Good batteries

We do like interstate batteries but I was very disappointed with the customer service. When I arrived there the morning of 10/22/2018 there was one person at counter being helped. Two gentleman came in after me. The person at counter asked for help and when the help arrived he went right to the man in line behind me. When the second helper was told I was there first he said I was already being helped. Even after I told him i wasnt the second helper wouldnt help me. When I got to the front of the line I told the first helper that obviously it was more important to help the men first over the women. He said it wasnt and made no further comment or apology. You can bet I wont go back to this location in the future. A simple apology or explanation would have appeased me. Shame on you interstate batteries!

I bought 2 of the high end batteries from them 48 months free replacement. Then I had them install the batteries, I was going to watch them but per policy not allowed in the shop. After 1 week I started having trouble with my truck: check engine light, service battery charging system. I found 1 of the negative cables loose and thought I fixed the problem. The next day it did the same stuff again checked cables again and both cables on the other battery were loose and they didn’t clean cable that was corroded. Again the next day was having problems and tested alternator/ batteries. The batteries showed 12+bolts and alternator showed 2. Found a wire going from the alternator to black box/ positive cable was loose. Tightened it up and have had no more problems.

Super fast and helpful getting these batteries taken out of my hands, put in for recycled and I got some cash for it. Nice people

They dont want to help costumers

If I could give them ZERO stars I would. WORST service Ive ever had. I started trying to buy 3 expensive batteries from them 2 weeks ago. Because my business has changed and I dont buy AS MANY batteries from them as I have in the past, they closed my account. I tried using their motorcycle batteries but the quality of the batteries was FAR BELOW the quality of other motorcycle batteries in the same price range. Ive done business with the Midland Texas branch MANY years and was always treated right.TWO WEEKS ago I called out there and spoke to Maryvelle to order 2 deep cycle batteries for my boat, and a deep cycle battery for my rv. Yesterday I called and spoke with a nice guy who assured me theyd have those batteries out to me yesterday or this morning Today is the LAST day I have to wait on them to open my account and SELL me 3 batteries, so I called out there and spoke with a RUDE Maryvelle, and she told me the same thing she told me LAST WEEK....well have to reopen your account. When I told her thats what she said LAST WEEK and that I STILL needed those batteries, it made her mad. She called back a few minutes later to tell me they were NOT going to open YOUR account BECAUSE OF RELATIONSHIP ISSUES !!! Because I asked her if they intended to sell me those batteries OR NOT. Im leaving town with my rv AND boat today and need those batteries NOW.Interstate batteries are good batteries, BUT they are NOT the only decent battery out there. It took me exactly 5 minutes to get those batteries delivered. About the same amount of time I spent with Maryvelle in ONE PHONE CALL, and I wasnt any closer to getting batteries I needed the last time I talked to her as I was the first time I talked to her. You would think Maryvelle OWNS Interstate batteries since she decides who Interstate Battery sells to. If Maryvelle dont like you, FORGET IT.I can do BETTER ANYWHERE ELSE !! When I asked to speak to her boss she told me he was busy, so I asked her for the number at their corporate office, and she told me to Google it and hung up, so I googled it and am still waiting for someone in Dallas to call back.IF someone at MY business treated a customer like Maryvelle has treated me, and I found out about it, Id immediately tell her to gather her things and go home. If shell treat someone ON THE PHONE like that, I cant imagine how bad shed treat someone standing at the counter in their store. I have read reviews about BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE at their store. Their STORE is out in the middle of nowhere, and to drive out in the middle of nowhere, and be treated bad too, is asking too much of their customers

My visit was very rewarding and services were done in a timely manner and done well. I highly recommend this shop for anyone who needs batteries checked or replaced on their vehicles.
