Last two months ive been working with Mike and scott. I have no complaints. Im very picky and precise in my work. Im please to say that AAM Competition Team are wonderful people that know exactly what theyre doing. I love the support and high quality products they have to offer. On top of that there honesty. I will be ordering from them more and working with them on future builds for my shop in chicago.

I have made some mods to my 2003 350Z, and am thoroughly pleased with the products and especially the service from AAM. The Z-MAF sensor, True Dual 3 Exhaust system, and High Flow Cat products I purchased were of high quality and met all their published claims. The True Dual system gave my car a respect-garnering deep sound, and added to the achievable HP of my Z.When the initial Cat placed the pipe too close to my frame, AAM within 4 days manufactured and rushed a new one out to me without questions, which fit well. They offer fast response and solutions, not excuses. AAM service is second to none. Ill always look to them first for parts.

AAM competition was excellent. Will definitely be doing business with them again. When I purchased my 2010 GTR it came with an AAM exhaust but was missing all the hardware and gaskets. Mike took the time to walk me through everything I needed and guided me in purchasing my Cobb access port. I ended up purchasing 3 inch intakes and an access port with a. Remote tune! Mike went above an beyond with helping me with my access port issues and getting me remote tune maps in a timely manner! The car runs like a champ and I’d recommend Mike and AAM to anyone!

I purchased the Resonated Short Tails last summer for my 370z Nismo and love them. Fitment was perfect and the sound is exactly what I was looking for. Louder, but not too loud, and a nice deep aggressive tone.

Purchased the AAM Competition Resonated High Flow Cats for my 09 G37 Coupe. The team made it clear these were built to order and gave a window of 10 - 15 days turnaround. I received my HFC on the 10th business day from ordering so I was impressed. In addition they use Fed Ex to ship which is a bonus in my book (Anything but USPS). The HFC are very well built and a quality product and theyve really opened up my car. They pair well with my Invidia Gemini Exhaust and I have no drone. I do recommend purchasing these if youre in the market.

Recently purchased the AAM Intake Manifold with the Ecutek Tuner. Both are pricey but worth it. Already have the AAM HF Cats with S Line full Exhaust. Easy online order and fast shipping. Manifold is a quality product, looks great and was an easy install. Ecutek Tuner was an easy set up process.Worked with Mike the entire time from sales to programming my Z. Took a few Map installs and Data Logs but Mike was on top of everything, always in communication with me, even on a Sunday!Outstanding service from Mike getting my Z looking and running better than when I bought it from Nissan. If youre staying Naturally Aspirated, I would highly recommend the Intake Manifold, CAI, HF Cats, Exhaust and Ecutek Tuner from AAM Competition.

Once shipped, it did come the next day after shipping. The item is in excellent condition. 3/5 stars soley because of how long the item took to begin shipping and of customer service. Thanks.

Great work, customer service and results. Repeat customer here: Complete exhaust, minor engine work and multiple tunes done by AAM. They really saved me from possibly having to rebuild an engine by discovering a mishap I caused myself. They went out of their way to correct the issue; which warranted me treating them to lunch as the least I could do. Worked with my warranty company for payment of an unexpected repair and performed a front to back mechanical assessment of vehicle; notifying me of issues unrelated to requested work. Trusted for regular maintenance, bolt on upgrades and full FI installations. Don’t install aftermarket parts without getting a TUNE from AAM; you will not get the Hp/torque results you expect without it. I have had AAM install parts twice, with DYNO TUNING each time. Car is significantly more responsive, quicker and feels like a rocket (with only intake, exhaust and TUNE modifications). The TUNE is the key here; it unlocks the Hp/torque of the bolt on’s you ‘think’ are going to transform your ride. Think twice before believing you can do your own TUNE; do you have the experience and knowledge to keep yourself from damaging an engine, would you buy a car from someone who claims to have tuned the ecu themselves? You would be a fool! Let the pro’s do it. AAM knows what they are doing; they have been in business for years; and they truly have a passion for the work they perform.

I always have a excellent experience at AAM Competition. With all the work I had done on my Nissan 370Z they were very knowledgeable and helpful helping me select the correct parts for my Nissan 370Z and they were professional. All work was done right the first time and the dyno tune I was given was perfect and spot on for how I drive my Nissan 370Z. I highly recommend AAM Competition they were great to deal with thank you again.

Bought the s line short tails for my 370z last year and they have been amazing. Just recently got my s-Line Midpipe as well to finish the exhaust and the car sounds perfect. Perfect customer support and quick turnaround time from the time you order, to when the exhaust is made and delivered.

I took my 2008 Infinity FX35 daily driver to AAM Competition looking to put a little bit of excitement back into the ol girl and Mike knew just what I needed.I got a Plenum Spacer, HFCs, Midpipe, Axle Back Exhaust, and Performance Tuning. AAM Competition went above and beyond to make sure the custom exhaust was PERFECT... and I love the performance gains almost as much as the new more-aggressive exhaust note.I also had the AAM crew perform several other maintenance items which were no problem for them at all. Mike made sure that I got the best bang for my buck and kept me in the loop while the FX35 was in his care. I went back a month later for routine adjustments and I can attest to the reliable support you can expect from AMM Competition.

After leaving a great review i am changing it to reflect the actual work that was done to my car. Their turbo system is great but it ends there. I had AAM install my turbo kit and this is the list of issues that was created by their team.- Fuel lines were left resting on down pipe which then melted and almost burnt my car to the ground- Turbo Waste-gate Actuators were smashed against frame of the car and never worked. The turbos were always pushing 17.5 lbs boost without any boost control. When the motor was removed we saw that the waste-gate actuators were smashed and not functioning.- They left a hose clamp in the intake and it worked its way into the motor. This in turn broke the motor which has now been fixed. 2 pistons were destroyed and cylinder walls as well.- The tune on my car was done with Ecutek which destroyed the Auto-Trans. Had it built by Level 10 in Hamburg NJ (these guys are awesome) 4 times to finally realize it was the tune from AAM- The tune on my car was running rich to the point it fouled out plugs in 3000 miles- Had the car tuned by Vinny Ten Racing in New York and the car made more power and had not more issues with the Transtotal to get everything fixed after working with AAM was approx $17500 including Tows, Motor Replacement, and etc.

Ordered their product, waited for months for them to ship out and item loss somewhere and never get to me, now they expect me to pay more ontop of it to get another one to me. It was their company responsible to ship out item In secure way as possible to customer and item was hundred of dollars. I would never thought AAM is that horrible. Better off go spend else where or end up waste alot times, headaches and moneys as like me. Stay warned guys. Their company such a scammer, they will NEVER pick up the phone or even allow any phone to call thru. They charged me from my card and havent receive item I ordered, its been months and I in the process of reporting them to better business bureau.

THIS IS A LONG REVIEW BUT PLEASE READ IT IF YOU ARE A NISSAN/INFINITI OWNER AND ARE PLANNING TO TAKE YOUR CAR TO AAM FOR ANY KIND OF WORK.I am writing this review in conjunction with my friend. Around December 2014, the clutch on my friend’s G37S one day refused to come up from the floor. His concentric slave cylinder had failed and a local Nissan dealer immediately quoted him $2000+ for a new clutch. He however brought the car to AAM because of my recommendation and he thought that he would use this opportunity to upgrade his flywheel, clutch, etc. with stage 1 parts. We worked with Marken Smith at AAM who said that we could order the parts from Z1 Motorsports ourselves if we wanted. Marken said he was going to do the same thing himself anyway and just to make sure that the parts ship to the shop. We were never told that by purchasing the parts ourselves and having them shipped to the shop that AAM couldn’t warranty their work on the car.AAM total labor quote with tax was $1,580.This quote ended up being closer to $2,000 for labor when the final bill settled because AAM said they ran into some difficulties with the install. Why was my friend up-charged on his bill because AAM didn’t know how to do their job? AAM said that they had never installed a concentric slave cylinder kit before and so it would require some extra time. Today, we know that a clutch/flywheel job on a Nissan 370Z/G37 shouldn’t take more than 5-6 hours. We were stupid and didn’t do the research at the time. We didn’t think to question the 8+ additional hours of labor to install the concentric slave cylinder elimination kit. After more than a month, my friend received his car back in mid-January 2015. The clutch pedal was extremely heavy to modulate. Again, we were stupid and didn’t do the research so we thought this was normal for a stage 1 clutch’s feel. Over the next few months in 2015, my friend brought the car back to AAM a few times because it wasn’t shifting right. It felt like the clutch wasn’t disengaging and engaging the gears correctly all the time. For example, sometimes the shifter would pop out of gear into neutral. The clutch fluid reservoir in the engine bay was also not holding fluid and would become low after a few days. On each visit back to AAM, they would make small adjustments or say that this was normal for the kit blaming it on the parts which we bought. They never took responsibility. Finally in 2016, my friend’s car got to a point where the clutch hydraulics started showing signs of problems and eventual failure. If the car was left sitting for a few days and you wanted to move it, you would have to let it warm up and pump the clutch 20-30 times before it would let you put it into gear. With no recourse available from AAM, we did some research and learned about Hill’s Garage in Elkridge, MD. I visited the shop a few times with my buddy and we spoke to Frank and Suzanne Hill who are good people. We explained to them our situation and they told us that there was something definitely wrong with my friend’s car. They also said that a lot of cheated AAM customers come to them to fix their now broken cars. Frank and Suzanne Hill were able to get my friend’s car into the shop quickly. They pulled the transmission and immediately notice the sub-par work performed by the techs at AAM. A bolt was just resting freely inside the transmission bell housing and many of the parts were not lubricated as they should have been. This is probably why the clutch felt extremely stiff to modulate from day 1 of AAM’s installation. They put in a new flywheel/clutch/concentric slave cylinder elimination kit from Z1 Motorsports and the car drives well now. Stay away from AAM!(I had to condense this review because of the character limit. Visit the Yelp review for more details.)
