If I could give this place a 0 I would! John is the rudest person that I have had the displeasure of semi-knowing. The company as a whole is a joke! Maybe one or two employees were decent. Oh, and if you ever have the bright idea to try to work for them. DONT! John is the biggest liar on the planet and when you start questioning things and calling him out on his lies, he will do everything to push you out and make you miserable. He has been reported to the Texas Workforce and the corporate office!

They have a really great customer service and the best technicians and management at your service at all times. My experience has been pleasant.They take pride in making sure customers are satisfied and treated right at all times. I am pleased with their services and they have remained the best in what they do. Especially the Odessa branch.Keep up the good work guys! 👍 Great job!!

This was the 1st time I visited this Southern Tire Mart in Odessa Tx. as I usually have my tires replaced at the house. I called and asked them about their stock on hand and was very professional and helpful with my questions. They had the tires in stock I needed so I was able to get an invoice started so once I checked in I had to confirm a few details and I was put right in line. I was in/out in 2 hours being they were already busy and it was 2:30 in the afternoon. I will definitely be back for my next tire purchase as they made the whole process very simple. Time is $ with us Professional Truckers and it’s great to have a shop respond quickly to our requests for our time restraints.

Twenty minutes to closing time, flat tire 😩the guys at Southern Tire come thru again ! Not only did I get a great price and service when I bought all new Yokohama’s for my big truck, but these guys have gone the extra mile at every turn to keep me a happy customer!

Extremely slow service. I have had good experiences with other Southern Tire Marts before. 2+hours for a flat repair 🤬 and no they were not busy at the time. Another thing is a national chain store that cant find the record of your purchases even from there own store🤓

Installers are behind the times, fill all truck tires to 100 psi even though most new technologies suggest inflating higher, then they want to argue.I guess they sell more tires if everyone runs around with under inflated tires and they wear out faster

Had the best experience! I needed a new tire ASAP, as we only have one family car. My husband was able to drop the tire off to the front desk, where Steve helped him! The tire was repaired within the hour! Amazing! Will definitely be back!

I took my truck earlier in the morning for an alignment and oil change they charge me $815 dollar just for the oil change waited about to close call me saying that they had the parts for my alignment don’t go there they are scammers very unprofessional ripoff don’t waste your time

Good customer service and very informative on proper tires. Some wait time is expected with a business like this. I would have like to seen a better waiting area do to the amount of customers waiting and the very few and outdated furniture that is available to sit in. Overall if youre in the market for commercial tires and good pricing I would definitely consider giving this place a call or stopping by

Nine people waiting in line to be seen and the manager leaves to go to his office. From the line I can see into his office and he’s playing on his phone not even working. Workers in the bays seem to care and worked hard. Front office guys working hard with the support they’ve been given.

Worst place Ive ever seen for simple service. Dropped off 4 company vehicles as soon as they opened and was told that they would be done by 2pm. Only services and 4 tires on one truck. Only two trucks completed all day and the other two werent done until the next afternoon. The 4 tires were flat the next day because they didnt change valve stems. Services were sub par on all vehicles.

When arrived I walked in to a loud and welcoming greeting from the front counter people. I was in and out in a timely manner. The staff is very helpful and informative. This is the first tire shop that I’ve been to where the tire techs come and explain what’s going on and give their suggestion on things, normally I just see techs slap on the tires and get you out of there. They are very professional and good at what they do. Keep up the good work guys!!

Waiting for over 3 hours just to balance 1 tire worst experience ever had will recommend to our company to NEVER use this place EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!

I arrived at 9:30 am on a Monday to have a tire repaired on a 1ton pickup. The tire and wheel was already off of the truck. I technically needed 2 mounts/dismounts and a flat repaired. I was told when I arrived that it would be a 2 hour wait, maximum. I sat there 4 hours, had seen several customers enter/ get their repairs-replacements and leave. After 4 hours of waiting, I asked the rep how much longer it might be and he replied that the same two trucks that were in for repairs when I had arrived were still in the bays, and he couldnt give me an estimated time of completion.... I asked for my keys back, drove 10 minutes to another shop and had the repair done in 10 minutes. There are other things that I witnessed that really set me off but, Im tired of typing so.... It is what it is

I ordered two steer tires and one trailer tire. All the tires are great tires as Ive had these brands before. I received outstanding service from the staff at this location. The person who checked me in(salesman #49500), gave me a deal I couldnt refuse!! By the time I need more tires for my trailer, I hope Im in this area again.

Bring your own tire gauge and check your PSI before you leave. They will swear up and down that they checked it, and when you roll out of there youll be 30 pounds short.

Great job I gat my tire fix real quick the young man there I cant remember his name but I know he is Spanish. This dude was so cool I remember when he called me when the bill wasnt paid he was very polite all the way.

I have been in the transportation business for 42 years and have never in all this time experience such a great group of people there at southern tire in Odessa They are not just a tire shop like I thought. My trucks have had breakdowns in that area and have been helped,repaired and back on the road.The gentleman I spoke to the first time I had truck problems was John Manual. And just as luck would have it is who I speak to each time I have a problem . The time and care he puts in to the situation at hand is remarkable, He takes pride in what he does and that is a rare value these days. I can call anytime day or night and he is going to do everything he can to take care of the problem at hand .I appreciate that kind of service its few and far between. Southern Tire you should be proud.

Nail in tire. They said it couldnt be plugged and patched.After 2 hours, brought truck over w TPMS warning of low pressure in tire they just put on.Guy says, Pull around to a bay and someone will get to you when theyre finished.WHAT? ??Dishonest, lazy, greedy.

Hey I wanted to say this is a great place to get tires. Everyone has a big smile and helps out really fast but one guy will stand out and that guy is Steve Mulder! This guy ROCKS! He helped me out today and I was out of there in no time. So thank you again southern tire and a big thanks to Steve!

Got here at 0930, was told it would be an hour or two, so I decided to wait and work on computer... needed four new tires and a brand new spare.. sales rep for the company said it would be quick since we are a major account...... I finally went to lunch at 1ish cause my truck was in the first bay.. come back from lunch, old tires still on..... told five different people I needed a spare tire, sales rep Justin knew I needed a wheel and everything.. they put a tire in bed with no wheel... finally leaving at 1551..... super agitated.. they said they are short handed and basically forgot about me..

The front counter gentleman,Mathew was very quick and helpful. The small tire tech was quick aswell. 100% will continue coming. The inspection line gets long so be ready because its one man doing his best

I purchased 8 tires and new stems for a semi-tractor from Southern Tire. The price was great compared to other places. They gave me the deal for the purchase of 8 tires. Ill be replacing the front tires soon. So Ill definitely be going back to Southern Tire.

I felt that my business was unimportant. I sat and wait for three hours and still no one has touched my truck. The people at the counter did seem very helpful When I asked about my truck I had to decipher between the employee listening to his ear buds or talking to me After I asked about my truck I was asked why I was still here. I informed him I was waiting on my truck. I have watched people walk in and get service after I asked about my truck. I feel I inconvenienced the employees and was moved to the back of the line. I will not reccomended anyone to use this company ever again.

Logan at the Front desk has always been super helpful, courteous, professional, and understanding. Similarly, Mr. Joshua Brown in administration has always been helpful and eager to help. I am really impressed by their work!

They make me go here for inspections. Guy doing the inspection is very particular. He does a good job, tho and is thorough. Hell give it to you straight if anything is wrong and gets you out fairly quickly. Place is usually busy and theres always a line. Staff inside are the worst! What a bunch of inconsiderate, rude, and unconcerned people. Would rather go to Mcwhorter or anywhere else. These guys really need some customer service training.

You could easily get forgotten about here. Waited 3 hours to get a tire replaced then I saw the work order get put on the front desk with the keys and it just sat there. I thought there was some sort of system they had but no, when I finally said something about it, it was like oh, this is yours?. They didnt even know if I paid or not, like I couldve easily just said yes I paid and took the keys but Im not that type of person. Then, that same employee said hes already helping out another customer so I then waited at least another 30 minutes to just process the payment. In short, its big tire shop with what seems like a solid business. But, the way its run is sloppy and inefficient. Thank god, I never have to come here again. 2 stars just because they actually did the job.UPDATE!!!!!!!THEY STOLE OVER $300 FROM ME!!I didnt update the review because Ive been busy, but I just got a notification that this review has been viewed by over 100 people and I have to let them know what happened at this horrible place. So, after I wrote my review and left this God awful place, I checked my center console where I had over $300 under a bunch of paperwork. And the money was no where to be found. I immediately hit a u-turn and called them letting them know Im on my way back and that my money is gone. I get there and they sit me down and tell me to wait. After about 20 minutes of them investigating. They called me in to the office with who I guess is the main man (Manager/District Manager) and he asked if I know who worked on the truck and i said if I see him I can point him out. So he takes me to the yard to point the guy out. I then wait in the office.. After about 10 minutes, he comes back in and hands me 3 one hundred dollar bills and says we couldnt find who did it but here you go. And im just like, well theres still like 20 dollars missing and he just gives me this face like this is the best he could do. And right there I knew that he was literally just backing up his staff (or his thieves). So instead of wasting more of my time, I left that hell-hole. Beware people. You might ask, why did I leave my money there? And to that I will say, why would my money be stolen from a legit business? Whatever the case, there are some foul practices going on here ladies and gentlemen. So, dont leave ANYTHING in your car when you get service done here or if you can, just avoid it completely.

I was there when they opened the doors, spent $1200 dollars on a set of tires, and had to wait nearly 3 hours to have them put on. After leaving extremely irritated I realized they didn’t reset the tpms sensors and a few days later I had a low tire due to a leaking valve stem. That’s the second bad experience I’ve had with Southern Tire and there won’t be a third.

I was there 3 months ago it took 2.5 hours on a Friday it seemed like they werent an any hurry tried again today Saturday only one truck in front of me still took 2 hours guys just walking around not doing anything mentioned it to the front desk they just said I was next. Poor costumer service all around

The place is under new management with different people as a in house tire tech for my company STM does an excellent job supplying me with tires and the services that come with it. Even if Im not able to handle a job within my company southern tire mart is there for me when I need them day or night.

Scammers. Tricked me into buying an overpriced retread tire when the original could have been repaired. Then installed a new tire for more money. I caught it and made them take it off. 2.5 hours to fix a flat on a commercial vehicle. I was the first one through the door when they opened.
