Good place to purchase a soda and chips

Guy charged $4.22 for something stickered at $3.19 then claimed It was too late. to stop the transaction when I objected. I can appreciate that its tough to run a small business and its an 80 cent difference. Still, I was the only one in the store. He first rejected my Amex, took another credit card from my hand and matched my ID, never once mentioning a $5 minimum or asking if I had cash. When I asked about that he had to move a mat so the $5 minimum was visible. Its 80 cents and Im unlikely to have reason to go there again, still a 25% markup from the price on the cooler is pretty shady. Of course, despite the $3.19 price at the cooler the item was magically $3.49 at the register and this guy rings things up by hand not scanner, so he doesnt even have that old standby excuse for not honoring his prices. Tack on a .50 cent card processing fee and theres your 25% markup. Ridiculous. For being a food and beverage mart the selection of those was rather narrow, though it was 9am and perhaps he was trying to set up for lunch. Plenty of oversized t-shirts and bizarre stuff nobody in their right mind would buy from a convenience store though!
