Best burger I’ve ever had.

Come by for lunch with some coworkers. Nice place, and a lot of options for buying meat. I had a cheeseburger, which was good, but average. Maybe I was expecting more because of the hype about the best in town?

Absolutely love this place. The burgers are always super delicious,and ordering for a party is super easy and painless. They have everything you need from the food to the charcoal and lighter fluid. We love coming here to eat. The inside is fairly small and crowded but the food is worth it. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the meat you get.

Hands down best burgers in the Permian Basin. Ive tried other places, but the beef patties at Whitehouse are supreme and prepared perfectly. Delicious sides to pair with an even better burger. Expect thick slices of bacon. I just wish they had corn bread buns.

I dont know what all the hipe is about. The meat is bland with no flavors. At least put salt and pepper. Very disappointed, this place is over rated, and the staff is horribly rude too! Its not just my opinion but many others. I just took the time to say that they are terrible online. There are way better places then this one!

I was excited to visit this place and left disappointed. “Best burgers in Texas” is false advertisement. Burgers were way overcooked and very dry. The seasoning was great and had the potential to be a great burger, but that is not what was delivered to the table.They have a great selection of choice meats and the staff was very friendly. If you’re looking for great meat to take home and cook yourself, you’re in the right place. If you’re looking for a place to have a great burger for lunch, there’s much better drive thru options.

I moved to the West Texas area a little over a year ago. Being new to the area I was eager to check out the best local dining spots. White House was one of the first places that my coworkers told me about. You have to go, the burgers are the best in town They were not wrong! The simple decor and meat counter inside hides a unbelievably tasty patty and all the fresh fixins you want. Friendly family service so its easy to understand why this place is packed at lunch! White House has become a favorite of mine and of my clients as well.

Over all very nice. The burgers are very good. The store has a nice modern feel to it, in that you can by a few things for the grill and still enjoy a good burger there. The meat selection is also very good. May be a bit pricey but I think you get more than you pay for here. Would recommend to a friend.

Usually a decent burger. Showed up at 546 before closing time, which was at 6, and they refused to serve me. Said kitchen was closed. Super disappointed in how the manager treated me and his response to my inquiry about not serving food during posted business hours. As an Odessan and supporter of small businesses over chain restaurants I hate to say they will no longer get my green vote.

This is a great place to shop. They had a good selection of meat. The staff was helpful.

Great burgers! Quick service. I ordered 2 cheese burgers, fries and tots. Very fresh tasting and you can tell they use fresh beef. Little pricey, paid $23 bucks for the meal.

Hands down the best burgers in town

I have eaten some really good burgers in Texas, and one of my favorites is a few miles away in Midland. When I was in Odessa for work, and I was within walking distance of a restaurant advertising The Best Burgers in Texas, I was intrigued and decided to give them a try. The food was good, but I question their claim. The organization of the waitstaff was superb, and the crowded restaurant was served quickly and, again, the food was good. I would be happy to eat here again if given the chance.

While the burgers ARE good I used to go for the freezer packs as well at the old location. Went in and couldnt get waited on! I was going to buy 2 freezer packs to stock up but they only wanted to wait on a family that came in AFTER I did and ordered burgers!! This is the second time I have had this experience so unfortunately Im probably done. I dont live that far from their old location and can get burgers elsewhere. It was the meat market portion I came for and sadly thats not the focus anymore.

Very good food, one of the best in Odessa & Midland combined. I give them 5 stars because the family owned aspect and service quality. The footing theyve made in the community. I think they shouldve kept the same prices as the old location and more importantly kept their old location. Theyre too pricy in my opinion.

First of all, I have never tried to eat here during lunch so I cant speak to that. However, I have dined for supper many times. The staff is great and the food is prepared exactly like I want it. Ive never waited more than 15 minutes for my order either. The burgers are huge and I love the onion rings! They have coolers of food also available to buy. You could literally walk in and get everything you needed for a grill party in one stop: the meat, sides, and condiments. They have seasonings for your meat too. I have given many of my favorite people gift cards to this place and it always brings a smile. Highly recommend.

One of the best burgers I’ve had, hands down! The employee at the counter was awesome and made some great recommendations. I had a cheeseburger with green chile and bacon as well as curly fries. Everything tasted fantastic and I am definitely going to be coming back for more!

This is a good place. They also have fresh meat for sale and some from other companys. The order portions are bigger than what you expect and its delicious. My only gripe is the mayo they use. Its sweet like miracle whip, not really mayo so I suggest bringing your own.

I had a cheeseburger with curly fries and I absolutely loved it. The fries were really well seasoned and the burger was really good. Perfect bun to patty ratio. First time to eat here but definitely not the last.

They advertise the best burgers in Texas. They arent the worst but, I wouldnt call them the best either. Not a bad establishment, fast, reasonably priced.

Whitehouse Meat Market is not only some of the best burgers in West Texas, but its amazing to me how on point the entire staff there is - consistently. They are always friendly and always busy. I sat at lunch, and watched a gal meticulously wipe down the top of the trash can lid. The bathrooms are spotless. Strange as it sounds, this is how I always gauge how clean the kitchen is. If the folks there care that much about what is seen, I believe its fair to assume the same care is taken in whats not.Ive had them prepare all the burgers and setup for multiple events, and just pick them up about an hour ahead. Things have always gone off without a hitch.Great place to eat.

Fantastic burgers great meat selection

I came here for the green chile double cheeseburger. I have to say, being from New Mexico, I take my green chili seriously. This place nailed it! The beef tastes incredibly fresh and well seasoned and they use REAL cheddar cheese. Hands down the best burger Ive eaten in the entire state of Texas! Ill definitely be back for more!

Catchline is The Best Burgers in Texas. Doubtful. Ordered a normal Cheeseburger with grilled onions and a regular drink, total was about $12. Decent burger, patty seasoned with what tasted like general steak rub, onions were cut thick and grilled well. The patty itself is thick, what I think is too thick to not have it grilled to order, brown all the way through and dry. Buns lacked flavor. Good tomato. I might patronize this joint again for lunch with some coworkers, but this is definitely not going to be one of my go-to weekend destinations.

Great burger and grilled cheese!

One of the best burgers Ive ever had. Im from Phoenix, AZ and we burger joints all over but something about the meat and seasoning were a prefect match. Will definitely come back when Im in town. My daughter (8yrs) said she thought she was in heaven when eating the food and she is a picky eater.

Service during lunch is a bit slow but well worth the wait. The seating area is too small for the amount of business they do. The food is simply fantastic! The meat tastes completely different than other meat it has rich flavor and fantastic texture that really makes the burger unique.

Been here once but prefer their location on 52nd. One of my favorites for burgers. Butchers are friendly and work hard to make up exactly what you need.

For great burgers, visit the original Whitehouse Meat Market on 200 E. 52nd St.One star loss for becoming overcrowded and frenetic during peak hours, and turning into a scene from World War Z.

My son an I come into the market an had a great welcome the men who work here where super helpful an while we took a min to figure out what meat pack we wanted we had bugers!! They where great I loved my green chilly patty melt its was so great my sons burger was very good he likes the burgers here way more than whataburger thats says a lot for a 13 year old lol just want to say a great thank u to these guys for the great experience! I will be returning here anytime!!

Came here once before during lunch, got a basic cheeseburger. Burger was a little over done, but it was lunch hour so I let it slide. Decided to give this place another go, got the double meat cheeseburger with bacon, lettuce and mayo only (Im picky). I was in a meat haze afterwards. It was sooo good. Glad I have this place a second chance.
