I realize we are in the middle of a pandemic when people are paid more to stay home than they are to work, but the staff here leaves a lot to be desired. Youd be better off staffing your store with a potted plant.I asked a simple question to the gentleman (oops did I assume their gender?) with long hair. He truly had no clue and Im not even sure the sounds I heard were words. More like grunts.But hey, he was busy cutting and pasting some cute shapes. Why would I expect him to know anything about the items the store sells? its more important to cut and paste like youre in preschool. Dont bother getting up from your chair. Dont mind me, I just have money Im trying to give you. Never mind.

I am here now 10:07 on 3/9/21. I walked in said hello, only one cashier she said nothing in reply. I said hello a second time. She mumbled hello. I stood at the side of cashier to get her attention for two minutes. She didnt acknowledge me. She was checking her emails. I was the only customer in the store.Poor customer service. I would not recommend to go here

Im always delighted when I visit this Paper Source. Every time I visit, the team is friendly and very helpful - they are also infinitely patient as I spend 20 minutes admiring every card on the shelf! This is my go to place for cute cards, gift bags, tissue paper, and now gift wrapping! Every few months there are totally new and exciting patterns of gift bags and wrapping paper - they have definitely upped my present-giving game! Now I give the best looking presents at the party :)

Perfect place for preciously priced presents

Very friendly staff. If you need a greeting card (i.e., birthday, anniversary, etc.) they have a nice selection. Their selection of wrapping paper is amazing, buy more importantly for dudes, they sell these box kits with tissue paper for the inside and a long ribbon to wrap around the box and tie a bow. I am gift wrapping handicapped in the worst way and I just made an amazing looking gift for my girlfriend. The prices are a little steep, but hey, we live in Oak Park and we can spread the wealth around. I really like this place.

The Service I was Provided was Amazing

It was my first time to go there and when I walked in I felt welcomed. The lady that greeted me showed what type of wrapping paper is better and what kind of deals they got. She helped in trying to help me save money. The wrapping takes a couple of minutes but it turn out beautiful.

I just adore the Paper Source. Of course, it does nothing but enable my stationary addiction, but hey, why not. My husband sat in the bar next door while I shifted through the stacks of funny books and beautiful papers. FYI, the wrapping paper is around $4 and is beautiful. I bought a map of Chicago with the intent to frame for my sons room.

They had lots of cute knick knacks. Prices were reasonable. The store was clean and organized. Paper choices were abundant and the staff was helpful.

Our group pottery class was fun and informative. The end products were nice and you can take them away with an additional fee.

Best little card shop in Oak Park

A unique combination of craft store, stationer, and card shop. Interesting gifts if you are looking for the hard to please. Staff very helpful. Quality merchandise.

Did a wonderful job at wrapping a gift. Lots of pretty papers for wedding and all occasions.

Great product just like every paper source, but this is the only one where I wasn’t greeted at all and the store was pretty empty. Normally paper source staff at other locations are highly welcoming, warm, and helpful, no matter how busy.

Excellent customer service (Kelsey, you rock!). Quickly identified exactly what I needed over the phone, confirmed price and inventory and got me in and out in five minutes.

The workshops are the best, the staff is very friendly.

Really nice stationary

Wow some of these reviewers are sad, bitter, ungrateful and ignorant people!Alex wrapped a present for me. He helped me pick the right supplies and went to work. It was my first time at paper source. He stayed late wrapping my gift even though it was a super busy night. It was the most goregous wrap job Id ever seen.The gift was for my patient, she cried as soon as she saw it because it was so beautifully done.Alex if you are reading this I want you to know she is doing so much better and I thank you for what you did for us!I will be using this store for all my gift wrapping in the future. You should too.
