Just had apple pancakes and were some of the best pancakes I have had …ever. Very light and delicious. We had a party of 9 and everyone loved their meal. Service and food were great. Definitely a must try if you not been there.

Hands down one of the best places to eat in northern jersey….it’s more than a diner it’s the friendliest most welcoming place you can go with family, friends or just yourself. Every single meal I’ve had here has been great! If you’re looking for a great menu, and AMAZING BREAKFAST/LUNCH spot and you’re in the area you def owe it to yourself to go!!! Thoroughly fantastic! We had them make hot brunch foods and bagel trays for my daughters baby shower. Everything was affordable and prepared so beautifully! Mike did everything to help us plan by making suggestions. He followed through on all our expectations--no even better than expected! We will definitely use them again for catered foods. Highly recommended!

We enjoy dining here whenever we return to Oakland. Fruit & nut salad with grilled chicken & Turkey club are my favorite go-to’s; Cheeseburgers are generous and we really like the Shrimp salad wrap. Staff are always pleasant and friendly. Did a lot of pandemic take-out and was always pleased that our orders were accurate and fresh when we got home. Relaxing & enjoyable dining experience!!

Hands down the best diner in the surrounding areas! You can tell their food is so fresh and way more then just diner quality meals. The food is really good...its our families go to when ordering out. They are SOOO nice and accommodating.

I ordered a Pancake Sandwich with Bacon. Something odd so I figured to try it. It wasnt served warm to hot but served cold to warm for brunch. It was not overly impressive but it will certainly fill you up. The service itself for coffee refill and the waitresses checking in was excellent. A solid four of five stars.

This diner gets a Wow! From me, which is rate in a state with so many diners. Now under new ownership, the food is superb, as is the service, and there are so many thing I want to go back, to try. Its well worth a visit!So nice, to meet John Lignos and to see someone with such passion, for what he does! Im looking forward to more great meals at Lenape!

I had one of the most delicious omelets Ive had in a long time. Service was great and the coffee cup was always topped off!!

Very nice place. I had a Greek burger and it was perfect. Even chicken soup was real tasty. Both chicken kabob and Greek salad were great. The place is clean and the servers were very polite. Will definitely come back.

Stumbled on this fine gem by accident. Dont miss this one, just a short distance off Route 287 we were really pleased with food, waite staff and the cleanliness of restaurant. We were enroute from Connecticut to Pennsylvania and this stop was roughly the 1/2 way point and are we glad we found this place!!!

Lenape Valley Diner — one of the best diners in New Jersey. Not only is the food out of this world, but so is the atmosphere. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by the owner, John, who makes the experience that much better. He constantly checks on you to make sure everything is okay and will take care of anything you want. I’ve recently ordered the fish tacos and they were one of the best I’ve ever had — I am looking forward to coming back to get them again. Oh and to add — our waiter, Sam was SO beyond friendly. I 10/10 would recommend this diner. Thank you, John, for opening such a clean and delicious diner.

I was having the worst day. I quit my job, my car broke down, it was a terrible thunderstorm with wind and trees flying around. The manager and my server were so kind to me! I felt so at home. It REALLY cheered me up after a rough day. Food was great and the Ferraro chocolate dessert thing was Soooo good!!! Will def be stopping by again when my car is fixed!!

The staff is so friendly here, very attentive and make you feel welcome immediately. We walked in and the hostess greeted us like family, sat us immediately, and our waiter was over within seconds. The food is really good, too! Tons of menu options, and they have some unique dishes. Not just a typical Jersey diner. There are also plenty of vegetarian options!

My husband & I highly recommend Dining here! The food is delicious and we haven’t ordered anything we didn’t like! Our favorites include the omelets, French toast, burgers, wraps, and chicken francaise. The atmosphere is friendly and very clean. The people are amazing and attentive. I was in Oakland yesterday and found this nice Diner and had lunch. I got a BLT wrap which tasted awesome. I always like to stop at diners because they seem to have the best breakfast and alot of time the best food. The locals seem to know where all the good food is and you usually can fine them at little town diners . Stop in you wont regret it .

Super yummy food and great service. I have been here multiple times and the food is always so good, especially their smoothies. Our servers name was Sam and he was so nice and funny. Overall a great time 11/10 would recommend :)

What a great find near home! The menu is varied and includes healthy options, which my husband loves. We’ve been back several times and everything I’ve tried has been delicious whether it’s chicken, pasta or a hearty salad. It’s clean, comfortable and the people are friendly and welcoming. It’s our new go-to for dinner.

Stopped in here for breakfast after an appointment I had in the area. The place is clean and cozy. Great atmosphere.The staff was friendly and the service was fast.My food was great. The coffee was even good and Im usually not into diner coffee.I really hope to get to stop in here again.Highly recommend.

My boyfriend and I eat here every Wednesday night after our sunset hikes. We absolutely love their staff and the food is incredible! Love the banana almond pancakes and my bf loves the fried chicken over the waffles. We will continue to eat here and hope you will try it as well.

Had a very nice Greek salad w Dolmades.brought enough home for lunch tomorrow. My friend had a French toast special with fresh strawberries and I think blueberries. It was huge! She too left with a doggie bag. Our waitress was a ver personable and efficient. Prices very fair. Dining outside under tent was comfortable on this hot day day. Will definitely be coming backback.

Great environment and friendly staff. My family and I have eaten there many times and we have never been disappointed. The food is amazing! My personal favorite is Crab Cakes Benedict (always fresh and not imitation crab meat). Great Place To Eat!

Amazing food, exceptionally good service and just a really well run restaurant. The place was super clean (they were continuously cleaning as I was there earlier) and the social distancing measures are in place in an effective manner. I can’t recommend their Gyros and Ruebens enough - grateful they are open again!

I am on a special diet anf I was nervous they wouldnt have something I could eat besides a salad no dressing OMG!! was I wrong. They had a entire special menu in addition to their menu of healthy choices I ordered the grilled portobello (they were fresh and grilled a bonus) with sauted spinish mixed with fresh tomatoes and grilled salmon.. OH !! AND THE PICKLES ! BEST I EVER HAD. Glad I stopped here really nice staff they work together and nice ambiance I highly reccomend The Lenape Diner. Thank you for the experience :)

The Lenape diner is the best one in Wayne. The service is amazing and there are so many options of food to eat. The food is very delicious and whenever my family and I come, the people are so kind. The new owner has done such a fantastic job with the diner and everything is outstanding. I recommend this place!!!!

John who’s the new owner goes above and beyond to make sure that you are happy and have a great meal and a good dining experience. We started coming here once or twice a week and love the delicious breakfast and the specialities that they have. Save room for desserts because they are delicious!Highly rated!

This is the best diner by far in this area. It feels like a restaurant and the food is wonderful. They offer an early bird dinner and the prices are very reasonable. The salmon fillet is our favorite. They have a great selection for breakfast also. We love it.

Usually work every Sunday if I had the day off decided to go to Lenape Valley Grill which everybody’s talking about since the new owner came ordered crabcakes Benedict with unbelievable hollandaise sauce highly recommend it was so good
