I only ever print photos here. Their online ordering is easy and their quality is always super high. I also needed international passport photos- the sales rep knew the specs by heart, which was really impressive to me. And most amazing of all, they’ve helped me recover and digitize some old family home videos, which were playing nothing but static for me. I highly recommend this shop.

I went there to take passport size photo. I ran into couple of issues1. I ordered digit photo, I was told photo will be emailed to me immediately but I had to call them next day to remind them to send photo.2. Photo is tilted which could have been solve while cropping. Also no basic editing has been done.3. I asked them to send me original photo so that I can crop myself, but no response from them.

Came in to get a disposable developed, they said it would be an hour and a half and came back at the time they said and they still hadn’t developed or printed them. I waited in my car for an hour and a half waiting and then they told me I had to come back tomorrow. Don’t advertise one hour photos if you can’t actually do it

I had a great experience using their 35mm slide printing service. Extremely fast and high quality prints! They also had great customer service when I had a problem with shipping and even reprinted my order at no extra cost! I will definitely be going back for my future printing needs.

I got a disposable camera developed here and was impressed it was developed and ready in less than two hours. My typical photo shop at my home takes a few days. However, it was close to 20 dollars just for digitals. Ive been using the same disposable camera for years and am aware of how film turns out but they added their own filter to many of my pictures. I typically use a kodak for the cool tone blue feel but all the photos I got from them have a faded warm tone and look extremely edited. It was nice to develop them quickly after a vacation but for the price and strange editing I wouldnt do it again.

They do way more than photos. If you want something printed or copied or laminated, they are happy to help. Their service is friendly and professional. In addition, they stock hard-to-find items like affordable picture frames. Highly recommended.

All good, but I ordered 9 pic, in 2 hours I took just 3. In 30 min they gave me 6, fortunately I counted it and they gave me all 9. it was so long and complicated.Everybody nice.

This place is fantastic. I needed passport pictures for a Canadian Passport. They did them, as well as many other countries. Each country has their own standards for size, ratios, lighting, facial expression and so on. Montclair was attentive, fast and courteous. I was in and out with my pictures in 20 minutes. They are the real deal when it comes to customer service.

I went to print some photos from my phone that I ordered online, they came out great and I was very happy with them and we’ll priced for the sizes I got I’m definitely going to buy from them again!

Theyre just rude. Went in to get 3 rolls developed and scanned and they quoted me more than what the place I usually go to charges. I mentioned the disparity and the gentleman behind the counter said, Go have them do it, then.As I was packing up I replied, Not a very nice way to run a business and the guy started yelling at me, claiming I gave him attitude. Splendid customer service.Best part? Saw him 10mins later at the grocery store and he was embarrassed as hell. Not the same when you encounter people out in the real world where you cant hide behind the counter, is it?Really want to support local business, but not when they treat customers this way. What a shame, especially for a dying industry like film photography.

Quick service good photos

The one star is because the part-time weekend person got my poster size incorrect. I immediately brought it to their attention before taking the items and received a call from the owner insisting his weekend employee is right and I am the one that is wrong. I have never been treated with such rudeness in my 20 years of coming to Montclair 1-hour photo but as of today I will take my business somewhere else

This store has had the worst of luck with broken down equipment. Dont go often, yet, on the last two visits a year apart clerks give sad story about service delays.Maybe, great place for merchandising photo albums and various related items; specialty processed photos. But, for a one hour developer go somewhere else.

They do international passport photos quickly and have all of the specifications for many countries.

They had what I needed, but are pricy. $15 for a roll of Portra 400 speed film is almost twice what I pay at the camera store I use in Denver, and when I asked for Portra film the woman behind the counter didnt know what I was talking about. I had negatives scanned here as well, and the resolution and quality was low, so Ill probably get them re-scanned elsewhere. I hate giving poor reviews, but I was lured in by this places 5 stars, which isnt the experience I had. Not bad, but not great either.

Deserves the ratings it has. I came in, got the photo taken, came back in 15 min., as advertised and they were done. There was a lot of construction nearby, but the Safeway parking lot served.

1 hour photo, still exists!! A bit pricey but where else can you get this service?
