I had to buy a new car because some crazy dude turned right next to us. We were in the fast lane a he just pulled over to our lane. I know he could see us but his brain was a million miles away. Short story, our car turned out to be totaled so we have a new 2016 Mazda that we will be paying 299 a month and put in a 5k down payment. The place is actually named Jenkins Mazda.

My Hyundai Palisade was totaled in a wreck recently and I wanted to replace it with another Palisade. It really impressed me with keeping me relatively uninjured in a very serious collision. I ended up going back to Jenkins with some misgivings after dealing with them on my original purchase.My apprehension was misplaced as they truly went above and beyond to get me into another car with a reasonable price, and a minimum of games. My thanks and gratitude to Jenkins for making my experience as pleasant as was possible.
Automible work was ok, but the waiting area was the pits. The coffee was good, but they were out of decaf. No soft drinks. Hardly any snacks. Unpleasant environment. The Jenkins employees were just fine, friendly and competent, other than one.A customer service rep called out to meet a waiting customer. They met with the customer standing two feet from where I was sitting. No mask and scruffy looking. I politely asked him to observe social distance. He moved one foot and resumed talking. One foot. So still very close and talking. I put on my mask and asked him to please move away. He wanted to know if I had been vaccinated. Repeatedly. Instead of moving, he just stood there and kept asking if I had been vaccinated. As if it were any of his business. Just the kind of person one would not want standing right over you.The customer service rep did absolutely nothing to encourage hime to move away from me.Customer service reps should be trained in how to safely meet customers in the waiting area. They should stand away from other customers and observe social distancing. Upsetting experience, to say the least.
Wow! Thats all I can say. I will buy every car in my future from these guys. Pat was my sales rep, Sal was the sales manager and Pat was my finance manager. I havent bought a new car in 7 years. And they made the process so easy. Im honestly at a loss of words on how to describe how happy I am with my new car and the gentleman that helped me get it.
They will work with you on pricing, pay attention to the numbers, read very carefully! Nice sales staff, easy to make appointments for service, and they will work with you on the pricing.Service can get busy, especially with COVID so make sure you are making an appointment ahead of time, otherwise: they can get behind. Service department is clean, has a TV, and small eatery with snacks, sandwiches, drinks, etc for a fee. The service department also offers free coffee while you wait. They dont offer tea so bring your own if you dont drink coffee. The bathrooms are clean and easy to locate. The staff is friendly and willing to work with you on pricing.Hyundais are highly rated vehicles and well worth the investment in my opinion.

My 87 yo mother had warranty work done on her car. She was told they don’t give loaner cars anymore but she could go to Hertz and get a rental and Hyundai would reimburse her. The work took two weeks. She had to pay for the rental. We picked up her car and we had to ask for information for reimbursement of the rental. They did not offer it. She had to contact Hyundai and send information and wait for a phone call only to be told to send more information and she might get $400 for the $700s of the rental cost not including the extra charges. We were told there would be no problem getting reimbursed. This was very misleading. I don’t believe this is good business practice.
I have bought 3 cars from here and have all of them have been serviced here until recently. I may or may not buy here again. The atmosphere has completely changed in recent years.
I had a tire blow out while I was traveling right in front of their business. They took me right in with no appt., and I was back on the road in no time.New tire, and labor was under 200 bucks. They are all so polite and respectful, which is hard to find these days!They could have easily taken advantage of my situation, and puffed up the bill.Thanks again
I dont want to give any single star. That has been the worst service I have ever received. I went three times in less than a month to get my Sonata aligned. The first supposedly lined him up. The second time I went one week later, they said the car had some three degrees of misalignment. So I had to go back last week for the same reason, and they found to have 5.4 degrees of misalignment, but this time he that l had to pay. I explained to him that it was the third time that he had to go to the dealer, but he repeat that I have to pay the amount. I spoke with the service manager a certain Aaron and he tells me, that if I drive my car down 200 avenue the cars always go to one side. I told him that my other car had never did that. Upon returning, the manager enters the dealership and how whoever laughing with others.
Larry (greeter) and Michael (services rep) are ALWAYS a pleasure to work with. I believe that I continue to have my vehicle serviced through Hyundai of Ocala, because of the customer service I receive from these two exceptional representatives. It would be nice if Hyundai brought back the buy one oil change and get the two free again though. It prevents me from looking to outside companies J/S.
Your scheduling service quoted me 2.5 hours for recall canister replacement and oil change. As I have only one car and I had to wait I opted out of the oil change and only signed up for the canister replacement (emissions). I figured I would go to a quick oil change place after my appointment. The service tech asked me about this and I told her why, she said it would not take that long (which I knew) and she had me in and out in one hour. Your appointment scheduling people are losing you business. Other than that everything was great! My tech person was excellent.
The staff at Jenkins Hyundai was very pleasant to work with. Including the 1k service checkup.
Service check-n process is seemless, staff is polite and friendly. A large and comfortable waiting area greets you as you walk through the doors. Complimentary coffee, tea, and water is offered. A small but well stock snack bar offering soups, sandwiches, and goodies for a reasonable price. As I departed I decided to park the vehicle and go to the parts department. I was inquired into having a hitch installed and looking for an estimate. The parts department provided the hitch price. The Service representative, Amber provided an estimate for installation. I departed the service center and upon returning to my vehicle, I heard my name called out. I turned around it was Amber she informed me of the number of labor hours it requires to install providing me with a better estimate. This type of customer service is a Gold Standard! The level of concern displayed by Amber reflects on a cultural of Customer Centered service!! I will return again! Thanks to the entire staff!!

Being an owner of the Hyundai Ioniq I have found not all Hyundai dealerships can work on this hybrid. Thankfully I found Jenkins Hyundai in Ocala, FL! These guys not only know how to maintain my Ioniq, but also how to repair it if needed!!! Which is why I drive from Cape Coral, FL to Ocala, FL to have Jenkins Hyundai do all the work on my car! I am on my second Ioniq and love the car! Thank you Jenkins Hyundai for your excellent service on my hybrid!! Love you guys and wouldnt go to anyone else to have my car serviced or repaired!!!
They will try every trick in the book. Do your research because there are hyundai dealers that will be up front with you. And that is online not in person. They will tell you every dealer does it but that is not the case. If you do your research they all do have markups but there are some that are minimal but up front with you so they do not waste your time.
I brought my car in for painting (warranty work). The attendant who met me at service unfortunately didnt know that my car was to be left with him and that it would be taken to the body shop by Jenkins. What should have been a 5 minute drop-off turned into a bit of an ordeal - finding the body shop and convincing them the car was supposed to be there. Fortunately I had the appt email on my phone.Body shop work was, however, very good. Had to leave my vehicle for 4-5 days, tho.

Took advantage of my 80 year old mother. Had her fix a part of her car that didnt need to be fixed and it cost her $800.Went back and it ended up another $150 to fix the problem that they only had to unplug something. Plus the service girl was so sassy. Not called for at all. Thankful the manager came out and apologized. Still all in all it was ridiculous that when she took the car there in the beginning that they didnt listen to her, that they dismissed her.😪😪😪

They had every car scam that you could think of on the additional charges...IE.. nitrogen in the tires, pin stripes, paint coating, and so many more. Dont go there!!! The african american in the service department that helps check in vehicles has the most amazing smile that is contagious. He was so well mannered, and so anxious to help. Initially, I was happy with the purchase and dealership. I purchased in May 2021. Overall, I felt like they listened to me and answered all my questions thoroughly. If they tell you that the dent protection program is included with all New cars, dont believe them. Found a dent once we got home; I misunderstood them...There was a miscommunication...I asked during the process, If I get a dent, what do I do? the response, just bring it in to us, well take care of it.Typical dealership and absolutely no desire to make things right.I reached out to them as suggested. let me look at your paperwork and I will call you back....that was 2 days ago and now they arent returning my call. Dont waste your time with these people.

Pulled in at appointment time it was checked and gave attendant the keys, Service advisor came over with work order and work was started. Was advised that there was a software upgrade did I want it installed now. I said sure and was asked if I wanted the car washed when service was completed. When work was done services came to show me the sheet and that my car was coming to the driveway.Great service by the dealership

As a woman, I always dreaded bringing a vehicle in for service. Garages were usually dirty and smelly. Here I relax in a bright, clean lounge sipping coffee and watching TV during my wait. It’s a five star experience.

I came in for an oil change and a recall. I was told it would be a 2hr wait. It was close to 2 hrs so I checked on the status by texting the person assisting me. She followed thru and got right back with me. She apologized even though we were still on schedule. She then told me 20 minutes. Then in less than 20 minutes we were on the road. I am proud of the estimate they provided considering the room was packed.

Jenkins is a great dealership. From customer service giving my dog treats to sales getting me into my first brand new car. It was great all the way around! My father has purchased cars from Jenkins, and husband bought 1, too! My other car, which I bought was from another dealership was a Sonata that came from Jenkins originally, so I had the service work done at Jenkins. It was a no brainer when I decided to buy my Santa Fe!

The sales manager is a nightmare. You tell them what you would like to pay, they come back with a ridiculous price. When you are fed up and ready to leave, they hit you with a lower price, thats way higher than you intended to pay. Do yourself a favor, dont go there.

Made appt 2 weeks in advance for a recall repair. Its a 45 minute drive for me to get there. Let me wait 45 minutes only to say, dont have part, we will call you when part is in. They knew what part was needed when I made the appt.
5 star for Jordan in the service department. He diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed my car. I was told by another mechanic that this problem can’t be fixed. He also took the time to explain the problem to me. Very impressed with his work!
I live 2 1/2 hours away from the Dealership. I purchased a preowned vehicle that was advertised on Auto trader. Essentially made an agreement to purchase via a few emails. I arrived to pick up and was happily on my way within a short period of time. No shenanigans, just a straight really fair deal ! I would definitely do business here again.

I took my vehicle in for routine service. I met with my service advisor, Courtney, who took my information and asked if there was anything else I needed or had questions about. We talked about one other issue which she said she would have to check on. She provided me with an estimate of how long the service would take. The work was finished in a shorter time than the estimate and she answered the other question I had. I got my car and was on my way. Good experience.
Went online to look at their inventory. Got a price on a car I wanted to look at. I went in, test drove THAT EXACT car and my wife LOVED it. So we go to buy it. The salesman comes in with a price about $6,000 higher and said were not responsible for incorrect pricing. I about walked out, but he went to see if he could get a better deal. He comes back with $3,000ish more than online price. It felt like a bait and switch, get us in with a good price and switch it and claim no fowl. I went on and got it because my wife loved it. Then I noticed they charged $1,500ish reconditioning fee PLUS their dealer fee. THEN we go to the credit check and finding a financer. EVERY time Ive bought a car Ive been shown financing choices from lenders with their and picked the one I wanted. I had to ASK what my APR was going to be and didnt know who through. All in all a horrible experience.UPDATE* I called Heidi Wallace and she seemed concerned and said she would contact the salesman and talk with him. She did great keeping in contact with me while she attempted to find the time to talk with the salesman. He finally called me and admitted I was right and agreed with me. That was great, but NOTHING changed. I dont know what I expected, but there was no satisfactory outcome from the contact. I still say avoid at all cost.

Worst dealership Ive ever been to! (5) Leadership needs a Quality Control Person ASAP. I have two (2) Hyundai vehicles that have been outstanding. However, Poor Management and Leadership will eventually hurt this Dealership. Will travel anywhere else for service from now on.

My first routine service experience (tires) on my Genesis G80 was pleasant; however, a month or so later after purchasing my new GV70, I have left messages 4 days in a row now trying to get an appointment, or for anyone in service to help me. Not only has nobody been available to even take my call to explain what I needed help with, but no one (after four days of trying) has even called me back to help set up a service appointment. As much as I love my Genesis vehicles, my opinion is that it appears many dealers lack the service personnel to help with the specific brand, so the service experience we are promised with the premium price tag is nothing but advertising. I have called three different dealers within 120 mile area and not a single one has had anyone available or returned my messages (both written and voicemails) to help me make a service appointment.
Normally I am the most skeptical when it comes to *getting my car serviced with a dealer*However, I am proud to say that this business truly cares about me, the customer. They recommend what is needed and differentiate between optional and safety based! I really appreciate these guys and that still feels like an understatement. Fair prices, great service, and valued interactions. No better place.
I needed the batteries in the two key fobs changed and they did this so I didnt have to struggle trying to get the fob open.
I thought I was getting a great deal on a used car but figured out after I purchased the car and was no longer wearing a mask in the car (per CDC guidelines at the time) that it was previously smoked in. I was then guaranteed they could get the smell out--it did nothing. My wife comments on how I smell like smoke when I walk in the door after driving home from work. Not what I was hoping for.

Looked at their website at the new Santa Cruz SE and it gave an estimated cash out the door price of 28k (MSRP is about 25k). When I go in, their initial offer was 42k, and in the end they wouldnt go lower than 34k.I walked out and bought the SEL (higher trim) at another dealership for 32k out the door. I get that theres limited supply, but that much over MSRP is just ridiculous.

Shame, shame, shame on you Jenkins Hyundai Ocala for not caring about a potential customer. I inquired on a used vehicle listed on your website and spoke with your internet sales dept. I confirmed the stock number, year, make and model. The internet salesperson confirmed the vehicle was in stock with me online. I then called and spoke with her and re-confirmed the vehicle was in stock and told her I would be driving up from The Villages immediately to look at it. Mind you from highway 44 and 75 we are talking 30 plus miles one way. I get there and I was turned over to a very nice sales representative, Christy Norris. She could not find me in the computer system because the internet salesperson typed my phone number in error. Secondly, the vehicle was already sold and was never on this lot. You took up 3 hours of my valuable time. I work a lot of hours and dont have time for bad, bad, uncaring auto dealerships like this place. Your all talk but your actions show otherwise.
They got to my car even earlier than my appointment time, communicated what it needed done and allowed me to choose what I wanted done at present time, and completed the work in a timely manner.

Joke!! Awful experience with one of Internet specialist.. they force you to come no matter what, I live 150 miles away. I don’t want to go there for nothing !! I just asked how much Will be a lease of a hyundai elantra SEL i give her the whole information my FICO score how much I wanna put down, and At what monthly payment I wanna be, she says yes no problem, you gonna get what you want, but from my experience any Internet specialist cannot tell you, you qualify or not to get the deal, I ask for financial manager to make sure but she refused and she says she’s gonna call me back but she never Did !!
I never, ever considered leasing before, but Carolyn was the first person to really explain the advantages of leasing. She educated me in ways, that Ive never had a salesperson do. I really felt like she was on my side, and I had never had that before at any other dealerships. A huge deal for me, because I have had bad experiences before, buying vehicles. Carolyn is exemplary in ever sense of the word. Exception at her job, and an outstanding Person. It was a joy to work with her, and I will continue to do so.

We were having a problem with our Sonata 2017 and the mechanics could not find it when they test drove it but when the service manager took us out and tested it he found that it was not the car but us letting off the gas pedal as we rounded a turn in the corner, then when we would push the gas pedal down it would hesitate for two or three seconds. We bought a Hyundai Palisade from Jenkins in December 2020.We originally weren’t going to buy from them because we had a previous bad experience the first time we went to looks at the Palisade - we were refinancing and wanted to check them out because we knew we were going to buy one - but we’re pretty much ignored because we weren’t buying then - they didn’t even unlock or open any cars for us! That was a serious turn off.We went back when we were ready to buy with the intention of only test driving to make sure that I liked the car and then we were going to drive to Orlando to buy.However, our experience with Carolyn and Nico was so amazing we decided to stay and buy - ONLY because of them. They spent time with us, spent time in the car with us, discussed our concerns with us, and worked with us on every step of the purchase.Post sale, when I came in for my 1,000 mile check up and check in they made it a point to check in with me and see if I was still enjoying my car.So far the service experience there has been good as well.I have seen reviews where people had issues with purchasing from Jenkins Hyundai - but this is because they didn’t see Carolyn & Nico.
