Went in looking for a good used mountain bike. She told me they do not deal in used bikes so I started looking at some of their new bikes. She was not helpful in helping me select a bike and made me feel as if my questions we bothering her. She also informed me that they are retiring and will be closing the store soon. I guess customer service no longer applies because of this.

I had a very positive experience at the shop. I walked in with a vague idea of what I needed and the owners were very patient in explaining the options. They were so friendly even with other customers despite being past closing. I am so happy with my bike purchase. Already took it for a few miles around the neighborhood. Highly recommend.

If I could give a negative review I would. Its worth the expertise and excellent customer service to take the short trip to Peytons Bikes in midland. If you do happen to purchase anything here, carry it to your car and take it to midland to have it adjusted correctly. Lose spokes and tight bearings are quick destruction to an already expensive hobby. Will never try giving this shop my business again.

Theyve always been friendly and very helpful. Just got my bike back from them after a tune-up. Im impressed, its a high end bike that I bought about 6 years ago at another bike shop, its never shifted as well as it does now. Its better than new!Im headed back to look at saddles, apparently Im more sensitive than I once was.

So sad to see this business close. Jeff & Deidre will be sorely missed. Their expertise cannot be matched!

Had my bike break down with a blown tire and busted cassette far away from the nearest bike shop. Happenstance brought me to Odessa with 30 minutes until the shop closed. Brought in a cassette purchased from another source (Amazon) and the owner was happy to put it on for me while I picked up the other items I needed. Others experiences may vary, as observed in the polarizing reviews, but this shop did me a solid when I was in a major pinch. Who knows, maybe the owner rightfully didnt pay up on review extortion...

I took my bike to get repaired and the owners wife said they were too busy and couldnt even look at my bike for two weeks. She said, it was her and her husband and they had too many bikes to assemble. This bike shop is the only Trek authorized dealer in Odessa. I contacted Peytons Bikes in Midland who were busy as well but were willing to work with me with a two day turnaround. I will never go back to Bicycle ETC. and I definitely dont recommend anyone to either.

What a sorry attitude. I was left feeling like I wasted their time.I went in with the intention of getting a pedal for some shoes I bought online. Having never used cleats (thank you knowledgeable but rude lady that works there, I didnt know the term before) I let her know I was getting back into cycling and was curious about the clip in pedals. I regret I didnt mention up front that I had bought some shoes online already because that would have saved us both some time because she has no patience for online shoppers and doesnt want your business if you are one.She spent a good 5 minutes explaining different types of pedals and shoes which I was appreciative of. I even started kicking myself for jumping the gun buying shoes online just cause they were 75% off without research first. So I mentioned the shoes I bought and she immediately shut down and walked away to talk about me to the guy behind the counter. I was left feeling awkward and guilty. I left and my guilt slowly turned to a little anger and I thought about leaving a 3 star review explaining but instead figured she deserved an opportunity to hear rather than an anonymous review.So I called and started to explain and she cut me off with Im too busy to hear that you were going to buy something after throwing it in my face that you bought online already. I even thanked her for her good information and she continued with how she doesnt have the time to listen to how I was going to buy something.This is why people dont shop local. Because the local shops dont want you.

Jeff was knowledgable and gave me a pretty good idea of what I needed. He does talk, and talk fast, but for ME it was a good thing as Im not that experienced and need someone to explain things to me. In my opinion, he did a good job and he was more than willing to answer questions on a follow call I made.

Took my sons bike in for tune up and tire fix. Service was great. Time for completion was a little long but nothing that was not told to me up front. Price was fair. Will return for future needs.

After buying 2 bikes and accessories from them it all went south when they discovered I purchased a third bike from a different dealer. Apparently you are supposed to only buy from them and if this isnt what you choose to do they will be standoffish and/or just be rude, personally I buy what and where I want so they no longer have my business. I doubt they will be around much longer considering the way they choose to treat people.

I love this shop. Ive traveled far and wide to find a shop that provides everything that I need and this is it. Besides the huge selection of every style of riding plus accessories and decades of experience between the very helpful staff. I live 90 miles away but this is my shop.

I was really impressed with the service there. Took my back wheel there to change out sprocket. It was done in 3 minutes and I was on my way. Great Job guys!!!!

I absolutely love bicycle etc. They have great bikes at decent prices. They carry oakley sunglasses at a great price. Diedre and jeff are such kind owners, and will go out of their way to get you on the bike thats right for you or your child. My husband has been a loyal customer for at least 10years. I will continue going to them and so will my children. They are so much better than peytons bikes, they actually care about the customer and dont want their customer to get screwed even if it means a loss of a sale.

After reading all the reviews, i have to say im on the fence with this business. before Christmas, we were planning on buying the kid a quality bicycle rather than a Wal-Mart brand bicycle although Wal-Mart had some decent bikes especially for the price. The woman was very helpful during those days We eneded up getting a wal-mart bicycle due to his lack of interest in the BMX or tricks hobby. So, it worked out good. fast forward to January, and I buy a bike online. half the price of what locals want here. I called this place and asked if they could assemble my bike and sell me the correct cleats to go oin my shoes. She simply told me shes too busy and good luck. Well, Ill make that dirve to Peytons Bikes in Midland where I was taken care of via email, phone, and tomorrow in person. Thanks Peytons Bikes...you have a long lasting customer now. Bicycles ETC employees are very knowledgeable and do throw in a lot of technical data in a conversation, but sometimes they are very rude and shoo you away if you dont buy from them. ill never set my feet in that place again.Oscar D

First time ever in his store buying stem bolt (for bike didnt buy from him)he was nice until I told him brand of bike then after 3 min of him ranting on about how stupid anyone would have to be to buy that brand of bike, I finally got it paid for. went back later that same day to get coaster brake cog he refused me service. said he was too busy to mess with that even though we were the only two in store. Hes just a jackass

I got a bike less than a month ago and the pante sucks I wiped it down today and the pante started to come off $500bike and my brake just fell off

I went in with my BMX bike to check what kind of parts my bike had,so that I can order them online, and when she saw me pull up Amazon on my phone she got so mean and ugly .Then she did not let me buy the things I was going to buy and told me that she had to go and kicked me out👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎.Of you need anything​ for your bike go to the bike shop in Midland it is way better and less expensive.

The man who owns this place is very rude, after spending hundreds of dollars dealing with the woman who works there (who was really helpful and polite) we went back there today and had the unfortunate experience of dealing with the owner who threaten my son, I will never go back there and I definitely dont recommend anyone to either.
