Great Store! Owner is VERY helpful. He knows luggage and offers competitive prices. This is my go to store for anything travel related.

There were some good buys at this luggage store when we visited. Daisy and Samsonite brands were 50% off. Cheaper than same items found online. There were also a lot of travel amenities available. Almost everything you need for packing and travel. Reason for the 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 is that the store claims to match online prices. However, when we showed a lower price online for packing envelopes of the exact same brand, they only offered a discount price that did not match online price. Would still go here again, but walk away on items in which they wont match online price. On principle, I expect stores to do what they claim to do.

I shop at Rockridge Luggage often. Its one of the few place where you can purchase items that are really useful for travel. Theres also a wide range of Baggallini and other purses, so I shop there even when Im not planning a trip. Support local merchants and keep this wonderful store and its lovely owner in business! And a side benefit for those with a sweet tooth: theres an organic ice cream (Straus) store a few doors away, also owned by a local Oakland merchant. :-)

Love the variety of luggage, handbags and backpacks. Easy parking behind business. Supporting independent business like this one, means we keep our money in Oakland.

A hidden gem in the Dimond district. Wonderful selection of luggage as well as many travel items at reasonable prices. The owners provide a good deal of attention and information. And they have a generous return policy.
