What I initially dreaded and considered convoluted regarding the process of ordering my replacement engine, Wendys dedication to please relieved a lot of tension! I bought my boat (Sea Ray 220) with known catastrophic engine failure and luckily I stumbled upon this business on a Google search. Wendy often consoled me and even directed me to a newer, more powerful and efficient generation Mercruiser 5.7 engine! Wendy has helped my boat appreciate in value, return to the water for more years of enjoyment, and prevented my boat from becoming a yard ornament!

Covid has caused inventory shortages and massive price increases unfortunately. I am going to be using my lake boat in the ocean so I went on the search for fresh water closed cooling systems. None anywhere, nada, and where you could be even put on a back order status the pending costs were high. I should mention that I live on Vancouver Island BC...So I searched a few places, including in the U.S. I connected with Tim. What a treat to do business with people that value your business. I had to be sure that the product that I ordered was correct. Tim was very helpful and patient as I had a LOT of questions. Super impressed!

I purchased a new marine base 350 to replace the PCM 350 in my boat and the process was simple and easy. I sent them the specs to my engine they matched the specs and it was perfect fit. I had 3 days in pulling the engine and swapping the components from my old engine and putting it back together. I couldnt be happier, since I have recommended them to another buddy. I seldom ever write reviews for companies,but I felt compelled to do so for this company. I purchased a engine, manifolds, and risers from them. I noticed that one manifold had a crack in the casting where the plug threads in. I called them and sent pictures of the manifold. They sent it to the manufacture of the manifold to to see if they would warranty it.The maker said that they hadnt had any issues with that casting. I have installed manifolds and risers for years without an issue, so I know I did not over torque the brass plug.I spoke with Tim and they said the manufacturer would not warranty the manifold. I was not a happy camper, but I ordered another one. Tim took the order and was very apologetic about the whole situation. The next time I spoke to Tim, he said he had good news for me. Although the company that supplies the manifolds would not cover it, the owner of Marine Engines 4 less would. I am very impressed with their customer service. I would definitely recommend them. They stand behind their product 100%.Thank You Tim and Wendy for listening to me complain. I know you have a hard job at times.

BUYER BEWARE! Bought an engine from them that upon arrival had MANY PROBLEMS like leaking oil, they ground the oil pan and water pump housing to fit and many more jerry rigs to make the engine go together. Marine Engines 4 Less and Centerstate said the would reimburse us for our time installing, swapping and replacing engine. They will no longer communicate with us.

If your in the review section your probably just like me, needing a new long block but UN- sure who to trust. So I could not be happier with marine engines 4 less. (So far) I emailed them my inquiry about replacing my long block and they got back to me right away. Suggested the best option and then answered any questions I had in minutes. I ordered the engine Monday the 25th and it made its way from Florida to New York in 2 days. How could you beat that. Everything was as described and had all the break in information in an easy to understand layout. I hope The engine runs just as well as they run their business!

The people at this facility are extremely knowledgeable. They built a marine motor that has lasted for years and provided lots of enjoyment. I’d recommend them to anyone needing an inboard motor.

Bought a HEI distributor from them installed it on my 3.0l and it runs worse then the old mercruiser set up when I try to accelerate it starts backfiring then dies.Plus no one will answer my call. Always goes to voice mail. Hope I didnt get burned ! Distributor looked kinda cheaply made. Almost got stuck out on the lake had to idle it back to the ramp. With my kids on it. My wife wont even go on it now!Update, Tim sent a module out for my kit I purchased with them, USPS lost it somewhere, still boat not running, Informed them it didnt make it to my address so Tim said he would send another module on Monday well its Friday and no part to get my motor running.No signs of that one, I should have just ordered local and not deal with all these problems. And no one ever answers my call and told me Tim was on vacation!

Warning of purchase !!!!!!In July 2019, a new 5.7 liter Pre-Vortec Marine Base Engine (boat engine) was purchased for $ 3815.00 including transportation. The installation was carried out by a Croatian Mercruiser specialist company. After a short test run cylinder head valves, Stessl ... broken. Inquiries via email were only answered slowly. No picture or sound since demand for reimbursement.
