Great place for craft supplies. Lots of floral, sewing, crochet/knitting, jewelry, scrapbooking & painting supplies. They also have a gift and frame department section. Shop here all the time.

Unfortunately, Ben Franklin is closing this store on October 3rd. So make sure to make your trip right away. It is a great place to shop.

Wide variety of items. At least 2 associates asked me if I needed help, which is great. I browsed most of store and found selections to be great. Would suggest having all clearance items grouped together. No photography policy kind of a turnoff but it wouldnt keep me from coming back. Was glad to have stopped here and got many gift ideas from your gift section. Prices were mid to high range.

Empty store except for few pieces of fabric. Always friendly however. Store closing doors soon!

They are having a going-out-of-business sale and they had quite a bit of stuff I needed for some home crafting. Only thing that could have made it a little better is that their pricing could have been a little lower.

They have everything you can think of for crafts. The best part is they have crafts for every age level!! The only down side is some of items are a little pricey, but all in all I love this place!

I walked in needing fabric and cording - and was totally out of my element. The young lady clerk listened to my analogies, translated them into the items I needed and I was out of there in less than 5 minutes. Good service. Handicapped accessible.

Great craft store. Drove 60 miles to go to this store. I never seen so much craft items. The yarn selection is to die for.

My overall experience with this vendor wasnt great. I selected them for my wedding because it was a local vendor close to my home. Id gotten other recommendations from other brides, but I went with Bank of Memories because they were close to me and I thought--its just flowers! Well, while the flowers were okay, the process and experience working with them was my least favorite thing about this vendor.The pricing would change even after I was quoted a price. Not a big deal because I document very well--but I didnt like feeling pressured to spend more money when I had a budget. But my LEAST favorite thing was the condescending tone! Im very big on customer service, so I my best vendors for the wedding were those that were prompt, professional (They use a paper hard copy contract that they send in the mail---there are too many digital platforms out here that would allow a business to not only create contracts that are personalized-- instead of fill in the blank contracts with pen marks with scratched out changes--but you can also send it digitially with digital signatures. This would save a lot of time. I wait 2 weeks for my first contract to come in the mail.All in all, there are too many other options in the city to choose from and I think I just prefer a different customer service experience. I would not recommend to anyone based on my experience.

One of the only non chain craft stores left. Great local store that carries different products. It is worth the drive for many different crafts. Nice fabric selection. They also have a rewards program. Make sure to sign up. They will email you special sales and rewards.

I love this place. On my yearly visit to Wisconsin this is always my first stop! Has something for everyone.

The staff was great, the selection was good but I was disappointed with the prices. I live an hour away so dont get there often but use to go there because I could get great deals and I bought nothing because I could get it cheaper other places. Not sure if I just happened to go on a day that they didnt really have any sales so I will try it again but if prices not better I wont waste the gas

This store is bigger than I expected. Everything I would need is in this store. It was worth the drive to get there. The workers are very nice. Helpful in helping me find thing i need and correcting a price on a item right at the register.

Clean, lots of variety, and friendly staff! The selection is great and it is nice having a craft store in our city without being limited to the bigger chains farther away like Michaels. Kind of expensive for certain things but overall a great store with decent pricing. Such a great variety of things along with extremely unique stuff you cannot find anywhere else!

Didnt know Been Franklin stores were still in existence let alone this great! They have countless gift items, collectables, craft, sewing/knitting & artist supplies. Good question, reasonable prices, excellent & knowledgeable staff. Walked out with 3 bags of supplies for various projects for just under $42! Great experience.

Best place for framing. They also have hobby stuff and interesting items.

This place has been around as long as I can remember it seems like they have gotten a lot smaller over the years but they are a wonderful place to find your basic crafts and some collectibles and knick-knacks. They are also good at making bridal bouquets and that I love them for it. But not as big as other places I have been 2.

Best place to shop for everything to spark your creativity. The sales associates are all so very helpful. One if my favorite stores.

I was hoping for many craft but nothing new and with my interest in miniatures see dried floral department is almost gone away along with the railroad and miniature items. The price is high starting a craft store. It was better in the past, but now is more like a Hobby Lobby.

I love shopping in the Fabric Dept. The ladies are always so friendly and cheerful. They make shopping for fabric so much fun and are always interested in what you are creating.

My favorite place to shop for my everything I need for my crafting needs.

It had alot of yarn and items made up with yarn. Material was great. Over it was great to see a nice Ben Franklin for crafts.

It had been awhile since I was here so I was excited to go. It seems to me that the store has changed since last time I was there. I liked how it use to be better.

Ben Franklin has a tremendous inventory that covers art, crafts, hobbies, fabric and gifts. Also professional framing and decorative materials. All top of the line!

I will miss having Ben Franklin in our community! I have been shopping there for 50 years.

Ben Franklin is a magical place. For crafts and gifts they find amazing treasures and choices that arent found elsewhere. Even when Ben Franklin stores were common, this one stood out. But time and online stores are taking their toll. Shelves in some parts of the store are no longer full. The interior is starting to appear somewhat run down. Signs up warn customers not to take pictures, which is absolutely silly.Hopefully the owners can recapture what made this store great! Fill the empty shelves with consignment crafts made with supplies from the store. Incorporate online elements into how the store runs with reorder online QR codes, frequent buyer programs and Pinterest hits. While some people will still turn to Amazon over a few bucks, most will appreciate the help and inspiration that could set BF apart and make it relevant for many years to come.

Nice craft store. Large store with a big variety of items from party supplies to sewing and craft. They will make bows for you for a nominal fee. They also put together floral arrangements for the cemetary, weddings etc. for a fee. Of course I buy the product needed there.

Great fabric selection sad store is closing

I truly enjoy wandering through the isles and seeing all the different crafts available. It’s nearly an overload of DIY projects running through my head all at once. I have never had an issue finding what I need. I gave 4⭐️’s because I recently bought an expensive pack of markers and when I went to use them, they were all dried out. They could lower their prices too. Too overpriced, however it’s still my go-to craft store.

Fun place to take my kids for family craft fun

I always have to weigh out - how much do I need yarn for my next project vs how many condescending glares do I want from that person in ‘customer service’. And forget bringing my children here- They were told not to touch the toys (you know, the little plastic animals sitting on a bottom shelf at kids’ height..). So, with four (well behaved) kids home with me all the time either BF staff lightens up a little or local parents can’t do their shopping here.

Ben Franklin is a cute little craft store in Oconomowoc. Most items tend to be a little over priced here and their cashier system is manual typing, no scanning here. This store could use a bit of updating, but they have items that you just cant find anywhere else. Employees seem pretty happy to work here and are relatively friendly. Would love to see a larger frame collection to pick from! Cant wait to check out their basket weaving supplies next time Im in.

Not sure what store these last reviews were in....but they werent in Ben Franklins. Its a great store with a lot of variety and choices. Love their Quilt Shop!!! Its the best! They even have a club which is great. Their gifts on the Country Corner area are wonderful! They offer a wonderful variety for any crafter! Definitely the best place for your crafting supplies and well worth the trip! They will also special order for you if they dont have....you dont get that from chains!!!! Great customer service.

This is just a place that I remember from my childhood. They have been open for many many many years. Prices are a little high .

I could spend way too much time and money way too easily.

This store has all your crafting and art supplies you need without having to drive to Milwaukee. a full service frame shop. The Country Corner gift shop where you can find that gift for someone who already has everything!

Pretty merchandise, regrettably I can find similar wares for less money. I would buy SO much more if the prices were not so steep.

Love having a craft store close to home, yet rarely end up purchasing what I went in search of. Limited selection and high prices when compared with Joanne, Michaels or hobby lobby. Coupons are only in papers and are typically limited to select items. Very friendly, helpful staff.

Its an Oconomowoc gem. They have a little of everything and always what you need . The gift shop is amazing, many beautiful unique gifts and home items. You could stay for days and not see it all!

Great place to find craft items a little more different and special than big box craft stores. Great gift selection as well.

Convenient with a great selection of craft and hobby items, but that is where it stops.I found a great pattern today and was very excited about it. Came home and bought it online and paid less for it even AFTER $2.99 shipping. Prices are high, even for the convenience.Todays visit found staff hanging around the desk gossiping. I waited for them to finish their conversation to ask a question and received a long sigh with a two rows over that way, answer. She immediately looked away and took up with the gossip session.Ive tried repeatedly to like this store. Today was my last visit.

Many are lower elsewhere.First Off- Love Ben Franklin, the inventory and convenience is hard to beat. Even found clearance skeins marked down to $12 when the norm range is $10-$11 regular price, $8-$9 at many places on line.Another example is Kroy sock yarn. Ben Franklin Price $7.49-$7.99 Most places sells this between $5.50-$6, and Maximes on line for $2 99.Is a nice place to get yarn urgent projects or if you run out . But I feel if buying for a large project, shawl or sweater the project cost will be at a harsh markup when shopping at Ben Franklin.

I come from Madison to visit this store. A great selection of paper-crafting items, and miniature items. I also like their gift area. Staff have always been helpful.

It is such a fun place to visit. It has crafts that will create your imagination for young and old alike.The people are knowledgeable and can help in all categories. I used to live here in Wi an come back every year for the summer and get fabric that I cant get elsewhere. I just wish I could order fabric from Ben Franklin in Oconomowoc to my home in Arizona.

Friendly staff, decent selection and fair prices. We had to return a couple of items and staff was very helpful, although the requirement for detailed personal information on the return form, like drivers license number, was a bit too much, so we just omitted it.

Best selection for crafting, sewing, gifts, school supplies across the board! There is always something new to find here!

This store has a huge, wonderful quilt shop contained inside. I would encourage quilters to pur them on their quilting bucket list!
