Great customer service, BUT they sold me a car with an oil leak and only the front set of brakes were new. The control arm bushings are all broken and the rattling has been going on since I brought the car home.You know how much this is going to cost me???None of this was evident until I was driving back over the hill after purchasing the vehicle. Im sure theres something I could have done to prevent this, but I expected something a little more reliable sense I am spending $15k.. do better.

I took my Acura TL in on July 2, 2021 for service of free warranty recall item, the replacement of the potentially fatal Takata airbags. When the car was returned to me, I was told that the work was done, but that if I wanted the red dashboard SRS warning light to go off, I would have to pay $179.99.. So, not a free repair at all.Imagine how I felt: The free repair is done, lady, but if you want that light off, it will cost you $179.99.I certainly did not feel like a valued customer.And how am I to renew my cars registration and pass the smog check? Impossible with this warning red light on the dashboard.Moreover, the Acura web page states explicitly that if the red SRS dashboard warning light is on, one or more of the vehicles airbags will FAIL TO DEPLOY IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH.So Ill be injured or killed in the event of a serious crash, because the airbags will not deploy to save my life. The red lighted SRS warning light now shining on my dashboard tells me this, per Acuras website.

If you have a trade, go somewhere else. This dealer will through all excuses to low ball to pennies or kick the trade if they see no benefits to them. Other dealers matching the prices to earn the business. If dealers that dont want your business, can you do business with them? With me NO NO.If my car runs fine with no issue, why do I need to shop for a new one. End up with Tesla Y instead
Had an issue with my trunk not staying open at an incline (unfortunately my driveway is on a hill), little did I know that Acura trunks are heavier than my previously owned Honda Civic before buying my TLX. I brought my car in to get it check out. Brock, Assistant Service Manager, assisted me and warned me that they can replace the springs but it may not stay open while on an incline due to the weight of the trunk. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Im not sure why the trunk has to be so heavy but this is a major major flaw on Acura, but then again I guess not many people have to park their car on a hill. While my problem wasnt fixed Im glad to have received great service at Oakland Acura from Brock and Tyler.

(Two weeks ago)I called and spoke to Tyler Issa to inquire about purchasing a car for the first time. I had a million questions and he patiently answered them..Hes really nice and friendly right off the bat!He and Ray worked with me and I was approved for a car.Let me first say this. They both did everything they could to find the perfect car for me working with my budget, and credit score. They really treated me like family. It was genuine and I WAS NOT pressured or felt like it was just a sale.They have offers for recent graduates as well (terms). I did the bulk of the purchase from home and only came in to sign documents outdoors and in a well-ventilated indoor/outdoor space. Came here for a brake service an my RDX. Made an appointment online, although the service options listed on the website are limited. I was 15 minutes late but they were quick to see me and get my car in for service. Jose was friendly and accommodating. He was able to get the services done in a timely manner. Services specials are significantly cheaper than other dealerships and their facility is top notch.They offer free Wi-Fi and complimentary snacks. Drive is a little further from San Ramon but well worth it for bigger services.
Gary Wong is probably the best service manager I interacted with. Hes incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. Hes a true asset to the dealer, and because of him, I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone. I am so glad to have found Gary. Top notch experience.
I had a really great experience here at Oakland Acura and I just wanted to say Scott Crowe was awesome!I emailed about a Preowned Dodge Durango so Scott called me to set up an appointment right away! He had the car clean and parked out front when I showed up! I was super excited and he made the car buying process really smooth and simple. They also made trading in my previous vehicle a breeze and I got a fair trade value which was exactly what it showed online. Its easy to get a service/maintenance appointment there, if I need a loaner car or a ride, its always available--if I tell them in advance. They will text you when the car is ready and I love that feature.

Everyone at Oakland Acura is exceptional! The service is excellent and always thoroughly explained prior to doing any work. The facility is gleaming and I choose spend time working there while I wait for my car. Gary is my technician, and hes smart, courteous, and offers authentic advice. The only drawback is that Acura doesnt have an EV scheduled anytime soon on the roadmap.

While hiking someone attempted to break into my car; thankfully they didnt take any belongings but jammed the lock entry into my car. I called and was able to get an appointment in right away :) Ray got me set up and let me know they could get the new piece in the next day. I dropped my car off 7am the next day and it was ready by 4pm. They even threw in a wash and vacuum :D Amazing customer service, quick and reliable! Thank you so much for your help here. (A note: I went in during COVID and everyone was wearing masks and distancing themselves which I appreciated, felt very safe)

Took my 2016 MDX for some service and roof paint recall. Staff was very helpful and courteous. They also provide me loaner car which was highly appreciable. Also when I went to pick up the car they saw that my battery on FOB is low. They immediately replace the battery without any charge and was out of door within 10 min. I highly recommend this facility for any kind of repairs on your Acura. Overall experience was very good and smooth.Will definitely use them for all the services and highly recommended. Keep it up your good work.

We came here to test drive a car. At the moment they are only showing cars by appointment but they were so accommodating and we showed up without an appointment and we were able to test drive a car. They are observing all of the Covid19 protocols and it was a good experience. The car itself was also a pleasure to drive. We were helped by Rodrigo and Ray. Both were very friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciate they were not pushy. Definitely recommend this dealership and both gentlemen.

Would not recommend if you value your time and money. Booked appointment in advance, they knew that I am coming from San Francisco and that I dont have car I need to use uber. When I arrived I found that there are other byers checking car and ready for test drive and most probably to buy car. And manager wasnt even aware of it until he went for keys. Other customers came from San Jose, so they probably also booked appointment.
As always the service was excellent. A warm welcome, clear precise communication, fast problem solving and the work was done efficiently and in the time frame expected.
Friendly and professional service.First time buying out a leased car, so it definitely was nerve-wrecking because both my husband and I were not familiar with the process. However, Ray and Tyler(maybe Taylor...sorry, I forgot!) made sure the process was stress-free and treated us like VIPs. We were able to get the refinance rate that we wanted along with a warranty option within our budget. Although it took 2+ hours (just like purchasing a new/used vehicle), Ray and T were very patient with us and answered all of our questions. We felt so bad making them run back and forth with the numbers, but they never showed any negative vibes and kept a smile.I have another vehicle leased and I am confident that when the lease is up, I wont go through a 3rd party. My business will be with Acura. Thank you again for a wonderful experience!

Great dealership. Buying my used Acura there was easy and fair. I also get my car serviced there, as theyre the only dealership Ive ever seen the has reasonable fees for that. All of the employees Ive met were friendly and professional. The new location isnt as convenient, but its beautiful and comfortable inside. Even though Ive moved to the city, Ill still cross the bridge to go here instead. Great job, guys!

Pretty disappointed I live in SoCal called 4 times to see availability on a vehicle they have online. Each time I called I selected to speak to someone about sales and it kept on ringing to the point it where it would take me back to the main menu. Sucks they have a nice car there I was ready to buy.
