I have used the services of Ocoee Tire and Auto Service three times for various issues with my Jeep Wrangler, and every time have been treated with a sense of priority, professionalism, and courtesy. PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING TO THIS PLACE.I took my Jeep Wrangler to this establishment last Friday because it was pulling to the side. Art, the owner, tells me that “Alex is a Chrysler/Jeep certified technician”. They ran a diagnostic test on my vehicle and called me back telling me that a Strut is what’s making the Jeep pull, and tells me that it’s going to be $567 to get it fixed. I told them that’s fine and to proceed with the repair.When I leave Friday evening I noticed that the Jeep is doing the same exact thing I brought it in for. I bring it back on Saturday morning when they open. The Owner tells me that he’s gonna have another technician look at it. After a few hours they called me & showed me, what they assured me was the issue, and told me that fixing this will definitely fix the pulling from my Jeep. Now they charge me $985 additional of what they did the previous day. When I go to pick it up they tell me that it’s driving like a dream and that it’s fixed.The moment I hit the highway I feel it pulling immediately. When I brake, it jerks to the opposite side. I brought it back to them to check it on my next day off, which was only 5 days later. A few hours later they call me and say that they have no idea how to fix the vehicle and to take it to a Jeep dealership so they can take a look at it.So, $1,500 later all they say is “I’m sorry.” This has been the most unpleasant, unprofessional, disappointing, & dissatisfying experience I’ve ever had with any business.

I went to this auto shop thinking I would have a good service experience considering it is recommended by AAA. But I have received rude unprofessional and demeaning treatment from the owner himself, Art. Dont be fooled by his soft-spoken demeanor. Words that came out his mouth was quite unexpected. He called me cheap take your honesty somewhere else I dont want you to be my customer after I pointed out that they are charging me the wrong price that was quoted to me which I agreed upon. Janice the service manager did admit that she did made the mistake on the price. The store did refund me the partial amount for the discrepancy but not after the humiliation and the name calling I have received in front of other customers in the store. Small or large business, this is no way to treat a customer specially from the owner himself!!!!!

My car was shaking and making noises in the front end on my way to work. Pulled into the shop and they were able to looked at, diagnose, and fix the problem all within 90min. Great customer service!!! I will definitely be coming back for future car repairs and maintenance. Thank you for one of the best service experiences.

I had a flat tire on 429 and found my vehicle did not have a spare. They were amazing at finding a tire for me so I wasnt stranded or had to call a tow truck. Amazing place. Highly Recommend.

This place was referred to me by AAA. I want to first say that THAT was a blessing in itself. I called in and spoke to Art, who was so pleasant on the phone, but an even bigger pleasure in person. He was so kind and sweet and just when I thought it couldnt get any better, he turned me over to Janice, who gave the best customer service in Central Florida. The problem was the fuel pump and Janice went out of her way to save me money and find the best deal for me. I really thank God for that because this was just 4 days BEFORE Christmas. They were professional, caring, considerate, and timely. They got my car after 10 that morning and I was called at 3:30 to pick it up. This is the place to take your car if you have any problems. They are awesome and do it all the while maintaining a smile. I felt like I had known them forever. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND OCOEE AUTO AND TIRE!

Because this business is for tire service, I wanted to know if they also did wheel alignments. I spoke to a gentleman named Art who was very warm and friendly. He asked me if I had AAA to receive a discount and then he told me that when I came in the next morning that there would be coffee, granola bars and snacks while I waited.When I got there, I was met by another warm and friendly personality named Janice. I tell you the laughter and the conversation was as if we knew each other for a long time. I can see why they have such high ratings from so many people. You cant fake this type of warmth and kindness.They are a treasure and I am glad that I chose them this morning for service. They can count me as a permanent customer and I look forward to doing business with them in the near future!

Great family owned business! Fixed my flat tire in a jiffy!

I got a flat tire on 429 at Ocoee Apopka Rd. I called AAA and this was the closest tire shop. The lady at the front, Janice quoted me a price of $182 to replace ONE tire. I told her that I had been quoted $117 at another tire shop. She basically called me a liar amd so I calles them infront of her. She responded that it was hard to believe, but that she could not compete with that price. Poor customer service and way too high prices. Would not return and would not recommend.

I made it home thanks to them. I had a flat tire and 2 broken lug nuts, they were able to get me back on the road and home. Centra is a nice tech, she worked on my car and explained what needed to be done, and got me home safely. The prices are reasonable. Would recommend.

I woke up and took the dogs out for a walk this morning, only to find that I had a flat tire! There was a screw picked up from somewhere... was it the construction down the road? who knows. All I know is that Im fresh down here from Virginia. There, I had a guy - you know the kind, the guy that takes care of you AND your car - and doesnt work you over or keep you waiting.I walk into this place and tell them my problem, and the first thing they do is go wow, and on a rainy day too! I immediately feel more comfortable. They tell me that yeah, they can patch it alright. So I sit in this really comfortable recliner in their waiting room and watch and wait. Not only did they repair the tire and replace it on the car, they also took the time to make sure that it was still in alignment! Thats certainly some extra level service.I only had to wait about 10 minutes or so, and I was back on the road, but I do know one thing now. I have a guy that Ill be going back to when it comes time to replace all of my tires. Thank you for all the hard work and for taking care of me when I needed it!

My son had to be in that town for work and had a flat tire. When I arrived I found that he needed both front tires. Ocoee was quick to find them in a price I could afford and had them installed in less time than it took me to drive there.

I recently towed the owners granddaughters truck and had a chance to meet the owner. Great guy by talking to him I can tell that he really cares for his customers and their vehicles. We were headed from Miami to Tennessee with the whole family + the dog when our alternator forced a detour. The friendly staff managed to get the proper alternator and have it in the next morning for us to continue on our way, and this in the midst of COVID-19! They did unnecessary service. Disconnected parts to do that service that were not necessary. Did not reconnect those parts when the service was completed. Did not resolve the issue with the vehicle.The vehicle had the same issues 5 days after I picked it up. Had it towed back to them. Then they told me there was a new issue.The vehicle had the exact same issues both times. And after paying $867 I still had to have the vehicle towed somewhere else for repair. They were not willing to refund any of the money or fix the issue.The first repair was on there Diagnostics at $95 and if they miss diagnose the problem then that is on them.

Great company! I brought two used cars to them after buying them from a used car dealer. They were very honest with me and let me know what problems I had with the first car. Thanks to their extensive safety check of my car it was found to be a bad purchase with frame damage and I was able to bring the car back and get another one. I brought my second car to them and again they preformed an extensive safety check and the car is safe and a great purchase. They made a new customer of me and I will only go there for future car repair needs. They are very honest, the customer service was exemplary. They do AAA safety checks as well as repairs. All in all Ocoee Tire and Auto repair is a great place to bring your car!

Dont waste your time even calling. I called Carl to inquire about repairing with a patch a 245/70 R17.5 tire on my car hauler trailer. He told me no problem to come right over. I drove 4 miles to his shop and he told me he cant patch it. So if you want professional tire service just go to Crawford Tire Service about a mile away they took good care of me.

Great service! Fast and affordable. I was in town to see my mother, and accidentally put gas in my diesel car. Needles to say, I was in a panic. But, Saul and the guys saved the day and potentially thousands of dollars in car repairs.

I brought two vehicles in to be addressed on Monday. They patched a tire on my 2018 Camry and did an oil change on my 2004 Mitsubishi B2200 truck; all at very reasonable pricing. I also asked them to give the truck a good look for any issues that may need work. This can sometimes be a costly proposition. However, they advised the truck needed nothing but an oil change. I will bring all my future vehicle issues to Ocoee Tire. They were upfront and honest without charging me for services I did not need. Thanks for renewing my faith in honest work!

I knew nothing about Ocoee Tire and it’s just 4 miles from my house. They were highly recommended by AAA so With a few dollars in my pocket I stepped out on faith and gave them a try. What a blessing my decision turned out to be. Immediately after I drove up I was met by a very nice auto tech who listened to me and assured me they could locate and repair the problem. One of the best places to take your car in the Winter Garden/Ocoee area. This is where our family takes our cars for all our mechanical needs. The owner and manager are both trustworthy and straightforward. One thing I really appreciate is that they dont try to up-sell you with things that you dont really need like most places do when you go for an oil change. (Jiffy Lube - Im looking at you and Your cabin air filter needs changed ... for $75.) When I take my car in, I want to know what needs immediate attention and what upcoming repairs/maintenance I may need to consider for the near future. Ocoee Tire and Auto is perfect for that and more, if you require.

My name is Ed and I own a Chrysler 200. I called on a Saturday and spoke to Janice. I explained the problem, it was a wheel hub assembly replacement. She said bring it in, hour and a half later my car was fixed.Just finding a shop that will take your car on a Saturday (two hours before closing by the way) is impossible, let alone turn it around hour and a half later. Here on vacation & had brake issue under warranty. They worked with warranty departments, our service department in Ky and got us back on the road in 1 day with new brakes, pads, rotor & 2 new tires & a brake flush. Called us while we were in Disney with updates & had a key drop off for convenient leave of vehicle. Napa warranty parts. Highly reccomend.

I took my Dodge Magnum to this shop because I apparently had a slow leak that would cause my car to run hot a least once per week. I explained to them the issue as well as the maintenance lights that would come on when this happened. They told me that they completed a diagnostic check for any leaks (which they charged 89 dollars for) and that no leaks were found but that I needed to replace my thermostat. One week later I returned the car because the EXACT same thing happened again along with a new problem that I had never had. The car was (all of a sudden) making a loud roaring sound when the air conditioner was on. Anyway, to make a long story short I returned the care every single week for 4 weeks because no matter what they claimed they fixed it STILL had the same problem I came in for along with new additional problems that started right after I picked my car up the first time. And conveniently all the new problems relate to the cooling system that only THEY have touched. The guy finally told me that I have an internal leak with a head gasket and basically there is nothing that can be done. (In other words we are tired of you bringing it back so dont.) Well if that were the case wouldnt that be evident after completing the diagnostic check they charged me for, and why exactly was I told I needed a new thermostat that I was charged almost 500 dollars for!!!! I have contacted my attorney and was advised to have a professional find out the REAL issue so that I have it in writing after which they will definitely be hearing from him soon. It is never ok to rip people off and assume that they have no means to make you take responsibility. I can and I will. Horrible experience!

I deeply appreciate the honesty and competent professionals at Ocoee Tire. We have been taking our vehicles to Art and his crew since we first moved to Orlando, back in the 90s. Then their shop was on Good Homes and Colonial. They have always been honest and reliable, never pushing us to do more than was needed; they are understanding with those on a tight budget. They will tell you truly when there is something that you can wait on for a bit, or when something is dangerous, or could cause further damage by delay. I have gone in thinking that I was looking at a major repair, only to gratefully learn that the problem was minor.I recommend them very much. They have never steered us wrong.

UPDATE: About a year after having the clutch replaced by this location, the clutch blew out again. This time I decided to do the work myself since I had the time. This is the first time anything has been done with the transmission since these mechanics touched it and I have found numerous things that were not done correctly. 1) The starter that has to be removed, only had 2 of the 3 bolts put back in. The 3rd bolt is hard to reach, so I guess they decided to save the time and not put it back. 2) The transmission is designed with a remote shifter, that is connected with 2 bolts on the underside of the cabin. One of them was twisted off which allowed the shifter to move around and is likely what caused the transmission to lock out of gears when trying to shift. Given the amount of rust on the bolt, it was like that over a year, meaning they saw it, and chose not to mention there was a problem or fix it. 3) Several of the bolts on the transmission bell housing were loose and backing out. 4) When I originally picked the car up, the clutch was very weak. When I questioned them, they told me thats how it was and that he had used his equipment to bleed the clutch, but could try again if I wanted. I have now learned that it is a self bleeding clutch that just bleeds itself the more times you push it. There is no way to use the traditional bleeding methods he said he used.Very poor workmanship and dishonest and expensive. The price they charged me in parts for just an OEM clutch is almost the same price I paid for the Exedy 600 Stage 2 clutch and Exedy Racing Flywheel.Had my 2014 Mustang GT towed in after the clutch went out driving down 429. The job was overpriced, but fine, everyone has different prices.The problem is, the apparently didnt tighten the bracket holding the mid point of the driveshaft tight enough, so after a few months of driving, it came unbolted and fell down. Fortunately I was just starting to back into the driveway, because if it happened at highway speeds, it would have torn allot of stuff up slapping around.I now have to try to find a replacement bolt so I can fix it myself. If youre going to charge a premium for repair work, at least do the job right and FINISH the job.This is in addition to my transmission being fine when the car went in, and when it came out, I suddenly didnt have 3rd gear and lost 5th gear a couple days later.

First, I think it is important to say that the owners and mechanics are professionals. They are very respectful, especially to women. I have an old car with a lot of miles on it and have had to replace many parts. When these things have come up Art, and his people, have been willing to help me understand by way of detailed discussions, drawing pictures and showing me schematics pulled from manufacturers websites.Second, I have been taking this old car of mine to Art for several years. So I am not not speaking from the point of only one visit. All maintenance is done there so that they can help me keep track of any potential problems and stop them before a disaster happens.Lastly, the only reason I have not given an excellent mark for appeal is because they are currently working of rehabbing the waiting area so I know it will improve.

Took my Nissan Cube in because the AC blower motor would intermittently not operate. After 4 days they returned the vehicle stating the AC unit was low on Freon and the system had to be evacuated and recharged. I disagreed strongly with their diagnosis and repair. They kept the vehicle for 2 more days stating they could not get the blower to fail, and charged us $202.00 for the Freon. Two days after the vehicle was returned the car experienced the same problem. Nothing repaired and a $200.00 bill.

Long story short, I am a local commercial mechanic that buys, rebuilds and sells used vehicles. The owner of this establishment tried to charge me over $200.00 for a basic wheel alignment that PEP Boys was able to complete for less than $60. All the while claiming that I needed additional parts. When questioned, he actually said quote, unquote ”take my piece of Sh&$ car and get the F out of here”! I would never recommend this shop to ANYONE!! BE VERY SCARED!!

A/c 19.95 said will cost then said 50.00 instead. When comes to pay at the end told me 89.95hr now then charge me over 200 dollar for a 15 dollar part without telling me itll be 89.95hour for diagnostic when the original price was 19.95 to 50.00They pricing to get you there about there diagnostic is wrong . Be careful.

We broke down on the highway on the way to Disney & had to have it towed to the nearest AAA station & they were it. Car needed a water pump. knew it would be a big job bc of the location of the water pump on this car. they said the job would cost $1700. 2 days later it started overheating & now it needed a new radiator....another $300.had them fix both & now only 48k miles later, the car needs both of these AGAIN! it was bad enough we got ripped bc of the emergency situation that they took advantage of,but to make matters worse, both of these parts broke & now they have to be replaced! i think this place took advantage of the situation! the 2 old people that own it should retire! if i could give this review no stars,i would

A routine, check-engine light appeared in my dash. Generally I am aware that means to stop driving and seek assistance. Went to advance and it was diagnosed as O2 sensors so I flushed the fuel lines and the light went awayA week or so later, the light reappeared and I knew I should take it in. I own a Chevy Cruze and decided I should take it to an authorized dealership for good service. (I am new to the area). When I made the appointment, the receptionist failed to tell me that there would be a $145.00 diagnostic fee. Upon arrival they reassured me that it was ok because they would apply that fee towards repairs. Reluctantly I agreed but I knew, or thought, that the job should cost more than that but not too much more. They returned an hour later saying that I needed a new pump and purge valve at about $180 total (parts). So when the walk out price was over $1000 I was shocked. Turns out their labor also costs $145/hr. I didnt have nearly enough money and left disappointed.A friend told me about Ocoee Tire and Auto and mentioned that the owner was a nice gentleman who gave him solid advice without trying to talk him into extra services. So I decided to give him a call.I work in hospitality and I can appreciate when people make great first impressions or go out of their way to help. I was amazed by the voice on the other end. Art is a friendly, patient businessman who truly appreciates your time. He was kind while I stumbled around the pertinent information about how he could help me. While he couldnt provide a firm price with the information that I had provided from the dealerships diagnosis, he gave me a ballpark $550 and we decided to do business together.I arrived bright and early the next morning and Art and his staff went to work. Immediately, they were vocal, upfront and honest about what they were doing, the cost and why it needed to be done. It was nice to be treated like someone and not just a ticket number. Turns out that a specialty technician had to come by to reprogram the car (because newer models are all computer based now) so I headed home and enjoyed knowing that I was in good hands.I got a call that afternoon with updates, and the next morning saying that the dealership wasnt wrong, but they also werent thorough enough to notice that they didnt diagnose the whole problem. A leak was still persistent after changing the parts. I confirmed continuation of service and even asked for an oil change to make sure that I covered my bases. Who know how much more the dealership wouldve charged.The car was ready but due to personal reasons I waited til the next day to pick it up. Upon arrival, I was greeted with by a cheerful, humble man who welcomed me and assured my safety. We went over what had been done and future repairs that would prevent any problems for me as I traverse the dangerous tourist filled roads. All in all, my services came in under $500. With the extra labor, with the extra parts, with the oil change! Under $500. Art, you have earned my business and my familys business as long as I am within driving distance!
