My brother took me to eat Gelato. Mind you my brother hated Gelato but this place is so amazing that my brother is now a gelato eater.The people in there were so great that it gave you a family feeling. If you haven’t gone in I totally recommend you to do so.

This place is AMAZING. They have the best gelato anywhere, so soft and creamy and delicious. Lots of flavors, and new/different ones, along with favorites, each time I go! The cannolis are so delicious, too, perfect outer with oh-so-creamy filling. They also have a range of other pastries and coffees. The owners are great, too! Lovely people. This is a hidden gem - a must visit.

So so so good. I came for coffee, but after seeing my daughters reaction to the gelato, I tried the salted caramel. It was so good I had some myself. And the cappuccino I drank after was a perfect compliment to the sweet & salty gelato 🍨☕😋 Pro tip: bring cash. Small business so there is a 3.5% charge for credit. Totally worth it and service, gelato & coffee were all so good we definitely left a tip. 🤗

I walked in for the first time and within minutes, it felt like home!! The owners are so welcoming and friendly. The lobster tail with Hazelnut filling was amazing!!!

Love this place they have the best gelato I have ever tasted Im pretty sure its made in house too I havent tried any of the pastries yet or cheesecake but they look yummy, I would definitely recommend if you havent tried them yet.

Best Gelato I have had in a LONG time. This is my new favorite place for desserts. The husband and wife, whom own the place are such warm and beautiful people. You don’t come across these type of people often anymore. No wonder their Gelato is perfect, they are blessed!

Love love LOVE their bagels!! I miss the New York Bagels and these are it, my family is excited because we only live 2 minutes away from here. They make their scallion cream cheese and it’s perfect. Me, being straight up Italian, was schooled on the espresso that they have. The best taste, it brings me back to Italy. Oh it’s so wonderful when a place brings memories back. Yes yes YES! This place is AMAZING! We got almost everything on the menu. We tried Gelato, then Cheesecake, and it just kept coming. It was that good... Cafe Dolce is the bees knees! Its all authentic and DELISH. Do yourself a favor and go!!!

Owned by a young couple that make and serve homemade gelato and Italian pastries. Sooo good. They are located across the plaza from Sammys Restaurant tucked in back corner. You can eat a cup of gelato in an ice cream shop out of the 50s. Everything is wonderful. Try it.

I lived in Europe for 8 years, and Ive had gelato in dozens of places. This was the best Ive had, with no exaggeration. I was floored by the aroma, texture, and savory flavors of the gelato. It turns out that the owner studied in Europe with an Italian gelato master and it is very clear. The Cocoa was very rich and nuanced, the fig strips in the fig were a delight. The pistachio had many nuances to it, with different layers of flavor and a wonderful finish. It was kind of like wine, because it had a first taste, and intermediate taste, and a finish. I also got a slice of the tiramisu and it was very authentic and super tasty.

Bagels are perfect and the Cafe Dolce Coffee is so yummy!love this spot and the owners are warm and welcome you like family. This shop is definitely my new go-to spot for ice cream and other yummy desserts as well, no other shop comes close. My opinion, nothing like Artisan Gelato!

The gelato is authentic and amazing! The stracciatella taste just like I was in Italy. They usually have 10 different flavors ro choose from. It is so hard to oick since they are all delicious. I bought cookies/caramel and fig today!

Found this place by luck. What a great spot to get gelato, coffee, bagel and desserts.. the husband and wife that own the shop are the sweetest with great customer service.. we all enjoyed it!! We will be coming back to support their business ❤

Thank God for Google! We just had a wonderful dinner at El Mezcal and decided to go elsewhere for dessert. We Googled dessert near me and it led us to La Dolce Vita.We were warmly greeted by the owners John and Violet and Uncle Sammy too! The location is absolutely beautiful and cozy. You can sit and enjoy the most amazing gelato you will EVER have (even better than Venice). They have several other items on their menu too. Apparently we have to go back for their bagels. We also had the cheesecake (Nutella drizzle) and it too was perfection! For the BEST dessert in town look no further! This was a wonderful date night! Thank you Violet & John.

So this unique, little treasure is awesome. As soon as you walk in the music is so different, relaxing yet alive and enjoyable. The gelato is made in house, a plus and pastries as well. Both staff are super friendly and offered to sample all gelato flavors, which are all so amazing. I ordered the brioche con gelato, which was recommended by them and my husband had the tiramisu with an espresso. It’s cool watching them make the brioche in front of you. IT WAS TO DIE FOR, OMG!! It was like nothing I’ve ever tried!! One of the best tiramisu hands down and my husband LOVED they’re espresso. An amazing espresso is hard to come by too and he has found it, finally! We also took some, what they call Dolcenuts to go and it was so melt in your mouth deliciousness. Our experience was GREAT and not only with their sweets but with the aura and atmosphere. Will be going back, always. Thanks La Dolce Vita for bringing Ocala what it needed like a long time ago. Haha ☺️

Decided to give this place a try and they did not disappoint. We had their tiramisu and cheesecakes and they were amazing. I don’t have a big sweet tooth but their desserts are not overly sweet, at least not what we tried. They also have an assortment of pastries that are beautiful. A small family owned place but they are legit. Definitely give this place a try!
