Asked to leave heavy shopping bag by check out so I look around. Told not a good idea, someone could steal it, would it really of hurt to put it behind counter for an 66 yr. older woman? Asked for help finding a book, kinda got left for another known by name customer. Left buying nothing. Now, you know why small businesses are going out of business because Ill order on line.

I grew up here; waiting in-line for midnight book releases, stopping in countless times for last-minute gifts for my bibliophilic family, and all my favorite summer days when my mom would treat me to lunch and let me pick out my next book. I’ve never left this magical little store disappointed or empty-handed, often due to Ken’s consistently great and passionate recommendations when I can’t make up my mind. This is an excellent independant book store right here in Oconomowoc. They have all that you need where you can pick up the books, smell them and feel them. You cant get that one line. If they dont have it they can get it.

Post election, this entire store is littered with obscure anti-Trump books displayed face up. When youre likely barely able to exist because of Amazon, how can you afford to take this stance when youre in one of the most pro-Trump cities in the country
