Sean at G&C was awesome and made a great impression for the entire business. I stopped in without an appointment for a minor issue from a fender bender. Sean explained the process for a “proper repair” but also told me that he wouldn’t go to those lengths for his own vehicle. Instead he helped me with a quick buff on his own time and sent me on my way. What kind integrity! I’ll definitely come back here to work with honest businesspeople the next time I need body work.

I “had” a jacked-up bumper. Sean Schenk (sp) is knowledgeable and very friendly. He offered EXCELLENT customer service. I HIGHLY recommend this facility to all! They do not play with your time as other automotive shops tend to do (from MY experience). I will be returning for any future repairs. Sean made my day!!!!!

Ive used G&C Auto Body twice recently and they did an excellent job at fixing my car so quickly! They are very responsive, work fast, and are incredibly flexible. Lastly, their staff is very friendly and communicative. I would highly recommend this auto shop should anyone need any immediate car repairs in the Temescal area of Oakland.

Dont look at another auto shop, just go here, you will not be disappointed. I was visiting Oakland briefly while en route moving with all I owned in my car. I had my catalytic converter stolen off my car the day I was leaving Oakland while still needing to drive 6 hours and move in to my new place to start a new job the next day. I was horrified and so stressed but the staff at G & C were so accommodating, reassuring and beyond helpful. They helped with a rental, made me feel safe about all of my belongings in my car, even watched my dog while I picked up my rental. They worked so hard to make sure the parts for my car got to the shop in time for me to be able to get to my new job on time. Several of the workers stayed late to reassure their guarantee and to get me safely on my way. I feel SO grateful and supported during such a stressful situation. They kept me in the loop by giving me updates with the parts and how long the repair was taking with calls periodically. The team at this facility is top notch, Jeremy, Josh and Christian really made it all happen and the repair by the mechanic was excellent work. I never write reviews and they completely deserved my time because they helped me tremendously and I am so appreciative! I cannot stress enough the excellent customer service, empathy and wonderful quality repair work conducted. They made me feel like a priority and treated me with great respect and not just like another customer for $$. If you read all of this, just call them already and make your appointment, you will be completely satisfied like me. Hope this helps!

G & C is in my neighborhood, so I went to them for a quote to repair a broken door handle (very botched attempted theft). The price was fair, but more importantly, Christian was incredibly helpful. He was warm and friendly and made a lot of additional effort to try to locate a used part to keep my cost down. The door works smoothly, and I really appreciate the level of service offered here.

Replaced broken glass and rear bumper covered by insurance. Only company in my whole process that communicated up front exactly what to expect and delivered on everything they communicated. However, their cleaning of interior and exterior of the vehicle was above and beyond. Highly recommended body shop.

G&C made my car look brand new after I experienced an unfortunate side swipe. The door shell and rims look brand new just like I bought it from the dealership. The work was done in 3 days! Amazing! They even vacuumed and washed my car. They also picked up my rental and dropped off my car at my job. This place deserves 10 stars! Thanks G&C!

101 Autobody was the third body shop I checked in 1 hour. The manager is efficient, available and agreable. Their price are very interesting, no shuttle, the only inconvenience. Repairs done within 12 hours while others told me 5 days... Its worth the lack of shuttle. We finally found a place where to bring our car in case of need. Relieved!

Reason why Im going to give them two stars is because they were actually nice and polite, however they were actually thieves and I would not work with this body shop ever again. I literally watched them give my friend an estimate twice as high as the place that we went to before them, telling her she needed to do things that you did not need to do.

Guys don’t ever go here. They will even try to steal your underwear. The guy sitting at the counter is a total jerk. I slipped my card when I took it out from my wallet and he was screaming that I’m trying to attack him. What???? Give me a break. If I had a chance to rate them in negative rating I would gladly do so. City of Berkeley or Osklsnd should ban them for cheating the customers.

This shop is dangerous they left my exhaust pipe incorrectly connected twice the second time it fell off Sparks came off down the road and could have cost a forest fire and this is after I brought it back once from already falling off.
