Avoid this company at all costs. They said they would come out do an estimate and then called and switched days saying their work truck was in the shop which was fine. Then the day they were supposed to come do the repair I called the office several times to confirm my appointment and no one answered. I finally received a voicemail from the office woman who said she had left me several messages which she had not and that she had to go pick up her niece and they were running behind. when I called her back I told her I did not receive any messages and she claimed she had been trying to reach me all morning and was very rude about it. She said I just want to know whether you still want me to come I told her at this point I did not she yelled at me and said fine thats all I wanted to know and hung up on me. After reading all these other reviews I am glad they did not come. Very rude and unprofessional.

I had forgotten to cancel my appointment due to family sickness and a crazy week. Lee showed up at the house and I attempted to apologize because I knew it was my fault. He got extremely angry and began yelling at me about my unprofessional actions. I apologized again but he continued to yell. He got in the car and then opened his door again and continued to yell. I just had to close my door and go back to my life. His behavior was unwarranted, rude, and completely unprofessional. He’s lost any future business I may have given him.

The receptionist hung up on me in my face after she proceeded to tell me she wouldn’t service me because I didn’t quite understand what she was saying to me. She was very rude an I recommend not doing business with someone who doesn’t have the patience to deal with customers or to talk to you like your a human being.

Im very pleased with my purchase. I needed a piece of glass for a coffee table. I stopped in and spoke with Lee with the measurements. He questioned the thickness I measured (3/8) and he said that thickness may be too much and said perhaps 1/4 will work better and save a substanial amount of money. He was correct with the 1/4 and the piece ended up a little less expensive than his quote. They are busy and I was lucky to catch him but in future conversations he always called me back.

Be careful when hiring services and buying glasses from this store, this store has an old attendant, this person has no education, I bought a glass to be delivered in 1 day and this person does not deliver the glass and does not return the money when I find it in the store he just leaves the store locks the door and leavesdo not buy with this company this man is the most ridiculous person to deal with other people

Nice family owned business. Had several fogged windows that werent opening properly. They look beautiful now great prices great service!!!

I have had great experiences with Ocala Glass and have referred many people to them who have also had great experiences. JR is a very bubbly and outgoing guy and is very knowledgeable at what he does. It is true that they arent there all the time and you should call before you go because they have to go out on service calls and with them being a family business there isnt extra workers just hanging around. There is no Michelle that works at that business, and yes the man was probably angry that you were calling him a woman because his is NOT a woman. Sounds like a lot of the comments here are from people being rude to JR and him defending himself and his business. They have been in business for 50 Years for a reason, they do great work.

I purchased three glass window panels to replace broken ones caused by a tenant. It was my first time removing glazing from a metal window frame. The staff was knowledgeable, professional, and gave more useful advice than youtube/google or employees at Lowe’s. Will definitely be coming back in the future.

Worst experience Ive ever had with a company. I interacted with the owner in a Lowes parking lot was unhappy with his action, he was very rude.Therefore, I called the number on his truck to ask a question. The woman that answers the phone was just as rude, would not let me speak or explain my question. She she tried to tell me that the man was rude because I was his competitor. However, I never even got the chance to tell him who I was. When I tried explaining this to her, she proceeded to rant and rave and tell me F*** YOU and hang up. Worst customer service I have ever seen. And by the way when you read this my company has all 5 star reviews.

I needed a glass for my sliding door that got broken, called around and found they are not stocked except for Ocala Glass and Mirror. I gave measurements, the very nice lady went into the back and came back and told me they were in stock. I drove 40 minutes to the store and they installed the glass in my door frame in about 15 minutes. Drove home and installed it. All in all a great experience with them.

Lee and Michelle are the most God awful people you could deal with to get help with glass repair. Im shaking and in shock at the way they treat people. Not two weeks ago i got a call back by the Michelle screaming at me because she didnt like my voicemail and Im immature and talking to me like Im the scum of the earth- I had to hang up and beg my landlord to handle it. We got our window finally fixed. Now another catastrophe happened I googled repair and by freaking accident ended up calling the same hell. I even said Ive been thrnough you guys I remember being told off by a woman here before in turn apparently this was the owner this time and her immediately started screaming hes not a Woman and no one ever told me off and again I am not dealing with the nastiest customer service Ive ever dealt with in my life so I hung up. Then after calling a better completely nice and helpful Christopher in Ocala the other place calls back and its the first lady dripping with nasty sarcasm my owner made me call you back. Um no thanks. I dont know whats in the water there with your one star, but I say throw the whole place away and stay over. Michelle is a nasty nasty woman and the owner Lee is an unbalanced lunatic. Id rather have windows with holes in it. ✌

This company is so unprofessional it is amazing that they are in business. Tried to get a quote on repair of double pane windows for a customer of our business and J.R. ASSUMED that my company was making money off of him. When calling back to the business J.R. proceeds to pick up and scream NO and hang up. Are we 5 years old? Pathetic. Its embarrassing that adults act like this in this day and age. You should be a professional. Nice way to represent your family business. Do not use this business.

Absolutely HORRIBLE OWNER AND STAFF!I had an apt on a large horse farm as headed to main home to meet proclaimed owner “LEE” staff wouldn’t give me his last name ( staff says it was the owner lee) he left before we could get across the farm to meet him ( less than 10 mins). He would not answer his phone staff said he refused to come back out as we were waiting @ the house for them for over an hour. The most unprofessional rude office staff & owner in Ocala don’t ever do business with this horrible company!

Ocala Glass and Mirror quoted me a price for removing two mirrors and rehanging them in another area of my house. They arrived with no more equipment than gloves and a crowbar. Within five minutes they were breaking the mirrors into hundreds of pieces. When I asked what the revised price would be, the answer was (initially) that I should already know that. The final price WAS a bit lower, but still WAY too high for the demolition that took less than an hour. Additionally, each representative of Ocala Glass and Mirror was (at some point) rude. Finally, the representatives doing the work took a check from me for the total charge even though their office had (unknown to me) already charged my credit card for 2/3 of the total. All in all, I would not recommend this business.

Place was closed during posted business hours with a sign on the door. The guy shows up and tells me he needs a template. I draw the template, go back and again they are closed during business hours for the day! Ridiculous!!

These people are beyond rude. The woman who answered the phone was nasty and clearly bitter. I wouldnt do business with them if they offered to replace my window for free.
