This store seems to be closed permanently. Not sure if it will ever open again. There was a fire at this location in July 2020, no further information. Its kind of sad that NO ONE has any information on whether or not this place is closed forever, or it it will open again. Seems like someone would be willing to at least give their customer base some sort of courtesy information. The owner being tight lipped is really a huge turn-off and it shows a lack of common courtesy. At the very least, it would be a simple task to put a note in the window letting people know what to expect. BUT.... nothing. Boo to PHU QUY BAIT.

Parked right in front. Owner spent lots of time advising me on rigging options. Prices were reasonable. I left feeling confident about my chances to catch something.

Needed live bait early in the morning before a trip. Picked up some worms and some other tackle for cheap, great no-frills service. Was worried about the hours based on past reviews, but was assured the opening times online are accurate (only closed Tuesdays)

Love the place. Just went there, asked a couple of questions and answered without any hesitations. Very friendly owner. Bought myself some pile worm and weights at a good price. I recommend people to come here to get your live bait!

Been here twice, the store wasnt open even tho the hours said they were open. No one answers the phone either and the voicemail is always full.Heard from a few people that when he is open, the bait selection is good. Everyone Ive talked to tho says the guy is flaky as far as being reliably open.

This place appears to be closed and abandoned.Just there today at 5PM (October 1, 2020). Google showed it was open.

This is a seriously great place if you want live bait. I use bloodworms a lot and theyre always in stock and in great shape. I checked out the water system Victor uses for the mud shrimp, etc. Real clean.Ever been to the place in San Jose(no names)? Sold me dead bloodworms and their ghost and mud shrimp are sketchy. Buyer beware there.
