I was a loyal Auto Glass Now Oakland customer having used them multiple times, but not anymore. I had my windshield replaced today. Not only did they destroy my white headliner with black fingerprints all over the inside of the vehicle, but they also broke the driver’s side wind deflector, which is causing a ridiculous amount of wind noise. It seems they thought they could get away without telling me they had broken it. What a terrible customer experience. Likely hundreds of dollars damage, more than the invoiced amount. This is a hugely disappointing experience.Update: I brought the vehicle in. The manager did not apologize for the shoddy work and offered to glue the pieces back together, which is a temporary fix at best. No accountability with this business! Stay away!

For a while my car was getting broken into once a month and Auto Glass Now has always taken care of me and my Audi! Even now with COVID making supplies limited, they searched for a window and made my car safe until it arrives. Customer service and quality on POINT!

This place is terrible! Don’t go here. I would give 0 stars if I could. I saw the good reviews and it was cheap so I chose to get my windshield replaced here, but when they replaced it the window they gave me cracked due to stress from installing. So I had to drive to their location for them to honor the warrantee which I was fine with but when they were installing the 2nd windshield they ripped out my dash cam wires!!!! And messed up my blue tooth microphone on my roof, close to the window. And the next day my plastic side pannal popped out exposing loose wires. I told them to watch out for it too. They manager, Mamood is very unprofessional. I asked for a refund due to the damage done to my car or some kind of compensation and he said they won’t do anything because they were after market installments.

I only had to replace a side window. They got the OEM part as I requested and quoted a very reasonable price. Were very communicative, setting accurate expectations on timing. Overall, very good experience.

I called in the morning and my windshield was replaced in a few hours at a better price than I could find any where else. They saved me at least $50. I will be suggesting Auto Glass Now in Oakland, CA, to friends, family, and in a professional capacity.

Would not recommend their prices aren’t even that much lower than OEM glass. Dropped my car off after getting a quote for $250, they don’t even call me I have to call to check in and turns out they need a different windshield that costs $600. It’s a 2019 VW with road sensors go figure. Again I have to call to see when the work is done, I pick up the car and the windshield looks horribly fitted, seals are popping out, I can see adhesive on the outside of car, there is glass all over my dashboard and car interior (my glass wasn’t even broken it just had a long crack). Headliner is popped out around windshield and there’s greasy smudges all over headliner and steering wheel. They clean it up after I ask and after driving it for 3 days there’s a noticeable whistle and air leak in the windshield and my lane keep sensor doesn’t work. I take it to them to fix twice and they keep saying they need the car all day and to bring it back later. Well turns out I don’t love driving here every day for them to tell me to bring it back the next day so I took it to the dealership and paid for a new install. It’s a 1 year old car to me and the work they did was unacceptable. Their guarantee on their work isn’t worth much if they cannot fulfill it. Save your money and go to a different glass installer.

They have always treated me very fair and professionally. Their estimates are accurate, the prices are competitive and their speed is amazing. Ive never had any problems with the windows they have installed.

Steve. Steve was extremely rude and unprofessional over the phone after I had already spoke to someone regarding my window being repaired due to vandalism. I really wanted to give this place a chance because it’s local and very easy to get to however, due to Steve and his Unprofessionalism I have decided to take my business elsewhere. When someone is experiencing an emergency or an inconvenient situation it is so important to make them feel comfortable and appreciated. Steve made me feel like he hated his job. I felt devalued, disrespected, and very belittled. I didn’t think he would handle my vehicle with care the way he spoke to me, hence the recent why I didn’t leave my baby(car) at that location.

Well I dont really like to make negative reviews, but I just cant stop thinking about my experience. First of all, I will mention I dont get the window of my car broken out that often, so I dont know the norms. I can only go by what I would do if I owned a place. I had my window broken and had a pair of driving gloves stolen by two individuals riding bicycles. I found this establishment via the internet. Once I arrived I was told that they would NOT vacuum my entire car, but only where the window was being replaced. I thought that was odd. But since it was very cold, and I became tired of driving around like that, I agreed. Even though there was glass EVERYWHERE, they only vacuumed the drivers floor. They did replace my window and the window does work just like the previous one. Lastly, there were no chairs to sit and they said if I was waiting I would have to sit outside. There are no chairs outside either. It was cold that day, so I decided to try to find a place to eat, I was hungry. This establishment is in the Industrial part of town in Oakland. NOT a very good neighborhood. I ended up walking a third of a mile to get something to eat. I only gave 3 stars because the window works great. Customer Service was very poor!!! I dont suggest EVER going here, unless you dont have any other options. My name is Elliott Johnson and I approve this message!!!

I requested mobile service. It was delayed a week because they said they received a bad windshield. They replaced my windshield via mobile, at my home. I now hear wind noise all of the time while driving.I called them and they had me bring my car in for inspection. I was there for approximately 2 hours. They tested the window for leaks...and then it sat there unattended. I was told they resealed the window, but they didn’t. I was there and could see my car. The wind noise is awful and clearly they have no intention of making it right. I was better off with the cracked windshield.

Auto Glass Now was amazing! They were able to squeeze us in at the end of the day to drop off the car. We got a call about 8:30 the next morning letting us know the car was good to go. They were friendly, helpful and professional. I would highly recommend them based on our experience.

Quick and effecient service at 1/4 the prices I was quoted from other shops. The back window of my Mercedes Benz you got smashed by a falling branch during the storm we had recently. I called the glass shop on upon recommendation from a friend and they told me that within an hour and a half if I could get the car there, they can do it the same day and the cost would be less than a quarter of what it was I was being quoted at two other shops. I could not have been happier

Friendly, cheap, and quick! When I called, not only did they already have my rear windshield in stock, they told me I could come right over. After just a couple hours, they had cleaned up all the broken glass, and replaced my rear windshield. They even tested the functionality with me (mine rolls down). I sent my buddy there a couple weeks later and he had a great experience as well.

Yesterday I paid for my window($172) for a Saturday appt. Danielle in the office was very polite & ordered the old Lexus back window. I got there & the window wasnt there yet. I waited over 2 plus hrs w my dogs in deep west Oakland. I called twice from across the street where I was told to park w busted window. I went inside and waited to ask a question. This office staff w side ponytail called me Abusive and told me to lower by voice and doing extra. I have never been so pissed. I had tears in my eyes from her bad funky mean face then I waited another 30 mins b4 my car was serviced. I will never set foot in this place. They will do business because in Oakland ur windows get busted. I am going to stick to Chinatown. I hardly write bad reviews but really? 9/1220 4 one prepaid window that wasnt there. One bad apple ruins a company. The other staff was very cool. If u got time to waste I dont by all means GO THERE😑

Ive came here 2 times to get my windows fixed that had got broken out and I was always able to get a window ordered and replaced in less than 24 hrs...and less than 1hr to fix.. They are always so friendly and comfortable they make you feel like your being taken care of and they do take care of you.. Great work! Called in a couple of months ago but was unable to keep my scheduled appt. cal Sunday and was quoted the same as before. Desk staff was really friendly as well as the other workers replacing my front windshield. Safe lite quoted me $500!! With auto glass now I paid more than 50% less. Because of the experience here, I am now a customer of auto glass guys, up the street, with better customer service, and cheaper. Called around for quotes. Auto GlassNow shop gave my partner one quote and I called again asking if they could do 2 cars for a deal. They said yes. When my partner arrived they, refused to honor the deal and tried to charge him the original amount they quoted him originally. They said they couldnt change the quote. They reduced the price some (so they couldChange the quote?) but it still wasnt the deal we agreed upon. I came to talk to them about it was met with an attitude. For ultimately not honoring a $10 difference, they bought themselves a loss of my business as well as a poor review. And because of where I work and often getting windows broken, I would been a regular customer!

I am absolutely shocked at how amazing my experience was. This company was an absolute blessing and the service I received was outstanding. Crystal and Latisha were very helpful and knowledgeable. They were very understanding of the misfortune my car was bestowed (very large crack onwindshield).I have never met a customer service team in the automotive industry that was very comforting and considerate of their customers.The technician/shop foreman that conducted the repair on my vehicle was Zane. He was an absolutely amazing craftsman. He was very competent and discussed with me the procedures and tools he would be utilizing on my vehicle. Zane treated my car with amazing care and he treated my car as if it belonged to him.

Unlike another place, that wasted my time they had the glass I needed at the price they quoted. The glass is not really half price. It was 20% less than any other local price so its ok. I wish the thief who broke in checked the doors first. They were not locked.

Woman on the phone made it sound like I had an appointment for the next morning, but turns out this place is first come first served. I found it a little annoying that I had worked my schedule around for the appointment only to find out their process was totally different.

Quick service same-day mobile will come to your house and job. the technicians are certified and quick. they have a high volume of cars coming in and out so expect to be there for a little bit of time but you could always drop off your car and come back for it later. Layla the manager of the store is polite and very professional and will take care of you with a good price that you just cant beat. It amazes me how they are able to have the glass for any particular car in the shop within minutes and in a vehicle within an hour once they get started on it.

Came in for a repair to the passenger rear window. I was waiting for 2 hours. When my 2013 Dodge Charger was finally ready, they told me that the battery was dead. The representative at the front desk tried to tell me my batter was defective saying it was too old. After telling them that the batter was still new they tried to blame the manufacturer. Im 100% percent sure they used the batter trying to test the windows without turning the car on, then left the power on.Edit: when finally recited the car representative confirm they left the lights on

Really quick repair a bit cheaper than other places in town. Helpful staff, totally on the ball. Vacuumed up the broken glass and everything. Will be back here again (its Oakland-- theyll see me every three months lol.)

Although the way time was a little long it was very well worth every minute spent there. The first time I went there was September of 2018 and they replaced the front windshield of the 2009 Mercedes R350 I use to own, the price they gave me was unbeatable they charged me less than $400 out the door whereas Safelite wanted over $900. And this past Saturday I had them replace the front windshield of my 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan and I paid less than $300! Id definitely recommend them and also use their services again.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I was there for 2 replacements and they decided (For me instead of consulting) to bend the window frame which now doesnt allow the glass to move up and down smoothly and they were full of excuses as to why it was necessary. My windshield installment was a bust. The guy dropped the glass and it cracked so the manager told me he would call within 2 days when they received a new windshield for me. No call 4 days later. I showed up on my own and was told he no longer worked there so they had no idea what was promised to me. After a huge discussion full of many redundant excuses and a 6 hour wait it was replaced. The new manager is very unprofessional! Unwilling to uphold company policy! 0 STARS!!

Awful service. Got a window replaced there twice and both times I needed to return for them to fix their work. You are better off going to a different company to get your windows replaced.

I woke up this morning to find that a tree had fallen on my car and crushed the windshield. These guys were incredibly professional, and got it replaced in a few hours, and a very reasonable price. Bonus - they also knew of a part store right around the corner, and directed there to buy a new side mirror, which they promptly installed (again, quickly and for a good price). Top notch service!

First time it rains in months and some wonderful person decides to break the windows to my car despite there being nothing to steal.Auto Glass Now got my car in and out on the same day -- a Saturday nonetheless. Everyone was super nice and helpful, and after calling around to get several quotes it turned out to be the best deal in town, to boot.I certainly hope that no one else decides to bust up my ride, but if they do I know where Im going: Auto Glass Now.

My car was broken into and I needed to replace my window. I went to Auto Glass Now at 10:30am and was told my car would take an hour and a half.. my car wasn’t ready until 4:30pm. I rolled down my window to make sure it was installed properly and it was squeaking like there was glass still in it. I went back and the manager was apprehensive towards me then proceeded to tell me that there was glass in my rotator.. after I paid. I complained then he started yelling and screaming at me saying that it’s not their job to replace the rotator but to install the glass. I told him I understand that but I would have liked to been informed about that issue before the glass was installed and I paid. He continued to yell at me and refuse my feedback or to compensate me.. I will not be returning there ever again. Terrible service and lack of communication! Oh not to mention they replaced my window with one that wasn’t the same model as my car.

I had a poor experience with auto glass. For starters I call to see if they had the window I needed and went to the location as well. Once I got there they had the window but it was cracked. I was quoted a price and auto glass stated they would honor the quote once they got the window. However once they found the window 3 days later they increased the price by 100$. Completely unacceptable to lie and say they are going honor there quote and not but increase the price. Secondly leann the district manger was very rude and disrespectful. Making comments such as we can increase our prices whenever we want and who cares if we said we would honor original quoted price. False advertisement of free mobile service as well. I was told a price out the door and requested the free mobile service and was given a different price and there response was we have additional fee for service. Even though its heavily advertised as free. People of Oakland we have to demand better customer service and quality work from these companies in our community.

Heard about this place from a friend. Walked in as was taken care of instantly. No wait, no appointment. I think I got lucky, because its not like it was a slow day, but it would have been worth the wait, regardless...Leanne took care of me. She was terrific! Took about 5 minutes for her to get me all set up and have my car brought into the garage. I waited about 40 minutes. Then, after about $150 bucks, which was $100 less than the place recommended by my insurance, I was on my way.They cleaned the broken glass and everything. Thank you so much, Auto Glass Now!! They got me in immediately and had my window fixed same day. The staff are friendly and the prices are on point. The waiting room isnt the prettiest but its there if needed. I hopefully wont have to be back but will definitely recommend them to others for their auto glass needs.

Other glass places recommended by my insurance were going to take up to a week to replace my window so I decided to get it replaced on my own locally in Oakland. I called Auto Glass Now first and they were able to replace the window within two hours. There were no hidden costs or any surprises - the price was as promised. They even carefully vacuumed and cleaned as much glass as they could from the interior of my car. When the inevitable break-in happens, these guys have got your back and are able to make a terrible situation that much better. I highly recommend them.

Jose was most courteous. He called ahead of time which was good. The shattered glass was all cleaned up. Work done whith Life Time warranty in forty five minutes. After the disappointment of finding my rear passenger side window busted the night before for no good reason, they didnt even take anything.It was a great relief to have a fast and professional repair. The people are courteous and knowledgeable about their work and kept me informed me throughout the whole process.The cost was even better. No more safe-light repairs for me.

After getting my car broken into my insurance recommended one business that told me the earliest they could get me in to fix my broken door window was in 5 days. Based on the reviews here I decided to call Auto Glass Now and they managed to get me into their shop that same day. Their service was great, they managed to get the parts fairly quickly, the gave me a price what was WAY less than what this other company had quoted me, and they even took the time to do a thorough clean up of all the broken glass.

Beware of bait and switch unless you only want the cheapest option they offer. I was given a quote of $240 for a windshield including a new gasket with chrome. Since there was only a small price difference between with chrome or without, I figured the chrome was fake or thin, just like in many moldings available in auto parts stores, but that aspect did not bother me. I was interested in maintaining the appearance. They came out during the agreed time interval. The installer had the incorrect part. Upon calling their office, I learned that he had gotten the wrong part - no chrome. They came back again the next day. Again the wrong part - still no chrome but just a place to insert my old chrome - and they would not guarantee success at reusing the old weathered chrome. They had assured me it would be the correct part the second time. Upon calling the office again, the manager assured me it would be done correctly tomorrow one way or another and he would contact me around 8:00 - 8:30 am. I finally got a call at lunch time, but only brief music was left as a message. If I did not have caller ID, I would not have known he had called. When I called back I was informed that they would not honor the quote and it would cost approximately a couple hundred dollars more and they claimed it was only available through the vehicle dealer, but they would be happy to order it for me AT MY EXPENSE. It took 3 days and approximately an hour more of my time before they told me this.

This is my second visit this year for window replacement, same vandalism story different side..... With that said, the staff at Auto glass now is always courteous, efficient and the price is right. I would use them again in a heartbeat, hopefully I wont have another broken window anytime soon though!
