Started going there a couple years ago. Luke was the first guy who did oil change went great. Then came along Nolan and everything from damaging my driver side power seat, Trashing my lugs, grease on my leather seats, door handles and dash to adding NO oil in my vehicle with an oil change.I have tried and tried to get Dave the District manager to make things right and he’s never willing to make a convenient time for me the customer. Now when Nolan is gone and Joe the newest store manager quoted me tires prices the day I ordered them. I get there and was charge $30 per tire more without even mentioning it. Never do the turn the maintenance light off, top off fluids esp simple windshield fluid when it’s clearly stated!Now they want my business for an $800 repair! Haha never would I recommend this place.

Was told I needed new brake pads and rotors on front and back - $800 for everything. Took it elsewhere and was told my front pads still had at least 15-20k miles on them and the rotors were fine. Just had to get rear pads and rotors and paid WAY less than half that price elsewhere for them! Wont be back!

Had all four brakes replaced and oil changed. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and didn’t try to sell me on anything that wasn’t urgent, but also shared their thoughts and recommendations on maintenance and possible repairs to be completed in the future. Service was completed on time and I was kept up to speed with the progress. Couldn’t be happier!

Lisa was excellent! She was professional on the phone and treated me like a person when I checked in to have just my oil changed like I asked for, it’s the small personable details and communication that truly made the experience better, rather than just another service or money maker like other places! The guy (sorry didn’t catch his name) who changed my oil was great too!

I recently had my vehicle inspected at Meineke#1652 on Telegraph rd. The inspector found several issues wrong with my vehicle. I had my mechanic look at the list of repairs that the inspector failed me for. He agreed with the fail list, except for the most expensive repair ($687) replacing my rack and pinion. I had all the repairs made, except for the rack and pinion that my mechanic said was not a fail. On 6/16/21 I took my vehicle back for re-inspection. The same inspector refused to re-inspect my vehicle since I did not fix my vehicles rack and pinion that he said was bad. After a heated exchange he agreed to re-inspect my vehicle. He failed it again, so I immediately went to the Highway Patrol station off off Koch Rd. and informed them of my situation. The MSHP inspector inspected my vehicle and determined that my rack and pinion was not a fail! Had I not known any better I would have been ripped off! $687 down the drain! Not even a apology once I returned back to Meineke from the inspector!

I had a full exhaust system installed on my silverado. They had different options for me. It looks and sounds great.

I needed an emissions and they took me promptly at my appt time and completed it quickly.

We typically use our local Telegraph Meineke shop for our car maintenance because they generally deliver qualify customer service, but we won’t be using them during the remaining months of the pandemic. Neither of the representatives working the desk wore masks and they clearly didn’t require any of the customers to wear them either. The shop employee who delivered me the car keys also was not wearing a mask. The desk area and waiting area are in close quarters. Our car maintenance loyalty is not worth our health.

I needed new brakes after a 6 hour trip from Indiana and I needed them fast. The front desk was very professional and courteous when making the appointment up to the time that I picked my car up. I was aware of a 10% discount coupon that I had not mentioned at the beginning. They not only applied the 10% coupon to my final bill but also included a free oil change that was a part of the services I required at the time. In addition they found my tire rods were very bad of which they replaced along with alignment. I can assuredly tell that they were honest about those as I feel a lot tighter steering and assuredly feel the better alignment. I didnt notice how bad it actually was until they fixed it and I didnt even go in for that. Great service all around.

I went in because I had a vibration in my steering wheel in about six months back they have replaced all my rotors and brake pads. Upon taking and then they took it back into their garage and looked at it and said that my two rear rotors were bad and they need to be replaced, so they replace them I still had the vibration at high speeds so they put on the 2 front rotors and now the vibration is gone and they replaced all four rotors for no cost to me because it was under warranty so the problem was fixed at no cost to me so I recommend them because they seem fair and they took care of my problem and eased my mind of any further expenses

Im a repeat customer at this store and they always treat me so well. I had to get new tires on my last trip, which I knew was going to happen, but they were very helpful in explaining which tires are best and saving me money. They really do have their customers best interest in mind.

My husband and I both use this Meineke abs they are friendly and reliable. This time I dropped off my car for an oil change abs emission inspection and they were done within 2 hours. We will definitely use them again!

Beware - no staff members here wear masks. Went in for a state inspection, no problem there. However, no one was wearing a mask. Neither the lady at the desk, nor the technician who pulled my car around had a mask.

I originally went in for inspection. Was told my catalytic converter was leaking. So naturally I failed the emissions inspection. They explained it would roughly cost 1300.00 to fix. I could not afford to have repairs done. Well I left my truck there for 2 weeks due to being sick. I finally pick up my truck to find out my catalytic converter is missing. Now my truck sounds like a Dragster. Management claims someone stole my converter while my truck sat on THEIR LOT. I was told it was my fault since I left my truck there to long. Conveniently there are no cameras facing the area where all vehicles are parked. Still waiting to hear from the owner. I’ve had nothing but bad experiences with this business from brake not working on 2008 dodge van to wheels falling off company work truck. They had to replace entire rear end on that. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE THERE!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! THEY POURED DOG FOOD on my engine then put the engine cover back on! I had an inspection done on 3/30 which my car failed for a tint strip on the windshield. I was a little frustrated that they failed it but I never thought theyd do something like this to someones car. If I wouldnt have noticed it couldve ruined my engine. Taking my car here for a 30$ inspection almost costed me a 10,000$ car. Take your money somewhere else. 0 STARS

First time at this place. I had a check engine light problem. I called up and Dave answered and knew what it was. Told me to come in right away if I wanted. Fixed in less than 2 hours. Excellent customer service from Dave and staff! Now lets look at whats important! I was an aircraft mechanic for years, so I have knowledge of mechanics. Cars and planes are 2 completely different animals. However, I did do research on my vehicle and its issues and codes I got. After Dave did the diagnostics and explained the problem, I was able to marry my research to his explanation. For once I wasnt being robbed.My 5 stars for customer service arent just for me, but the 2 other customers that came in and me eavesdropping. They could have charged an old man for a nail in a tire..they didnt. They could have serviced a guys car..but he had just bought it used and they said...take it back.I am cautious where I go. I went to Debby down the street. If you live in Oakville you know. Needed repair quote once and they said 1700.00. When I started to walk they said..how about 1300. Never in my life have I haggled car repair.When I see negative reviews, they are hard to understand. I have dealt with many customers that demand but cant comprehend. I have had the know it all that cant do what I do, but sure can tell me how to do it. There are mistakes too. I believe if you have a doubt, than get a second opinion. I can tell you doctors are no better. My friends sister was going in for heart surgery at a great hospital, keep it nameless. Before the surgery my friend asked had anyone check her gallbladder...it was her gallbladder!To sum it up..I had a great experience and they earned my trust.

I had a great experience with this Meineke location. I mentioned in passing that I was annoyed about my wiper fluid no longer working, but I was there for an alignment. After the alignment, they went out of their way to poke around my wiper fluid motor at no extra charge and let me know that it is an easy fix. They explained everything in a patient, digestible way that wasn’t intimidating to the average person. I’ll definitely be going back despite this location being 30 minutes away from where I live!

Im sure that most employees here are fantastic and exceptional. However the person at the front desk on 3/18/2020 was NOT. He was extremely rude and condescending. When I called back he told me to bring the car back before he would talk to me. I attempted to ask a question and he hung up. I think that the reviews are great for this location and that is why I tried to go there. However this person completely did me in and I will never use this location for service. It is really rough to go into a place looking for a help and to get treated like a burden...

Front desk clerk was very kind and professional. My interior of my car though was left with a black greasy shoe print and my steering wheel was soiled with black grime as well. With Covid19 going on, youd think they would have put at least a paper floor mat down on my floor board and sanitized and wiped my steering wheel. But my oil change and service overall went well. Got my in and out pretty fast which I appreciate!

Went to get an estimate months prior to todays visit and Dave the manager instantly remembered me. He was very informative and service was quick. I would highly recommend someone to visit and get service done at this location.Went back to this location AGAIN to have my safety test done. Dave the manager was nice enough to fit me in. Coincidentally, the same guy (Luke I believe) who did my safety test also did my muffler a few weeks back. The crew was very courteous but I was once again impressed by Dave the manager. Great customer service. I will definitely be back if I need more work done.

They were supposed to have changed an engine in my vehicle said that they would have it finished in 4 days. They had my van for over two weeks and my van still did the same thing that it was doing before they had it. So then they were telling me that it was probably the transmission. If that were the case why didnt they change that instead of the engine. Which they only changed the back half of that and didnt put gaskets on it where they belonged and still charged me over $4000

Per my norm, I waited til the last minute for safety and emissions. Called ahead and they said if I came in at 7:30 they’d have me in and out by 8 on the the last Friday of the month. Not only did they keep their promise but got me in 10 minutes before they officially opened. Explained the repairs I required thoroughly but didn’t push me to have them done at their shop. Extremely clean waiting room with a phone charging station and good coffee. The whole process was fast and easy and after shopping around they were the least expensive for what I needed to have done. My new go-to!!

I cant speak for other locations, but would not recommend this location. I paid a lot of money and my lights came back on as soon as I left. I went back a second time, my vehicle was towed there, and the manager must of thought he could take advantage of that and tried to make me sign stuff because I said I would pick it up. Dave is absolutely the best, he is honest and will thoughroughly explain everything. His team is always welcoming and polite. The two times I have been here I have been very satisfied with the services they have provided. The first was to replace the window motor and the 2nd was for replacing the air compressor for the A/C. They do not pressure you into getting services done and are very understanding if you return at a later date, meanwhile they keep record of the services you needed and have had done. The facility is clean, free coffee, and satellite TV while you wait. There are also restaurants around the area to walk to while you wait on your vehicle or sometimes they give complimentary rides to your home. I strongly suggest, you come to this auto shop if you ever need repairs.

The staff there was friendly and professional. I used valvoline before but now giving Mieneke a chance. Brought two vehicles there and both times was a good experience. Saying that though, the on line appointment has a lot to be desired. This part of my experience wasnt good. Plain and simple, it doesn’t work.

Untrustworthy deceptive mechanic. I brought my car in for a Missouri mandated safety and emissions test to get my plates renewed. Just as I expected my car passed both without issue. The first sign of deception came when I was quoted for a new battery. Let me tell you something, there was no reason for my battery to be tested. The car cranks, starts, and idles with no issue. I cleaned the terminals and load tested the battery two months prior with no indication of a failing battery. After my appointment I tested the battery myself with my OBD2 scanner and again at AutoZone. Both independent tests showed no need to replace the battery. The other shady thing was being quoted on having my head gasget removed and replaced. Inspecting a head gasket isnt part of the inspection. There was no reason for me to believe that the gasket was an issue before having my car inspected. I can say this because my car doesnt leave oil spots after being parked, the oil level remains fairly constant between oil changes with less than half a quart being lost between changes, and there has never been smoke coming from under the hood. The mechanic told me my engine was spewing oil and liable to catch fire. Both those statements are false for my car. I took my car to an independent mechanic to confirm my concerns. It was verified that my head gasket did not need to be replaced. There were two areas on the engine with oil residue on them but that can be expected for a car with nearly 200k miles on it. One of the spots was located on the back side of the engine where the mechanic had no business being for the Missouri inspections. I was in and out of there in a reasonable amount of time though.

I normally do all the work on my car myself, but whenever something requires time or tools I dont have, Ive always brought it here, simply due to the reputation of the manager, Dave, especially whenever it comes to performance cars. Luke has always been great to talk to and work with, too. However, I guess some just dont hold the same standards.I sourced all the parts for a front brake pad/rotor change for them to do since I didnt have some of the tools needed to get the rotors off, and dropped it off at about 1:30pm on a day when Dave wasnt there. It took probably 2.5 hours, and the mechanic handed back the keys. He noted a small noise that he couldnt figure out, but said itd be fine. It didnt take too long for me to realize the brake pads werent all the way seated in the caliper, ultimately caused by one caliper guide pin falling out, and the other backing halfway out. After further inspection, it was because I noticed the clip that held the guiding pins in was put in improperly. Im glad I know what it is that Im looking at, otherwise this couldve caused some VERY expensive damage.So I end up leaving my car in overnight, and Im told Ill get a call in the morning about when they can get new pins to replace the ones that were lost. Of course I never get a call, so I call myself. they tell me they looked everywhere and cant get them for yet another day. I did some calling around and it took me about 15 minutes to find a place that had them in stock to get (somewhere they claimed to have asked). About 4 hours later I call and they say theyre done. In summary, my car was in their bay for 25 hours for a brake job that shouldve taken two.If you dont feel comfortable working on performance cars, thats fine, but PLEASE do not risk: 1) my safety and 2) serious vehicle damage because you think you can figure it out on your own.So if youre into having to show mechanics a serious issue that they dont see or think will cause a problem, and like having to do all the work for getting everything together, maybe this is your spot, but for me, its time to find somewhere else.

I had taken my Mustang here because it was leaking antifreeze. They informed me that it had a blown head gasket, and it would cost $2700 to fix. I got a second opinion at Economy Car Car. It was NOT a blown head gasket, and it only cost $512 to fix. I wont be returning to this place.

I was having trouble with my heat and took it here. They looked at it, said I needed a new heater core and thermostat, told me how much it would cost to fix (around $200), I gave the okay and they fixed it the next day. I thought that that would have been the end of it but upon picking it up I still didnt have heat. I had someone take my car back up and they said the thermostat wasnt put on correctly and was leaking coolant. They screwed it back on the right way, I picked it up again. Later on in the day I turned on the heat and still nothing. I called them back up on a Thursday and she said she couldnt fit me in until Monday. I brought it back in on Monday at 1 and picked it up around closing time.They said that the heater core was rusted out and that clogged up the tubes. I said that when they called me the mechanic told me that he was replacing the heater core, but they denied that they did and the receipt doesnt show that they replaced it. Whatever, human error, he probably misspoke. I let it go. They cleaned it out for me and said it was blowing at 130 F degrees. Finally I had heat! But the next day I was driving around, turned on the heat, and a horrible burning smell was coming out of the vent. I turned off the heat and just prayed that maybe it was some of whatever they used to clean out the tubes being burned off. Two days later and I still have that smell in my car. I now have to take it to a different mechanic because it wont turn on. Ive always heard good things about this place but my experience here as made me feel like I was cheated. I will never trust them with my car again. Im only giving them two stars because they did have excellent customer service and were very polite throughout the entire process. I just wish that they did it competently.Edit: One year later and I no longer have heat in my car. I hadn’t really noticed since it has been such a mild winter. Well that has changed; since early January we have experienced record low colds (and now a Polar Vortex)! I am once again reminded of the poor job Meineke has done to my car.

This was the worst experience I ever had at Meineke. When I first got there the person who checked me in was very nice I wasnt able to catch his name. I told him that I had a T-Mobile free oil change coupon he told me to wait for the manager. So when a manager gets there its time for me to check out I asked him about the coupon and he said my store doesnt participate in that which was okay with me my oil change was only $23. I asked them why was the synthetic oil so cheap and he said we only do basic oil change here. I asked him will it hurt my car if I was supposed to get synthetic oil and you put regular oil in there. He said you should have said that up front I said no one ever asked me he goes on to get extremely rude and State you should have expressed that with the person you checked in with. Then he wouldnt let me get my receipt he stopped asking any of my questions and started yelling at the top of his lungs. I never raise my voice I never was rude I was simply asking questions. So my next question to him are you being so rude because Im a black female oh he got even Ruder and kicked me out of his store without answering my questions about my car without giving up me my receipt. He told me that I can report him he doesnt care I can say whatever I want just get the hell out of his store. Not one time did I curse not one time was I ever rude well I take that back I did call him a dick before leaving the store but that was after everything was said and done. I am very disappointed in Meineke that you would employ people like this and that you will have them running your store the managers name was Jeff if that was his real name because he wouldnt give me any information about him. I feel discriminated against and will never ever in my life go to another Meineke

Had a flex pipe fixed good price but a month later the exhaust fell out underneath the car exhaust hanger was not put back on exhaust pipe

My wife went in for an oil change and the manager “shared” that Acadia mounts can go out and he “has a whole box of them”. Few weeks later I found some oil leaking from underneath my wife’s four-year-old Acadia. Took it in and was told two engine mounts were bad and leaking. No symptoms of this but $540 gone. Three days later same oil still leaking. They said it was “residual”. Did some research. The mounts are not near where the SINGLE leak came from. A little too fishy for me. Long customers gone.

Good customer service. They didnt try to upsell me on anything. They did a basic oil change with a multi point inspection. Im going on faith that they truly did the multi point inspection. These guys put the hub caps on my boyfriends tires on wrong so we cant put air in the tires until we get home.It is completely unacceptable for an/auto/ shop to not know how to put hub caps on.I gave back a star because they fixed the tires for free and seemed very embarrassed and repentant, but I still would recommend a different auto shop.

If I could give it a zero, I would. My SUV had brake problems and I was assured they would be fixed in 2 days. They had it for 2 weeks and claimed to fix it by machining a part and putting it in my master cylinder. The next day I drove it for the 1st time and my brakes locked up getting on to the highway. They charged me over $600 for these repairs. I had to tow it to the dealership ($100) and spend another $700+ to fix what they messed up. Now they wont return my phone call. Your vehicle is NOT safe with these guys.

The state of Missouri requires state and emission certification on a yearly anniversary and I was attending to that.
