Just wanted to extend a big Thank you to Brian Miller in Ocean City for all his patience and help. Our kitchen backsplash turned out beautiful and we are so pleased. We also replaced our fire place with his help, and that came out gorgeous. Loved his handy work on our area rugs as well. Smart thinking, Brian. Avalon is our go to place, we have purchased carpeting, blinds, tile and now onto tile for our two bathrooms.

Recently worked with Brian to install vinyl plank flooring, carpet, and tile in 2 bathrooms and powder room and kitchen backsplash. He worked through numerous selection and scheduling changes. He was accessible, flexible and helpful. The installation was very well done. I was very happy with all the results.

We are in the process of building a home and our builder recommended going to Avalon Flooring and working with Mike. Mike was extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of the tiles and provided great customer service as we had to select all our tile choices in one day because we are from out of town. Our experience working with Mike was outstanding and his immediate follow ups on our questions was extremely refreshing. We have enjoyed working with Mike and can absolutely trust his judgement and responsiviness to our needs.

We had Avalon Flooring of Ocean City install vinyl plank flooring in our upstairs bedrooms, closets and hallway.Kudos to the installers who arrived early and worked throughout the day removing the old carpet and professionally installing a beautiful floor. We couldn’t be happier.

Buyer beware.. I recently was changing the look of our fireplace and only needed a small amount of tile (12sf). I live in Ocean City so I visited Avalon several times and found tile I wanted. I had a contractor set to come out to install the tile within 2 weeks so I needed it quickly. I considered ordering the tile from an online company because it was 50% less expensive than the Avalon price, but decided to order through Avalon because they said I could get it in 7-10 days. I ordered 12 square feet and it came in within one week - great, right.. Well no, because what they actually ordered me (Brian made this mistake) was 12 sheets and not 12 square feet. It was actually only 8.5 square feet. Now Avalon would have to order me the additional sheets and that would take an additional 14 days to come in. Oh, and now they were telling me it was an additional $292 for the extra few sheets! Brian gave me the price for what I had asked for which was 12 square feet, but apparently he had only charged me for 12 sheets. It may have been an honest mistake on Brians part, but asking me to pay additional for their mistake is bad service... Eventually after several calls to Brian which he never returned, I did speak with Chuck and he agreed not to charge me for the additional tile- so he did the right thing. However, learn from my lesson - they are way overpriced and you cannot count on them. Go elsewhere and save money and time!

I’ve used Avalon Carpet for years and love the product selection and excellent customer service, in addition to the great prices! I’ve purchased hardwood flooring, tile, and area rugs over the years. I highly recommend using a local store like Avalon to get great quality and personalized service.
