We recently had 192 of vinyl fencing with 5 gates installed by Big Sun on our newly constructed home. Jeff was our installer, who did an outstanding job, worked alone for 2 days and had help on day 3. Jeff was a very hard working young man with a young family. We couldnt be happier with the quality of the product and the installation too. We would not hesitate to recommend Big Sun.

I had the best experience with this company! I called the company within their business hours and spoke to a person directly and did not have to deal with a voicemail or call back time. They scheduled me a free estimate for a white vinyl fence within the week I called, within 24 hours I got my estimate back! I have to say I have the best quality fence on the block! Not to mention they had my fence installed with two gates not to mention within 6 hours of them showing up on time! Definitely recommending this company!

They built a fence for me that had to transition from concrete to grass to a brick wall. They did it seamlessly! Used a proprietary attachment for the concrete and brick portions. Came out PERFECT! Foreman was very responsive and called me multiple times from the job to clarify questions. I. Highly. Recommend!

I called them for a quote for a fence on my residential property. They came to the appointment took measurements and said they would send me the estimate. They never sent me the quote, even after I called and reminded them to send it. I guess it was not a big enough job for them. Big waste of time. After this posted they called me over the phone to confront me about leaving a review online. Incredible. I never received the quote I asked them to forward the original email and Pam failed to do so. Unprofessional

They came by and installed the fence on a Friday and performed the work quickly and professionally. Unfortunately the truck was missing a couple boards needed to finish the job but the worker promised to come back in a few days to complete the job. The worker came back as promised and finished the fence. The completed fence looks very nice. The worker was very professional and good at his job.

We had ordered our fence the beginning of October. It started with Matt the salesmen, he was running late the first time he came over, but did call in advance. My only issue with him was he seemed very distracted and took several calls on his phone while estimating. These distractions resulted in him coming back for a second visit due to and inaccurate estimate. His calculations were off as his measurements were wrong. No big deal, but I did go over them with him before hand. He also said installation was only a few weeks away. Overall he presented himself professionally regarding any responses to my inquiries. I also knew the likelihood of a longer wait for the custom fence I ordered would delay install. The one thing I didn’t know was the fencing came from Alabama not Florida as he insinuated. To my disappointment I did know that the company planned on doing a dry concrete pour. From my own experiences I did not agree with that, but Matt assured me that they would be putting 30 lbs in each hole and that moisture from the ground sets the concrete. My concern was attributed to my knowledge of a local RV Park that had fencing installed the same way and had to hire another contractor a month later to redo all the concrete with a wet pour as the concrete didn’t cure properly and cracked significantly.So finally about 6 weeks later the fencing arrived with two subcontractors. They intended to only put 25 lbs concrete in every other post install. I ended up paying extra for the additional concrete and for a wet pour.They were pretty reliable and on time pretty regularly. They also included me in my input on the installation which was a very positive. The job was completed in a reasonable timeframe considering the unknowns and additional concrete work.Now Pam the manager did keep me informed regarding the delays and also followed up with me after completion of the job. Although she did tell me she was going to send me same color screw hinge caps that their install subcontractor took with them. I’m still waiting for those.I chose them based on several reasons.1. Matt said they have been in business for more than thirty years and manufactured their own fencing. Not sure about that one.2. The custom color matched the home.3. They were as much as $2000.00 less expensive than the three other quotes. (Although one of the other contractor quotes were with wet concrete pours)I still don’t agree with a dry pour!Would I likely hire them again? Probably, but with wet pours for every post in the contract.

Extremely Satisfied from beginning to installation! I needed my front fencing replaced. Received several estimates and Big Sun was the most reasonable and accommodating as I had to reschedule the estimate a couple of times. Paula, who came out to measure was personable and listened to my needs. She was also quick in providing the written estimate. I was also impressed with Rod, the installer. I liked that he wanted me to walk him through what I was supposed to get and that he kept in me informed of what he was doing. He asked for my thoughts/input and didnt just do it the way he wanted. He made sure that I was happy and Im sure I may have bugged him a bit; but he didnt show it at all and completed the installation perfectly and more importantly to my satisfaction!!! Very happy that I went with Big Sun and very happy that they sent an installer who was a people person and cared about the quality of his work. We used Big Sun for a big vinyl fence job at my house and it was a fantastic experience. From call to quote to install I was very impressed with this company. They later installed an automatic gate for me which we absolutely love. My experience was so good I added some aluminum fence and another custom gate at my rental property. As a widow on limited income I had them replace the outside fence line of my property. They came out and took the old fence down and put up the new in one day.

The original crew couldnt show because of an illness, but Katie kept us posted on getting another crew to do the job. Justin and his installers arrived the next day and were absolute professionals. They went right to work and were done in 3 days completing just under a half acre of wood stockade fencing board by board. They did a phenomenal job, which was more than we imagined. The entire fence follows the lay of our unlevel property with meticulous straight, even boards. I just cant say enough good about Justin, Josh and Jay. Thanks so much for an absolutely awesome privacy fence. We truly love it.

The install took a few weeks and now trying to get them to come out and put it back up after the hurricane has been a nightmare. Ive called every other day for 4 weeks and they still cant someone out to fix it. We lost 10 out of 20+ panels and I keep getting the run-around from Jessie. I dont recommend this company!
