Great local convenience store, almost NYC bodega quality (without the deli/coffee). Owners are super nice. Decent selection of the sorts of things you dont want to have to get in the car to you get.

This place is nice and have good verity of drink to buy. But depending on how at the cash register they overcharge for soda and beer. $5 for one 20oz is too much money. But if the owner is at the cash register then its $2.25 which is the right price for soda.

UNSAFE PLACE!!! I love this place, but they never update their hours. They SAY they are open until 2 am on Saturday but tell me why they turn off their lights around 11:30 or possibly earlier, in my past experience...So today, here I come over here, out in the middle of the dark in Oakland, and they are with no surprise...CLOSED. I feel unsafe coming to this place and its no wonder why I dont come over anymore...update your hours!!!

Id been going to Blue and Gold since I was 16 yrs old back in 1996.. even though the business is own by new owner.. everything in the store is very Pricey. Some of the drinks wasnt charged by the price that was label on the bottles or cans. I feel like they over charging on every items.

Young guy working the didn’t say hi, thank you. I didn’t even know if the transaction was complete. Basic customer service skills are essential. Please have a little pride in what you do, and respect for your customers.

DOES NOT ENFORCE MASK REQUIREMENTS. Constantly has customers in and out without masks, staff often do not wear masks, I would only walk inside here if you are comfortable getting covid.

Great service and wide variety of common groceries. Staff is always friendly.

This place is very close to my house so I decided to stop by and pick up some refreshments for the family. They have a parking spot right in front of the store. Nice cashier.
