Well I was going in to buy some new Sanuk shoes, shorts, and a few shirts. The message on the door says they still require mask. As the state has dropped mask mandates for vaccinated individuals I am not carrying a mask. Therefore B&B did not get the sale. Went to the boardwalk visited a few different shops and got what I was looking for. So if you go by the science and have been vaccinated there are other options. Just my take.

I am extremely disappointed in the staff and return policy. My family and I have gone out of our way to support as many local businesses as possible as they have faced great challenges from COVID. We spent almost $1,000 in this store last weekend. My wife went home and tried on everything. She took the tags off a pair of pants that she purchased and wore them for an hour or so and then washed them. She noticed that there was a hole in one of the seams and had our 18 year son return them (with the tags!) in an effort to exchange them for a pair that did not have a hole. The staff was rude, belligerent and unwilling to bend!! There was no request for a refund - simply - we wanted pants without a hole. Customer service is key to success....I now hope that others that are dealing with the same level of service decide to boycott this business until they improve their service. Terribly disappointed and wont go back based on our experience and reviews from others.

I was excited to shop and grab some new dresses for summer. But was told I could not try them on…and could only exchange them for store credit? No thank you. Plenty of other stores to go and spend my money!

The store doesnt allow customers to try on clothing, due to the pandemic, yet strictly adheres to their no refunds policy. I pointed out that one of the blouses they sold us is stained and asked them to at least refund that item. The answer was no. The store is packed with unmasked customers so I cant imagine why theyre so worried about people catching Covid in their dressing rooms.

Still requires masks (even though state mandate is lifted); cannot try anything on “due to Covid”(despite the fact that Covid spreads via respiratory droplets, not surface contact); but you can try it on at home and return (how does this make sense?) BUT YOU CANNOT GET A REFUND - ONLY STORE CREDIT.So why would anyone shop here to buy something that may not fit and then not be able to get your money back?No thank you. I’ll go to Macy’s, Target, or just about any other place that uses logic to formulate a customer service policy.

The staff is great. the store is a little on the higher end price side but definitely well worth it. The store is also really cool to walk through. Expect to be in here at least half an hour while looking at merchandise as well as the store overall.

Not only are their prices completely bogus, but right now (more than 1.5 years after COVID, at a time when most places have opened their dressing rooms again) their fitting rooms are still closed for COVID reasons yet their store policy is still only return for store credit. It seems like a reason to just take your money. If they were really concerned about COVID, youd think theyd still have their masking policies in place. I hope they lose money. I definitely wont be back.

The Ocean City store should be ashamed of themselves. I bought a shirt and shorts that were a splurge for me. After bringing the two pieces home, I tried them on and they did not fit so I put them back in the bag with tags and receipts.My mother took these items back for me since we are not local and she was in the area. When trying to make the exchange for the bigger size, my mother was given a very hard time by the manager. He was very rude and unaccommodating about helping with the exchange. He would not allow the exchange of the shirt because he claimed there was a stain from deodorant, which of course would rub off easily.I know that times are hard and that businesses need to stay afloat, but from what I have been reading about this particular location it is owned by someone who is not nice and not friendly to customers.I was ready to spend more money there my next time down the shore, but after hearing how my mother was treated and how poor the customer service is I will not ever spend money here again.

Very disappointed. Spent 30 mins picking out things only to be told you can’t try anything on. Not sure why the dressing rooms are still closed. Obviously not bothering with any COVID like restrictions or precautions for that matter. I left behind what would have been a large haul.

A little bit of everything here. On this visit the t-shirt selection was a little thin, but Im also pretty picky.

B&b is my go to store down in ocean city! super big and great selection. most of the clothes are really expensive, but they aren’t b&b’s brands so i don’t think i can complain ab that. be prepared to spend a lot if you’re getting more than 2 clothing items. the employees are friendly (for the most part). taking a star off because i wish they were stricter about their mask policy. many customers were not wearing masks. but i guess they want to let everyone in so that they can make money. i just didn’t feel super safe. but i love the clothes!💕

The adorable clothes (especially juniors) cannot be found anywhere else. The prices are high but they do have a rewards program that helps. Long lines at the register, no social distancing, they need to setup an online presence. I never stay in OC without visiting B&B.

Has summer necessities but would like to have seen better markdowns at this time of the year. Always has what you need for quick b**** weekend

The value of the items is always a plus. Workers are courteous and helpful. Always have loved what I have purchased here. Some really fun styles!

This place is so underrated because all the surf shops steal its thunder. They have a lot of popular brands and there is usually something on sale. Salt life, billabong, ONeill, rusty, you name it they most likely have it.

The store has nice stuff. But the owner is a horrific woman. Never buy there AGAIN. Truly a horrible human being. If shes not a robot?

Large selection of mens flip flops, slides, and some boat shoes. Actually, there is plenty of clothes for men. There is not a lot of room in between product for customers. No big deal but I wouldnt bring a stroller in there. I paid $38 for a pair of really nice comfortable name brand flip flops. I was happy with my purchase. I didnt really have any interaction with the staff except during checkout but they seemed friendly enough.

Horrible service. No try-on rooms due to Corona virus - shoppers beware! So I asked if the $69.00 swim trunks were returnable if they didnt fit? No, final sale she said smiling at me. I should have walked away, but I added to B&Bs daily dollar haul, because my wife said dont come home without them!SO...The 2XL swim trunks I got dont even go over my knees!!!Hey B&B...how about making an exception due to Corona virus try-on room lockdowns?Anyone want a large pair of swim trunks marked 2XL???- bigeasy

A nice spot to stop in and find all kinds of goodies. My teen girls liked the jewelry and clothing. I found a few things I liked as well. The staff were very nice and pleasant to talk to.

Overpriced items. Bad customer service and HORRIBLE return/exchange policies. Owners/management could clearly care less about customers

My husband bought me a dress from there. I noticed it’s fit was a little off so I looked closer at the straps and they deliberately cut part of the dress and then made it into a “halter”. Very shady. 👎🏼👎🏼

This store is usually better but I didnt really like their winter line. Still spent 200.00 but thats only 1/2 of what I usually spend here. Since I live between both the east and west Coast this is usually a universal shop that I can purchase from and fit in on both coast lines but everything was very frumpy and boxy this visit. Thumbs down for this trip but will shop again when home in spring. Asbury ave great location, pay to park except off season, limited parking. Rear lot but still pay and limited spaces. No public restrooms, clean store, easy to see from the street but always a busy street so know where you are going and watch out for people crossing everywhere and not just the cross walks. Close to other restaurants and shopping. Definitely visit here.

B and B is stocking for the summer. The racks are filling up with gorgeous swimsuits. summer outfits and great summer hostess gifts. The mens department has a large selection of brand name summer wear like Billabong, Oakley, Ralph Loren and more...

My favorite place to shop in Ocean City for take home gifts. Attractive items to enjoy for family and friends and self. Thanks

They may have nice clothing but please be aware of what you are supporting. The owner of B&B department stores south is a tyrannical owner who treats employees like slaves and customers like numbers. If you ever feel like you are being followed or pressured in this store, she is the reason. And when’s associates do not make large sales they are reamed and or fired.

I only visit this store once a year but enjoy the experience every time. What a selection of just about everything you would want or need.

Not what I expected. Thought it would be a small department store like Bealls, Peebles, etc. It had a big boardwalk souvenir area and nothing special in the clothing area. Mens dept WAY TOO BIG and employees very uninterested in customers.

This department store used to be great but the product quality has declined significantly over the past few years. There are still some nice selection of name brand items but they are very expensive and that is a sharp contrast to the cheap poor quality clothing that lacks style.

Great quality clothing here, just pricey. Hardly anything is on sale during the summer when we are there, but we love the clothes.

I will tell u that this was a grest store once upon a time. I have purchased bathing suits, and other summer attire for my whole family for so many years now. But i went in to help find a bathong suit for a niece they had nothing and the prices were high. The store was empty, no SALES, not the same style merchandise, etc. I slways loooked forward to going to B&B.

I used to like this place. Now I know how they think of people who look different and not up to snobby ocean city city b&b standards. My sister and her daughter, visiting from Oregon so they got the hipster look, walked in the other day and the employees were immediately following them everywhere as if they were going to shop lift. It was very obvious and insulting. The employees didnt even have the decency to even ask them if they needed any help finding anything. Thats not how to conduct business or treat your customers.

Everyone who work there is super friendly, the owner is super nice and everything is priced resonable.I always make a trip to B & B when i make my way to nj. I have not been disappointed in any of purcheses.
