paid full bill in cash and told the lady at register I am returning these they dont fit him and she called manager he is like I dont have that much cash,, would you take a gift card..ammm NO I paid in cash and this is all withing 10 minutes. We dont live in area as we are on vacation so please give me cash back as I paid you in cash. They did and as we looked around he kept giving us dirty looks and making us feel very uncomfortable....not sure why they ask for ID if its a cash purchase and cash return with receipt same hour...smh. Never will shop here again and will warn all my friends and family

I dont understand the review that complained about food. It is a sporting goods store.It is ok. It seemed understaffed and the selection of sports related things were ok. We got an ok deal on roller blades for my wife.That being said I didnt especially care because I am used to better camping and bicycle items in sporting goods stores.If you are looking for bikes go downtown to Skagit Cycle. They are local and better.
